Jade's Thoughts and Things
is an electronic journal, usually done on the computer and saved on a thumb drive. As much as she would love to have a paper journal, she can't see the paper and what she is writing. Her computer has Braille to indicate the letters and her printer prints out Braille so that she can read it, as well as print regularly so her instructors can read her homework.
She keeps the thumb drive in a music box that her parents had given her.
The music box is kept on her night stand. It plays "The Magic Flute" by Mozart.
