On my planet, I am an outsider. Nobody wants to talk to me, the freak boy. I mean, who would? I’m nothing like them. Why, you ask? Well, it’s because I have no soul.

In the world of Majikku, every person is unique. When you’re born you are given a special ring called an Enjin. Now, a plain enjin is nothing special. It’s a silver ring with a medium sized circle in the middle. The circle is clear. But when a baby is born, they take a plain and empty enjin and place it on the baby’s tiny finger. Inside of the circle, colors spin and begin to twirl. Thousands of colors pop up inside of the clear surface and seem to dance in the small space. And then, one color settles in the ring and stays. That one color can change a person’s life. That one color inside of that little circle holds the future of the person inside of it. You see, each person has a different color inside of their enjin. The only person who has the same exact color inside of their ring is destined to be your soulmate. Most people spend their lives trying to find the person with their color ring. But other believes that if that person is truly to be their soulmate, they will come upon each other by chance. By destiny. But my question to you is…what if your enjin never gets a color? Does that mean you don’t have a soul? That is what some believe. But what is the truth? I plan to find out.
