This is where it all begins. In the mountains high over the city resides the well hidden property of the Assassin's Club, all started by a man seeking revenge and justice for crimes that go unpunnished.

Robert Fledging had just finished his morning exercises, which usually lasted at least three hours. He wiped the sweat from his forehead as he headed back to his house on the grounds. Sure is a hot day today. I'm sure the group will be especially glad today that assignments are only completed at night.
Andrea Barley and been practicing her stealth by stalking Robert all morning. He still hadn't noticed her. She watched him from a tree branch, her blonde hair tied back in a tight ponytail. Well good thing even the teacher doesn't notice me. Hehe.
She crawled along tree limbs and jumped into the next tree without rustling many leaves. Robert finally cracked a smile though, showing he knew she was there. She relunctantly climbed down and joined him on the path towards home and refreshments.

Kinichi had woken up late that morning due to his mission late last night. The first thing he did when he got up though was sharpen his knives. It was a bit of a routine to him and it always had to be done after a mission. Finally, he was finished and took off where breakfast was usually served much later than he usually got there. When it came to training, he was often late. He sighed once he arrived, his stomach grateful to be getting some 'reward' for the job his body took on the night before.

Robert decided to go to breakfast and headed for the dining hall where their hired personal chef fixed high protein meals every day.
Andrea raced him to the hall and could smell the fresh eggs and bacon from 100 feet away. She was first in line to dish some up for herself, and she was glad she beat Robert this time.
Robert, slightly embarrassed, also grabbed a plate and put a heaping pile of eggs on his plate, along with some cooked ham and an orange. They sat at the large dining room table and dug in.

Kinichi sighed, the dining hall was so full and his stomach was so empty. His gaze traveled around the dining hall looking for the line that was the shortest so he could grab something small first then go back up when the lines cleared up a bit. He felt his stomach lurch at the thought of the health foods served. Man, what he wouldn't give for a big, juicy burger. But ah well, he was being fed so beggars can't be choosers he supposed. His travelling gaze stopped at a girl standing at the front and he let out a jealous huff at how she was already getting her food.

((It's ok, I was wondering what happened to you though... I was fearing you'd totally forgotten about this rp...))
Andrea finished her favorite rice with a sunnyside up egg quicker than usual, but enjoyed it nonetheless. She gazed around the room, glad she was among the elite and could dine with the head of the group.
"So Robert, what's your plan for my next mission?" Andrea asked when she saw he was almost finished.
Robert sat thoughtfully chewing his last piece of ham before answering.
"I might have you join me on a special mission, but first I want you to start mingling with your peers, I don't want you to be estranged and known as the 'Boss's favorite' or whatever they might come up with," he explained.
"Alright, but what's this special mission?" Andrea asked earnestly.
"That is something I can't tell you until you've already mingled and have a few more friends among the other assassins. So for today, just keep that as your mission," Robert said, getting up from his breakfast and heading towards the exit.
Andrea sighed, her annoyance showing. But Robert was right. She didn't want to become a hated figure in the group, so she should go and meet other people. But where to start?

*No need to worry! I finally have my laptop so I should be able to update more frequently biggrin *
After finally getting his lunch, Kinichi made his way to one of the tables further back since he didn't want to deal with people knocking over his food. He stared down at his food as if it were some sacred being and decided to start with the eggs since it was the closest thing to chicken. "Mmm," he moaned with a mouthful of eggs. It was absolutely delicious!

Andrea went over to an interesting looking guy who had just sat down with his food.
"Hello, I'm Andrea, what's your name?" She asked as she sat down, then looked a little embarrassed when she realized he had just taken a huge bite of his eggs.
Robert watched from afar as one of his favorite students went off on her own. He did find her kind of attractive, but he wasn't sure if that was the sort of relationship he should get into, especially in this business among so many top rate killers. And her getting friendly with the other assassins wouldn't help if he were to make a move on her either, if one of them liked her too.
He had never been particularly good at this game, despite his good looks and manners. He decided to wait and see what happened as things progressed. Robert got up and went back to his house on the property to go draw up the plans for the next few missions.

Kinichi stared at the girl, blinked a few times and realized that yes, she was indeed talking to him. 'Oh,' he thought, swallowing his last mouthful of eggs and before taking another bite said, "I'm Kinichi. Nice to meet you." He remembered seeing her with Robert, aka his boss, earlier.

"So what's your specialty Kinichi? And would you like to practice together later?" Andrea asked straightforwardly. She leaned in casually with her elbow on the table and hand fisted under her chin.
Robert followed the familiar path to his home, and when he neared it he heard a peculiar noise. He jumped back and behind a tree just in time to escape a small explosion by the path. He peeked from behind the tree and saw it had been a buried bomb, complete with nails embedded in it from what he could tell, since the trees around the explosion were now covered with nails. The explosion had sounded loud to him, but probably sounded more like a gunshot to the people inside the cafeteria, and there was always weapons being fired on the grounds, so it wouldn't have seemed out of the ordinary to anyone.
Dang, who would've done this? Apparently someone has infiltrated the grounds, an enemy of some sort. But is it one of the assassins, or an outsider that made it inside?

Kinichi was a little surprised, but not in a bad way. He wasn't exactly used to talking to people here, so he supposed it was a good thing that Andrea was straight-forward. "Throwing knives, how about you? And sure I don't mind practicing later," he said, all the while getting up to throw out his eggs. 'Reminder, on the next mission, buy a cheeseburger..' he thought bitterly.

"I'm best at being stealthy... and use of any small weapons that are easy to carry..." Andrea replied, watching as her new practice buddy threw out perfectly good food.
"When would you like to start practicing?" she asked, hoping the answer was not anytime soon, she preferred having at least an hour to digest her food.
