I noticed there's not currently a subforum or anything for it at the moment, so I figured I'd create a thread where people could post links to fanart or fanfiction art (art about fics they or someone else have come up with)... at least until some sort of subforum shows up. (I'll gladly donate the gold to create one.) Don't post actual pictures, please. They may stretch out the page, which is never a good thing.

Since it's early in the morning and I'm the only one awake, I'll start with some of the stuff on my DA. For a Tokyo Mew Mew fanfiction/roleplay in planning: Currently Nameless Mew MewThis one isn't my best example, but it's far from my worst.For the Yu-Gi-Oh!/Persona 3 crossover inspired by LittleKuriboh: BURN MY DREADOkay, so it doesn't look like much (it was a quick sketch I made last night with no actual intention of publishing). But the methods I used to make it made me feel it was Deviant-worthy, so I posted it. A better version may be coming in the future. ^_^

Would you like my opinion on your Mew character? I don't wanna be rude about it but... well... Actually, you choose whether or not you wanna hear my opinions and suggestions. (I am not a Yu Gi Oh fan so can't help ya there.)

Well, I have to say, you're a spectacular artist, and you really carry off the manga style. However- she's fused with multiple animals AND she resembles Zakuro. The animals also seem to blend in with the whole "lone beast" thing Zakuro has going, and added to that she's a ninja. Can you kinda see my point here? Not being rude or anything but this is the makings of a 'Sue. If you were making an original story with this as a lead, then sure it would be marvelous, but seeing as you're placing this into the Mew-Mew universe, it's a little TOO perfect to fit without suspicion and/or everyone falling for her cold, calculating, powerful beauty.

Actually, they did multiple animals in A La Mode, so at least that part's semi-canonical.
...I really do suck. She was supposed to be a samurai... XD
And, now that you mention it, she DOES look like Zakuro... I was trying for more of the courageous, leaderly type, but ended up with the loner type... Yeah, my Mary-Sue senses are also tingling. Back to the drawing board! XD

Back to the drawing board! XD No, wait, oops, I always confuse samurais and ninjas. Yeah, sorry. But either way, that's pretty much "OMG AMAZINGNESS." And I just re-read the description, saying she has the ability to destroy anything, too... And yeah, in A-La Mode it was two animals I believe, which is fine, but 3 is a little overkill. I don't think you should scrap the character, but work on it. Every time I make an OC, I re-draft it at least 5 times, so don't feel bad.

Yeah. Considering the character is from middle school, I should probably scrap the whole fic, period. XD I was hoping to revive it as an RP, with this character and five other OC's up for grabs by the first person (persons?) to come along... I ended up overpowering everyone else to compensate for the overpowered OC's. Come to think of it, it would have been a mess. Thanks for the advice. XD
