(Sorry guys, I had no idea where else I could put this...)

I...I think I'm going to cry. I finally bought my own copy of L4D2 for the PC. I was so excited to take it home and play it....I was VERY happy and then out of no where it freezes up while I'm playing single player. It doesn't have a certain spot it stops. It's all at random. The screen just goes black and you can hear the game skipping somewhere in the darkness. I restart the computer three times.

We tired all of the tricks to fixing it that I've seen so far.
Deleting the files “left 4 dead 2 client.ncf” and “left 4 dead 2 common.ncf” and restarting Steam and then reinstalling L4D2.
I even installed NVIDIA beta driver version 195.39.


Why does the Gaming god hate me?
Is there any OTHER way of trying to fix my random freezing before I pull all of my hair out and jump off a roof?
