*Ureshikatta = past tense
I think there are two ways to say 'I am so happy'...
1. Ureshikatta wa! [wa is used informally to emphasis]
2. Hontou ni ureshikatta!

It could also be said as "shiawase datta" --「幸せだった」。Or "shiawase deshita" 「幸せでした」if you wanted to use the polite form.

you can also say よかった (yokatta) which Literally mean "it was good" but in context could mean "I'm so greatful" or "I'm so glad/happy"
