Regardless of her uncle's current sickness, Adelle By'arre had the same bright smile on her face as she carried the lunch basket up to the Facility. Like her mother, she'd never found reason to have anything wrong with this place and therefore wasn't necessarily unhappy about being there. Rather, she was actually excited for today, considering that she was going to be able to meet her uncle's boyfriend and judge what he looked like and whether or not Lira was prettier; though, she probably was. Stupid Aludra and his choosing this 'Aden' person instead. Especially since he worked at the Facility, and she could have sworn that Aludra hated it there! Silly, silly Aludra~
She waited, bouncing, at the gate until someone opened it for her, at which point she gave them a quick 'thank you' and continued through, looking around with wide eyes. She didn't come to the Facility a lot, really. The most recent time... she was pretty sure that was when she'd come to see Jhordaesaloria and Polondraeli with Fitzroy. Right. With the cutest smile she knew how to make, the metal-winged child stepped up to the front desk at the Facility, placing the basket of foods and such on top of the counter, directing her smile at the person behind it. "Hi! Um, I'm here to bring this foodstuffs to Aden, 'cause his boyfriend is all sick and Grandpa won't let him go out because he's been throwing up 'n' stuff. He said it was no big deal, but he can't really walk real far without runnin' back to the bathroom anyways. So! I need to know where Aden is so I can bring him his lunchies~"
The person behind the counter starred for a moment at the girl before blinking a couple times, well that was unexpected and rather long winded for a greeting. He blinked as his attention dropped down to the thing placed before him on the counter and he nodded, "I see, I can drop it off with him if you like." He said, as he picked it up, "Unless your wanting to bring it to him yourself?" Given the age of the girl he doubted that the Doctor would have much interest in her which was likely a good thing. Last thing that guy needed was another relationship with another spawn.
Adelle's wrapped wings perked up in surprise when the male behind the counter took the food, as though she was concerned that he was suddenly going to just devour the entire thing, though she was pretty sure that wasn't the case. Regardless, she stood up on her tiptoes to hold onto the bottom of the basket just in case, causing her to lean slightly against the counter, making Sutry thrash angrily and pointlessly against the hard, smooth surface. Because he was definitely going to make a difference, of course. She frowned softly, thinking it over and fluttering gently. Well, she was going to meet her friends at the swing club for lunch... and it had taken her longer than she'd thought to run all the way out here... almost so long that if she took much longer she would have to take the bus to the club, or ask her mom for a ride.
Finally, she smiled brightly and released the basket. "Alrighty, it's okay, I'll let you take it to him. BUT if you do, that means that you have to get me a picture of him, too," she said very sternly, shaking her finger gently at the man before she dug through her pockets aimlessly before tearing a small corner of a piece of paper on the counter and stealing a pen, writing her cell phone number on it. This, she thrust at the male, that serious pout stuck to her face. "There. You need to get a picture of him with somebody's phone or something if you don't have one, or maybe his if he has one, or maybe someone else's, but whatever. You need to get a picture of him with a fancy camera phone and you NEED to send it to that number right there or else I'll be upset with you and I'll let Sutry smack at you - and he's pretty strong, so it kinda hurts if he gets close enough," she said, as though this was a very good threat, nodding firmly. Of course, once this business was done, she smiled very brightly once again. "MmKay, but that's all! Byebye, nice to meet you, thanks for giving Aden lunchies~!!" Adelle called happily over her shoulder, a smile on her face as she skipped gaily right back out the door.
The guy behind the desk looked at the angry little tentacles before slowly giving a nod, "I suppose I can see about trying to send a picture your way of the Doctor." He said, wondering what it was with spawn and the fascination for that flirt. It really was beyond his understanding though he supposed that it might have something to do with the fact that the guy could actually deal with the spawn in such a manner? He couldn't think of many others among the staff that did terribly much with them let along talking with them, flirting with them, or sleeping with them from what the rumors said.
"If I can get one it will be sent to you straight away." He said as he picked up the basket and rose to his feet, he would deliver the good smelling food in hopes that Aden would share the bounty.
