I get when a sim is in a rush, running late, or really needs a need taken care of- they run.
But every single one of my sims in my household runs EVERYWHERE. As in, when they wake up and have to go to the kitchen to make breakfast, they run. When she wants to go play catch with her son, they both run. When they want to rush TV, it's a race to the couch.
All of my sims in that household do it. I don't see any other sims from any other households do it, besides this one. All of their traits I have used before, and I'm 100% sure it has nothing to do with their traits or the time things are taken in.
Can anyone explain this to me?

Have you checked the top left option if you're in Sims 3? You can set the speed to run/walk.

I have Sims who run everywhere as well!

Is this sims3? You could try the resetsim cheat. That might not work though. It didn't when my entire neighbourhood started running all the time. That was AwesomeMod that caused that though.

Yeaaa... I couldn't find that sim speed option in any of the option menus. And I tried the reset sim cheat, and it didn't do the trick. I got too frustrated so I killed them off. XD Horrible, I know, I should have "solved the problem", but it's all too easy to just kill them.
Anyways, thanks for the help! Hopefully it doesn't happen again. >.>

That IS odd. Hm. I've seen it in one of my sim's kids, but never have I seen it in an adult sim.

Its a glitch from ambition
when you play tag your sims get this glitch
I been avoiding tag now and no running sims

Thanks alot! =) I'm glad I now know not to play tag anymore with the parents and kids. Perhaps a good game on the TV or something instead? Haha.

I've noticed this now in my game. Avoiding playing tag isn't much of an option though as I've seen NPC Sims playing tag with each other in the streets on their own.

Yes my sim self and her newly adopted daughters snicker and doodle were caught playing tag when i was not paying attention.
so I now have a running gammy snoodle.
