Yes, you read that right. Although I'm not asking about you specifically as a fan. I'm asking what would change about the Marauders if your Canon Character wasn't a part of the 1970s.
Take the parts that you play and try to imagine the Marauders totally and completely without any influence from your character, everything else remaining basically the same.
Say, the Marauders if Remus hadn't been allowed to go to school at all, or if Peter was never born. If Sirius and James never met or knew of the other's existence. Even characters like Mr. Zonko could be proven needed if what happened would not have happened if he didn't have a store there. Or someone like Bellatrix--if she wasn't there, would Sirius view his family the same and be willing to part with them for James's ideals?
I will keep myself busy with Peter and Lily, and hope to see someone else join in. If we get enough characters up, I will lead it into a discussion about whether or not our characters would react in the proposed way.
What would the Marauders be like without you?

If Peter Pettigrew had absolutely no influence towards the Marauders...
Let's pretend that Peter's a squib; that would be enough to take him out of the lives of the other Marauders.
The main change I see would be that James and Sirius would feel less of a need to include Remus in anything that they get up to. Therefore, Remus would stay by himself and never discover the loyal friends under his nose. James and Sirius would go off by themselves and never, or hardly ever, include Remus in their plans. James and Sirius would never look past the end of their own noses to find out the reasons for his disappearances. Remus's condition would never get discovered, and there would be no need for James or Sirius to learn how to become Animagi. Remus would have even less control over disciplining his dorm mates for their trouble making.
You get a "Neville, Ron, Harry in first year" type of trio without Peter.
Without Peter there is never the chance for something like Wormtail's betrayal, but I can see how distant the three would become by the end of seventh year. Especially if James managed to mature and get Lily on the same schedule we have now. James would be absorbed in his girlfriend and duties, Sirius would have no one to play with, and Remus would still be by himself, with less ability to trust the other boys.
Without Peter and his hero worship, James and Sirius may have been less openly arrogant, but it would never have stopped the degree of bullying Severus and other Slytherins went through. Peter, however, may have changed the types of pranks James and Sirius focused on. Without him, there may have been a need to go for the most embarrassment rather than the most laughs and take things too far. Lily may have had an earlier relationship with James before either one of them were ready, and broke off the relationship and never looked back.
So, yay! Peter's needed. Even if you dislike him, he still gets James and Sirius to look outside themselves, want to include Remus more, and discover the werewolf's secret. He potentially saved James and Lily's relationship until they were both ready, changed the prank tactics to go for humor more than hurt, and unfortunately, betrayed them all. ^_^

If Lily Evans had absolutely no influence during the Marauder years at all...
So, say Lily's just another Muggle.
No best friend for Snape. There would be no reason for him to pay attention to her, be nice to her, or make friends with her. Snape would be even more of a loner than he already was. There would be no saving grace for Severus, because he wouldn't care for anyone. There would be no one to weigh on his conscience and motivate him to change.
Also, no love interest for James. Therefore, no rivalry between Snape and James, at least over her. James would have no reason to show off or mature beyond what would be normal for him.
The dynamics between the four Marauders would basically stay the same. Peter would still hero-worship James and Sirius, Remus would be a bookworm, and they'd all be up to no good. If Lily wasn't there, though, pranks would go unreprimanded. James and Sirius's big heads would not deflate quite so easily. And it's possible that a number of pranks would have been taken too far and hurt someone severely.
Yay! Lily is definitely needed. ^_^