*****
Down the street and around the corner from the Labs were two figures, one of them was a short but pretty woman who a very soft, motherly look to her, while the other one was a cloaked figure who was only a few inches taller then she was. The two of them were caught up in a quiet conversation with one another about the next step in their journey. The one hiding under the hood seemed adamant about not wanting to go on alone, fearing the last leg of the journey as he knew it was this last section of road that stood between him and what was within the Labs. He knew that he would be safe there from his past but at the same time once he was there he would also be signing himself up for a rather strange sort of life that involved him having... children. If nothing else at least it wasn't a literal thing. He'd once heard rumor of a male angel that had carried children and it was far from anything that he ever wanted to do himself, he was glad that it was just bored whispers between the prison guards back home.
As it was he would likely prefer to deal with all of the demons of Hell, or those living in this place he was preparing himself to go to, instead of having to go home or having to deal with those that lived where he used to live. He gave a soft snort before he turned his attention back to the woman, "I can't make it on my own." He whispered.
"You will do fine, Sparrow. You just need to be brave is all, I have already told you that my son doesn't want me visiting him at work anymore and I am sure that even if I were to bring you to introduce you first hand he would still be upset that I wandered into his precious Labs." She said in a gentle manner, one hand lifting to take that of her son. There was the soft clinking of the metal that was still hanging from his wrist and she gave a little wince, "I am sure he will be able to help you with that." She said in a soothing manner, feeling such guilt seeing such a thing dangling around the wrist of her child.
Sparrow hid his arm deeper in the cloak, "Its nothing to worry about... even if its never removed I am at least free of the place, even if the memories haunt me."
Adelle skipped happily away from the Facility, glad to have fulfilled her mission for that day, humming a badly-tuned melody under her breath. She waited only a moment for someone to come and unlock the gate for her before continuing on her merry way, though with a bit less of a bounce in her step. After all, as much as she liked attention, she'd been attracting some of the more negative variety from strangers recently. She folded her wings to try and keep them away from other people, playing with Kammy to keep him occupied.
But of course the two figures walking the other way attracted her attention. Not that she let them know that, at least for the moment. Instead, she continued on her way, looking to all the world like she hadn't noticed people going into the Facility - a rare enough occurrence that assured them being interesting. She continued walking for a little bit, but soon-after switched and began walking backwards, listening with pointed ears to their conversation, oblivious to the fact that she was eavesdropping and eavesdropping was usually bad.
The pair seemed to pause at once in their discussion before both turned to look over their shoulders at the girl that was following them. The one in the cloak didn't seem nearly as interested as the matronly woman did as she turned all the way around, a happy sound escaping her throat, "Oh! Look! Its another of the babies!" Sheikinah said to her companion who was starring in silence at the metal winged preteen. She was an interesting looking thing and proof of what he was getting into Sparrow thought to himself but said nothing more on the matter leaving the Earth Mother to her chatting knowing she didn't get out as much as she would like for visiting.
Adelle, her usual absent-minded self, was too busy listening to the conversation -however paused- to notice that the footsteps had stopped, still trying to hear any voices around. This, of course, resulted in her running right smack into both of them, squeaking and spinning around with the largest 'I'm-completely-and-totally-innocent' smile that she could manage. That left her face to be replaced with a more confused look. She grinned when she realized what the woman was speaking of, standing up straighter and stretching her limbs in a show-offy manner. "Yup, I am!!" she said happily, flapping a bit in her joy. "'N what's even cooler, 'least my mommy says so, is that I was the VERY first kid that a spawn has ever actually given birth to!! My half-brother Iah was either before or after, but his mommy's actually a daddy, so he had to get all cut open across his belly for Iah to get taken out," he rambled expressively, glad that these people weren't mad about her interrupting and not noticing as the cloaked one walked off. "Sososo, what're you doin' here? Like, are you gon'na work here or, or get a kid or what?"
Sheikinah shook her head, "No, though a lot of my children are at working at this place." She said, glancing down the road to where it was. She lifted a hand to motion at the cloaked figure, "I am bringing my son here for work as well, what brought you to this place today? Did you perhaps see any of my children?" She asked, curiously. She knew from what she'd learned that on occasion the spawn came to meet with their parents.
