I have been relatively lost in this area. When I look at over all pantheons, I never feel attracted to any one. The only goddess I have ever felt a connection with is Cerridwen. But none of the other Welsh deities, and never with any God. Is there something wrong with this? Or do I just have more investigating to do? Any advice and/or direction would be much appreciated.

Well what pantheons and paths have you looked at? And how did you go about it?

In my opinion, I don't see anything wrong with this. If you don't feel a connection, you don't feel one, and that's probably for a reason. I would say that doing more investigating would probably be a good idea though. But don't try and 'force' a connection. If you don't feel an attraction, then there probably just isn't one. Not to sound sappy, but listen to yourself, and listen to your surroundings. If you already have an attraction to one deity, then you'll known when you have an attraction to another.

There's no requirement to be drawn to a god as well as a goddess. If you're happy with Cerridwen, research Welsh myths, Welsh history and Welsh culture (as much as one can from without).
But I think you should start by working out what it is you're looking for in a faith and then comparing your wants and your current beliefs with what particular cultures hold as beliefs or virtues. If that makes sense.

I'd still like to know how you've gone about things so far. More information helps me give you better advice.

CalledTheRaven Well what pantheons and paths have you looked at? And how did you go about it? I've just been looking into various myths from different cultures. I've looked into Norse myths, Irish, Welsh, Greek, Egyptian, Japanese and African lore to see if I felt drawn to any one in particular. I've also done some meditation, but not a whole lot.

Maybe look at the cultures and beliefs systems and not just the mythologies. The meaning of a myth can change depending on cultural context, and therefore change the perception of the Gods involved. Try looking at things in a new way and see what resonates.
As has been mentioned, there's nothing wrong with having a connection to only one Deity. As long as you recognize how that Deity fits into thier overall cosmology. If you feel a connection to Cerridwen but none of the other Welsh deities, that's fine. Just please honor her in the proper context. Think of her as your patron, don't set her up as an isolated Goddess of whatever. Remember that when you honor her, sometimes you must honor and/or acknowledge others of the pantheon she is a part of. And don't forget the culture of that pantheon.
Other than that, just keep an open mind, spmetimes, someone will decide they have a connection to you and you just have to deal with it. This usually only happens to those of the proper temperament to appreciate that particular diety though.
Also, what African Lore? There's a lot of differnt stuff depending on the area and group it comes from.
