Anywho, I've been reading on Canada stuff lately, and have become increasingly interested in the 'Quebec Question' so to say.
I'm from Alberta, where I don't see what the big deal is. [heck Alberta has it's on isolation issues OTL]
Discussing things with my friend, he mentioned that his Quebec friend, was treated like a second class citizen when he left Quebec. I was all 'this still happens?'
So basically, does this type of abominable behaviour still go on? Is it isolated?
Do you think realistically Quebec would separate? Why are they separating at all?
AND Is this just residual crap from our British/French heritage that we are forced to deal with?
I personally would deplore Canada breaking up, since I love the place so much.
And the idea of having Quebec leave makes my tummy go into knots and my face to frown. Intensely.
And please move this to the right forum if this isn't it..