Adelle tipped her head, a little confused. Though, well, she supposed that made sense. Did that mean that a bunch of the people who worked in Seven of Seven were, like, siblings? Huh. How weird. But then, what was she doing here? Oh! Duh!! She was probably coming to bring them lunch!! Wait- No, that didn't make sense, she didn't have anything with her. Well... maybe she was there to make them lunch? Eh, that made enough sense to her. Sure, she would guess that was it. "U-um, I don't think that I did. I was here 'cause my uncle's really, really, like, puking-sick, and his boyfriend works here, too, but I dun'no if his boyfriend's is one of your kids, too. Anyways, Aludra usually brings him food, but since he was so sick, he couldn't bring it today, so he asked me to do it! I was gon'na go all the way there, but I have stuff to do kinda-sorta soonish, so I decided that I wouldn't actually go and let a guy at the front desk take it to him. I really hope that he actually takes it to him, though. And that he sends me a picture 'cause I reeeaaally wanted to see what he looked like!" She paused for a moment before squeaking suddenly, jamming her hand out toward the woman. "Oh!! My name is Adelle Mariana By'arre, by-the-way. It's nice t'meet you."
Sheikinah couldn't help but to chuckle, such an enthusiastic girl she thought to herself before she reached out to take her hand, giving it a gentle shake and there would be a rather comfortable feeling that would go through Adelle like that one got when being held within the loving arms of a mother, "I am called Sheikinah, my quiet son over there is now called Sparrow." She murmured, nudging him.
The cloaked figure reached out to offer Adelle one of his strangely colored hands, it bore spotting on it that made it look almost as though there were scales there but looking closely or touching it would reveal it to be just skin coloration.
Adelle shook the woman's hand less roughly than she would have on any other day, a perplexed looking crossing her dual-colored face as she glanced down at their hands, tipping her head softly. Huh... that was weird. She didn't usually feel like that when she just shook someone's hand. Or, y'know, most of the time. She looked back up at the woman and gave her a sweet, very [for once] genuine smile. "That's weird... feels like I know you somewhere," she replied happily, letting her eyes travel to the male who was beside her new friend. The coloration of the hand only caught her interest even more as she took it, shaking for a moment before tugging it unabashedly toward herself, inspecting it more closely before smiling up even brighter at Sparrow with a sense of camaraderie. "You're like me, huh Sparrow? Or... well... y'know, different like me... though probably not in the same way," she ranted just a bit, blushing softly and giving Sparrow a smile. "What are you going to do at the labs?"
Sheikinah smiled, "Well, I am your mother's mother after all." She said in a gentle manner, then smiled and watched the manner in which Adelle treated Sparrow but didn't go to his rescue. He would need to learn to deal with the closeness and touching of others given where he was going, "Sparrow is going to become a Daddy himself soon, aren't you, Love? Hes such a good son, giving me more children to look after."
One couldn't see it but Sparrow was blushing vividly under his hood, giving a little cough, "Not exactly having them, Earth Mother." He murmured to Sheikinah then looked at the girl once more from the shadows of the hood that were protecting his sensitive eyes, "Though its somewhat close to the truth."
"Mother's... mother?" Adelle murmured to herself, tipping her head once more. That meant... that she was J'her? No, wait, that didn't seem quite right. Well, maybe Polondraeli. But Polly was different. Polly was an angel, and looked different. Did she mean mother's mother's mother, the- Did that mean- she was...?! Adelle gasped softly and jumped back a bit, releasing Sparrow's hand and looking between the two people with wide brown eyes. "Oh my Gooo- goodness!! Y-you're... you're an angel?!" she questioned Sparrow in what was almost a hushed exclamation, fluttering her wrapped wings in great surprise. "A-and you're..." she looked up at Sheikinah in awe, wings drooping as she blushed rather heavily. "Wow..." she murmured, chuckling and rubbing at the back of her neck in embarrassment. "S-sorry. I just... wasn't expecting you to be, y'know... so... not-just-human-or-spawn-people."
Sheikinah nodded, "You are one of J'her's daughters aren't you?" She asked, curiously. She did have the features of that particular daughter of hers, she had never run across a second generation spawn before so ended up assuming that was what Adelle was. At the girl's sudden, startled, reaction she gave her a gentle sort of smile, "You would have no way of knowing who we are, please don't fret."
Sparrow watched her quietly as she pulled away in such a manner before looking over at the older woman but said nothing more, leaving his Mother to her conversations.
