Lucha De Apuesta: A bet match where each participant bets something for example their hair, a title, a mask, their career, their services, a valet, control of a stable, their freedom and so on and so forth
Turn About Match: No DQ match. Special stipulation though is in order for a pinfall or submission to count you must perform your opponents finisher. Best used when opponents are of equal size and strength.
Ultimate Endurance Match: an elimination match that typically includes three to four tag teams. The match starts off with a particular set of special stipulations (i.e. falls count anywhere), with the stipulation changing every time a team is eliminated. The stipulations are predetermined and are not limited to any specific type.
Torneo Cibernetico: The match is a 16-man elimination tag team match consisting of 2 teams of 8. It uses standard Lucha Libre tag-team rules with elimination occurring with a pinfall, submission, disqualification and count out. A special 'batting' system is also used in which the wrestlers are given a specific order and may only tag in and out in this order. If two or more men from the same team remain, they must face each other to determine one individual winner.
Naniwa Style Battle Royal: A team match where members enter at one to 3 minute intervals (in this case one page intervals) alternating between the two teams. You can not start eliminating the opposing team until all members are in. Once all members of the teams are in eliminations can occur via Pinfall, Submission, or being thrown over the top rope. You must pick the order for your teammates to enter.
Parejas Incredibles: In this match the teams are composed of enemies or rivals. It is meant to illustrate the tension between the desire to win and the hatred for one's rival.
Pareja Suicidias: Another lucha libre variation of the tag team match, this one begins as a regular tag match but the two members from the losing team are forced to face each other in a Lucha de Apuesta.
King Of The Mountain Match: The competitors in the match start out as "ineligible" to win. In order to become "eligible", a wrestler must score a pinfall or submission on an opponent. The opponent who submits or is pinned is forced to spend two minutes in the "penalty box" cage. More than one wrestler can be in the cage. This often results in wrestlers fighting inside the cage or forming some sort of alliance.
Once "eligible", the wrestler may win the match by retrieving the belt and hanging it on the hook suspended above the ring with the aid of the ladders. An official maintains possession of the belt and circles the ring, staying out of the action as much as possible. When a wrestler wishes to hang the belt, he must retrieve it from the official. Once the belt is in play, any other wrestler who is eligible may attempt to steal the belt and hang it. Once the belt has been dropped and no wrestler is attempting to hang it, a referee returns the belt to the official.
The matchup is similar to the more common ladder match, which has the belt suspended above the ring and the winner is the one who retrieves it with the use of a ladder. The King of the Mountain match is considered backwards in nature to the ladder match, as the competitors attempt to hang the belt instead of retrieving it.
No Ropes, No DQ Match: One of the more dangerous match types in CWL. The name is quite literal as there are no ring ropes at all and absolutely no disqualifications at all. Every part of the ring is still set up just the same minus the ring ropes. Can you overcome the fear of a straight fall on your way to victory??
La Jaula De Terror: A multi-man Steel Cage Match where the last man left inside will be unmasked or shaved bald. You must always watch your back in this match as you never know when someone will come at you, even if its your own partner. They may sell you out to save themselves.
Loser Revives Survival Elimination Match: This match is a multiman tag team match. Eliminations occur via pinfall, submission, or ring out. There is a twist however if you can eliminate a member from the other team you can "Revive" one of your eliminated partners back into the match. The first team to completely eliminate the other shall be declared the winner.
Nagoya Elimination Match: This match is very similar to our Naniwa style elimination match, but has a few differences. Each team will select 1 member to start the match. The remaining participants will draw numbers to determine the order they enter. This differs from Naniwa rules in that the teams will not alternate, and instead can field consecutive entries. Prior to all 8 participants entering, eliminations can occur via pinfall, submission, & over the top rope. Once all have entered the over the top rope eliminations will be removed, changing to pin and submission only.
