I'll delete this once the topic is chosen, but I would like to have a Little RPing school here. Along with other questions some don't have answers for. It could be an OOC question but it all works. But Yea while I'm posting this I have a question, well more like a tip but its that I would like for some one to show me how to properly set up an RP. AND... How to get a short story started. I know that the questions should be asked somewhere else but I felt like posting them while I was already setting this up. > razz

I don't know about you guys, but I would deeply love a sort of Chatterbox forum.
It would fill me with joy to be able to talk to people outside of character at a designated location.

You know that would be a great Idea. I approve it, I have some spare change soo I'll donate it to the guild. I've heard it cost money to make new topics surprised idk if thats true but yea.

I've been 'scene setting' for many years on text games. I usually go with describing the location, time of day, weather, and introduction of any characters that includes any item or clothing to note for later on in the scene. This also means I include why the characters are there as well.
For me it has taken years of practice to be happy with the way I start up a scene. I will nitpick at them constantly, wondering if I need to add more or if I've given too much information that will overload others.
Just my two cents.

Just my two cents. ~Lady Trischalli~ Ya, that's pretty much what I do, as well. ... Oh and when starting a new RP, make sure to specify rules and such to keep things under control. RP's also tend to look more professional and welcoming with everything organized and described well.

Oh, I've done all that already. It doesn't mean I'll find people who will spell correctly and know how to use grammar either.