Adelle smiled sheepishly, her tentacles even displaying how abashed the girl was to have been so brazen to a pair of such important people. "Well... sort of. I'm her grand-daughter, actually," she corrected gently with a smile, folding her previously extended wings against her back once again. "A-alright. I won't then~ Sorry that I kinda... jumped like that. I'm easily excited. A lot." Brown eyes shifted to Sparrow and she dipped down a bit, peering up at him in an attempt to see his face under that loose hood that he was using to cover it. Hand laced behind her back, she wiggled a bit and smiled at the seemingly shy male as confidently and reassuringly as she knew how. "I'm sorry to you, too, Sparrow." With that, she stood back up and looked between the two of them, wiggling a bit. "Well... um... I guess I should go then. Unless you want someone to walk you up to the Facility? Well, no, that's stupid - your children work here after all, I'm sure that you know everything about it. It was nice meeting you both, though. I-I hope I see you again, Sparrow."
Sheikinah seemed to think about it for a moment then nodded her head as she reached out to take Adelle's hand in hers, "That is a wonderful idea!" She said, reaching over to take hold of Sparrow's hand as well, putting them together so the two could hold onto one another, "Adelle can you walk Sparrow inside? Make sure that he makes it in to someone trustable who can bring him to see Vampy? I promised my son I wouldn't visit him at work anymore and I don't want to break that promise."
She then turned to look at Sparrow under his hood, "You still have the note we wrote together, right? Just show that to him when you get there. I assure you that things are going to be alright so long as you behave yourself. No causing trouble or drawing attention to yourself either."
Sparrow looked more then a little uncertain as he was placed in the care of an excitable little girl but slowly nodded his head, deciding that there were worse people in the world to have to cross paths with.
Adelle jumped slightly when her hand was suddenly taken hold of, staring a little blankly as it was placed in Sparrow's, not quite knowing what the woman meant was a wonderful idea. Regardless, she held onto Sparrow's hand in a relaxed grip, watching the woman through her bright brown eyes. When she finally caught on to what was being implied, she grinned brightly, flapping her metallic wings.
"Oh!! Alright, I can do that, then!" she replied in excitement, glad that she was going to be of use to the interesting boy and J'her's -and apparently Vampy's?- mother. As Sheikinah spoke to Sparrow, Kammy busied himself with doing the best that he could to give the cloaked figure a small hug before simply grabbing onto a part of his cloak happily, butting gently against his side in a sweet, happy way.
"I'll take good care of your son, Miss Sheikinah, I promise," Adelle said sweetly, smiling brightly at the woman, even the rarely-happy tentacle Sutry reaching out for attention from the woman before Adelle was busy leading her new charge up toward the Facility, smiling up at him brightly. "So... so you're one of the new angels, then...?" she asked in what was a hushed sort-of voice, as though afraid that there were passer-bys that would actually hear her.
Sparrow looked down at the tentacle that was grasping at his cloak, his free hand lifting to touch it in a manner that seemed almost curious. There was the slight jingling of chain as he moved that art giving away the fact that one of his hands was still held by a shackle, "I... yes, much to my own shame." He murmured, while he had no desire to fall or break any of the rules his sort of angel was to follow it didn't mean that he had to be a fan of the rest of his brethren. Sheikinah was different because she was special and this girl had demon blood in her veins which made her rank higher in his mind then his brothers and sister, "I am an angel even if those I shared a home with didn't wish to believe it."
He shouldn't be such a downer he told himself, he was walking with a child after all and it wasn't as though she knew what had happened to him, "Is it a far walk to the Labs?" He asked of her.
The little tentacle seemed quite excited with the attention, letting go of the cloak to nuzzle against Sparrow's strangely colored hand, happy to have someone's focus on him instead of... whatever else it would be on. Usually Adelle. Speaking of whom, the girl did notice the sound of the shackle on the angel's wrist, glancing down and looking at it quizzically for a moment before his attention was adjusted to return to Sparrow's face instead of his arm. Silly girl, being rude and all of that.
