We need the sonic type. We already have tons of moves to become sonic, like how Bite became a dark move, and tons of potentially sonic pokemon! Seen below.  , , , , Now Xatu needs an evo, so make it a sonic typed evo! Also, those Lake Guardians used Uproar so effing much, they deserve to be sonic typed.

Chia-Purin What would their weakness be? o: idk, I haven't been able to figure out the whole weakness thing since first gen, I have to use Bulbapedia nowadays, so whatever is balanced would be its weakness

How about this? Sonic Super effective vs. Rock, ice, Normal/Fighting/Psychic. (sound can pulverize solid objects and even rupture organs, also make one lose concentration.) Not very effective/Weak against vs. Steel, bug (Metal resonance, some bugs communicate with sound) Edit: This too. felinoel Make them weak against theirself, like dragons and like real life because they use sonic waves to make quiet vacuum cleaners
