General Character Information

Name: Alaktana Rylinndar

Appearance: Alaktana stands proud at the height of five feet and five inches weighting in just under one hundred sixty pounds. Her face is oval in shape with a soft jawline and high cheekbones. Peering from behind a veil of long, full white lashes are crimson colored eyes that are almond in shape. Resting above her eyes are finely arched white brows. She has a small and narrow nose and sitting beneath are full and supple lips. Framing such features are long locks of white hair streaked with silver that come to a stop at the small of her back.

She is blessed to have perky c-cup sized breasts, a slim yet curvy physic and long shapely legs. Covering her dark skin of soot is a black sleeveless one piece trimmed in white with a long train to trail behind her. The top of the one peace is collared and completely closes around her neck only to open up to expose her cleavage. The fabric itself stretches across the middle of her breasts to cover the rest of it from view and part to expose her washboard abs and closes once again just below her navel. The underside of the train of her attire is white. Shielding her feet from the ground are flats that are black in color.

Hanging down from the collar of her attire and resting on her cleavage is an onyx pendant with a crescent shape. Straddling her waist and hanging down her left side is a silver chain with a medium sized purple gem.

Personality: Going by what one sees on the exterior, one would come to beleive that Alaktana is reserved or emotionless. However, beneath that exterior, Alaktana is vicious, vindictive, very loyal to her adopted family and unforgiving. If you have crossed her or the family that took her in, you and the rest of your kin will pay dearly until your bloodline runs dry.

Background History: Alaktana was born into the lesser noble family Zauiryn and like many children was brought up to be cruel. There were no signs of loving embraces or coddling. In this family, just as in many other drow families this simply would not be tolerated. Strength was an asset that could not be watered down with emotions and that was something else that was beat into her. All in her household carried themselves in such a way where one might think they were nothing but emotionless drone. They did not smile less in the heat of battle or they had come out victorious from a battle. They did not frown when displeased, nor did they give way to expressions of pain, grief or boredom.

While still in her youth this was a hard lesson to learn. Eventually, she got the hang of it and she has the relentless influence of her parents and house members to thank for that. To further gain the approval of her household and to make them proud to have her carry their name, she enlisted herself in the academy with the goal to become a priestess of Lolth. While away in her training to become a high priestess, a house lower in the ranks than Alaktana's attacked her home leaving few survivors. When she received word of this, rage seemed to become one with her and her hard work to reach her goal became that much more diligent.

Not too long after the ordeal, the family of her peer Aunthrae, Rylinndar took in the nobles that survived the battle of Zauiryn's downfall thus creating a bond like no other and a loyalty on Alaktana's part that knew no bounds.

Items: Piwafwi- She has enchanted this cloak to be resistant to ice spells.

Crimson Eye- This is what appears to be an ordinary forehead gem which is crimson in color. This gem has been enchanted and given the ability to sprout wings so that it may reach the desired target. Once it has reached it's target it will embed itself within their forehead and steal their vision, meaning she is able to see what her target see's making it a perfect tool for the purpose of spying. The Crimson Eye is vulnerable to enchanted blades.

If she shares a strong emotional bond or is bound to her target by blood, the radius of it's affects are limitless. It serves as another means of communication via sight. If there is no bond between Alaktana and her target, the radius of it's effect is three hundred feet.

The duration of the effect last up to six hours. Once the allotted time is spent, the gem will return to it's rightful owner. Due to the fact that the drains her mentally substantially, Alaktana will take a minimum of three days to regain her strength before being able to use the gem once again.

The Crimson Eye came into her possession by means of being passed down from one generation to the next. How her family claimed possession is unclear but it is believed that an ancestor on her father's side stole it from the loot of a dragon as a gift to his companion. The gem was given to Alaktana as a rite of passage before leaving for the academy.

Combat

Weaponry: Rapier- Enchanted so that the blade never dulls.

Trident Main Gauche- Enchanted so that the blade never breaks unless struck by a divine blade.

Daylight Pellets

Serpent's Whip- It has an adamantium handle with four snake headed whips.


Skills or Powers: Levitation- This enables her to levitate off of the ground.

Dark Sphere- Like many other drow she is able to summon a sphere of darkness that will blind her enemy.

Faerie Fire- This enables her to create flames of light around an object without hurting it.

Clairvoyance- This enables her to speak with Lolth via telepathy.

Dispel Magic- Using another spell to aid her, she is able to rid herself of spells that were cast on her.

Discern Lie- Using a spell to aid her, she is able to see past one's lie to gain knowledge of the truth. This is a spell she uses often as she holds trust for no one but her adoptive family.

Suggestion- This allows her to direct her concentration on a target and influence their actions and or decisions with her mind.

Spider Summoning- This allows her to call spiders to come to her aid. Through mental guidance she is able to influence where they move and strike.

Kiss of Lolth- This name was chosen specifically by Alaktana herself. During her years in the academy, she exposed herself to an assortment of poisons by bringing them in contact with her lips. Over time she built up a resistance to said poisons however as a result her lips darkened and now look as if they are painted black. If she chooses, she can administer the tasteless and scentless poison to her target via kissing.

Combat Weakness: Speed and agility are very important to Alaktana which is why she has trained herself to use light weight weaponry a good portion of her life. Heavy blades and axes are pretty much useless to her as she does not have the upper body strength to put them to good use.