She blinked, perplexed at how anyone could find something like that to be something to be ashamed about. Her wings fluttered once again as she listened to the rest of what was said, pouting gently at the idea that he was mistreated for such a thing. "That's silly," she commented, shaking her head. "I don't think that people should be treated different no matter what they are, angel or demon or hybrid or anything else," she stated matter-of-factly, giving a firm nod of her head to make this assured. The following question seemed to catch her off guard as they reached the gate.
"The Faci- oh! Yeah! It's just up past this gate-thing. See? It's the place that looks like a church!" she said happily, pointing between the bars before she tried once again to get someone's attention.
There was a somewhat scruffy looking man sitting on the front steps of the Labs, smoking a cigarette and eating from the container of food that Adelle had brought in earlier, looking quite blissful over the fact that he was allowed such a tasty meal though a little saddened by the fact that his Alulu was sick. A part of him wanted to go and check up on him... though there was the problem with knowing where he was. On top of that there was the problem of being so swamped with work that he couldn't leave if he wanted to... and add in that little monster of a son that Vampy had so kindly dropped into his lap. Said was racing around the fenced in yard of the Labs basically without supervision while Aden ate his lunch.
Outside the gate Sparrow looked inside at the building in an uncertain manner before he looked over at Adelle, "It is very kind of you to think such a thing." He murmured, that no matter what they should all be treated the same, "That is what the Earth Mother believes as well... though she was banished for her thinking." He added, giving a shrug before he found himself starring at first the man in the lab coat and then to the weird, brightly coloring being that raced passed.
Adelle smiled up at Sparrow, but that smile completely vanished at the thought of someone being banished from ANYWHERE for thinking such a thing. Outraged, the female was failing to pay enough attention to the Facility to notice the man she'd wanted so much to see was now in plain view, more worked up over this than she tended to get on a regular basis. If ever, that was.
She stomped to express herself, hands balling into fists as she pouted angrily at the ground. "That's- that's so- that's so STUPID!!" she squealed, no longer holding onto Sparrow, though Kammy was now clinging tightly to his hand for comfort against the strange sight that was an angry Adelle, her wings puffed up as best as they could be without feathers. "How could anyone get in trouble for thinking like that?! That's- that should be the BEST way to think, not a way that you can get in trouble!! That's how it is in SCHOOL, for Pete's sake!!" she ranted to herself, fuming for a few more moments before slumping against the gates with a frown still on her face, arms folded across her chest, Kammy unintentionally pulling Sparrow closer simply because of how short the little tentacle was.
Sparrow looked a little surprised at the girl who was getting angry for the sake of his Mother and he smiled, "You are a very nice girl." He murmured, to her before he was suddenly tugged closer to by the short tentacle the girl possessed and his cheeks colored a bit, "Ahh... well you must understand that many of my... brethren thing that demons are evil and beyond redemption while my Mother sees them and the demons both as her children."
He looked passed her and he gave a little flinch, showing a touch of worry, as the many in the white coat seemed to notice them and was watching toward the door. The moment he started their way the brightly colored toddler was attacking the meal that was left behind, all but inhaling it.
The girl glanced up when she was called nice, giving a large, toothy smile in response as her face colored faintly. "Well, it's true. I don't think that people should ever be treated differently just 'cause of things like that. Like... like I didn't CHOOSE to be part lust, but just 'cause I am doesn't mean I'm worse than anybody else. Same with my friend Fitzroy; he's not bad just 'cause he can't help eating lots and lots of food."
She smiled brightly, still leaning against the gate and thus unable to see the man approaching them, leaning a bit more against the bars before pushing herself up and off. "My Mama and Uncle 'Ludra think the same way, too. In FACT, Aludra's gon'na give up his most favorite thing EVER to set his demon-father free, just 'cause he understands how he works real well and feels bad 'cause, um, he's greed, right? So he misses all the things he was taken away from and Aludra really wants him to be able to have them back and-
"OHMYGODIT'SYOU!!" she squealed, having finally turned around to see all of what was behind the gate, putting it together quickly [especially for her], and finding herself extremely excited, bouncing up and down happily. "You're- you're Aden, right?! OhmyGod, I can't believe that I actually get to meet you after all!!" she said happily, giggling and clapping her hands as Kammy continued to cling to Sparrow, surely a bit afraid of his host's celebrity-worship enthusiasm over meeting this man.
