I couldn't help but notice that there is an over abondance of teen/adult men/women obsessed with vampires (and werewolves in some cases). With each vampire movie that comes out (ex Twilight) there are more poeple obsessed with them. My best friend hated vampires, books, and ANY realted to the supernatural before Twilight and Supernautral came out. Now all she does is reads/watches ANY vampire book/movie she get her hands onto. She also thinks she's an expert on matters relating to demons/spirits and anything between.
So my question to you good people is this: where do you stand on this topic?

actually, no barely influence my opinions.
and i was the complete opposite. a long time ago i loved vampires, but after Twilight, True Blood, & the up rise of vampires becoming the "new thing" or whatever, I began to lower my interest in vampires. so now, i'm not a fan of them anymore. but i didn't become a hater of them either.

I personally don't really care razz
it's just a fad, like crocks, tekdeck, bob the amazingly small pencile, sillybandz, and all of the other fads, that will eentually die.
As for me, read twilight, meh it was All right, not worth the hype. The only reAL problem I have with it is Vwmpires don't sparkle...
Oh my god I do jump from thought to thought o.o
Ummm... Now I lost my train of thought...
Haha that was funny... And I just forgot what this topic was all about..
Oh yeah, vampires are cool, as long as they don't sparkle.

I do not let tv shows or movies refelct my opionis. i have my own. I read history books and watch shows only about hitsory. my knowledges comes from notes and reaserch. I do watch Ghost hunters but i have my own ideas about most tings they find.
As for this so called vampire craze..it will die out like so many others. Yes some pepole will role play them which is cool, I rp a vampire on yahoo..but I am not a vampire in real life and even my rp vampire dosent do a bunch of amzeing tricks or sparkle. lol

I see. Thank you for all your opinions. I personally do not watch tv that often. I perfer books. When I do watch tv, it's normally extremely violent or whatever the history channel has on. It's not often I watch anything with vampires in it so no. Tv doesn't influence my opinions

T.V. and movies probably do effect my opinions even if I don't realize it. It is all about how things are portrayed.
As far as the vampires go, it is just the current fad. Like a few years ago when pirates became cool. Hopefully it will go away when Hollywood discovers something else.

Vampires are just one of those things that get hyped up now and then, but will never completely go away.
Especially, when they are portrayed as a dark, mysterious romantic. xd