Aden gazed down at the girl that was squealing over him as though he were some sort of movie star and he couldn't help but to give a rather bright smile, "Yes, I can't believe it either." He murmured as he unlocked the gate for her, "May I ask the name of my biggest fan?" He asked of the girl, giving her a glance before his eyes went up to the cloaked figure to try to decide who he was... the cloak was a little suspicious but he didn't think that the person was a danger given he was with such a sweet girl.
Adelle bounced at the smile that was returned, the energy she'd inherited from Polondraeli coursing through her at full-throttle. She giggled at being called his biggest fan, sticking her tongue out teasingly. "Nah, I think I know somebody who's a bigger fan. I'm Adelle Mariana By'arre~ You're dating my Uncle Aludra, right?" she asked happily, as though making sure that Aludra wasn't lying [though she was pretty sure humility kids didn't do that a lot].
"Oh!" she said suddenly, seeing Aden's interest turn to Sparrow. "This is Sparrow. Umm... he's important and Vampy's mom said that he needs to be taken to Vampy. My job is to find him somebody to do that who works here, but I wouldn't mind doing it if I couldn't find anybody. I did find you, though, and I wouldn't want to interrupt your lunch, but it looks like somebody already did that," she said with a hesitant giggle, glancing at the little boy who'd just devoured the meal that her granddad had prepared without even taking a moment to breathe.
Aden seemed to perk up that much more at mention of Aludra, "Yes. So your Alulu's niece, huh? Its nice to meet you then Adelle." He said, giving a smile before asking, "How is he doing? I was told that he was ill and couldn't come in to meet with me today." He gave a little pout at that, he'd likely gotten to used to the daily visits.
He turned his attention to Sparrow once more before giving a smile, "Sparrow, huh? You actually want to meet with Vampy? Your a brave man. I can bring you to see him if you like since we are such good friends." He chuckled at that, as much as he annoyed the ever living Hell out of his Boss he had to be pleased with the fact that he was useful enough that the man didn't smite him where he stood most days.
Adelle grinned, wiggling happily at how obvious it was that Aden liked her uncle. "It's nice t'meet you, too, Aden," she replied sweetly, flipping out her phone with a bit of a wicked smile on her face. "You don't mind if I take a picture or two, right? Just to prove that Alulu actually has a boyfriend," she said in a teasing tone of voice, but patient enough to at least try to wait for an answer before just taking a ton and a half pictures of the doctor.
"Hm? Oh, yeah. He's got some kind'a stomach bug. Grandpa says it's 'cause he's been eating meat lately and his system's not used to it or somethin', but I think he's just sick and Grandpa thinks 'bout weird bass-ackwards health things way too much," she said, phone dropping a bit before she grinned, a deal popping to mind. "Y'know, if you'd let me steal some pictures I could loan you my phone and let you call him for a bit. Or give you his phone number if you have your own," she said with a smile and a bit of a shrug, Kammy's grip tightening a bit on Sparrow's cloak when Aden said he would take him to Vampy. But- but- but he didn't want to lose his friend!!
Aden was surprised by the first post before he set to smiling and posing for the rest of them, "I don't mind so much you having proof of my existence, though I am curious who doesn't believe I am real?" He was curious but he supposed telling someone that they had a boyfriend who was a Doctor was likely a common story when you were making up the perfect partner.
He looked a little worried, "I hope that he is alright." He murmured, hoping that his influence on the spawn wasn't making him ill. Between the smoking and the eating of meet he was surprised that Alulu's parent wasn't coming down here to kick his a** for being a rather bad influence as well as a somewhat bad Doctor as well, "I would like very much to have his number if you could give me that."
Sparrow lowered a hand down to stroke his hand over the little tentacle that was holding onto him as though to sooth it, "Its alright." He tried to assure it before looking over to look at the man that would be bringing him to meet with the one that was called Vampy that his Mother was directing him. He was eager to get to talking with him, eager to be able to settle into this place where he could be left alone for the most part aside from what was needed up him when it came to the experiments they did here.
Adelle laughed a bit as she snapped pictures of the amusingly posed doctor, smiling to herself as she did so. "Well, not, like... like, some of them believe that you exist, but they want to see for yourself. And then there's Grandpa Silas, who actually doesn't believe that you exist 'cause, well, y'know. Dreamy doctor-guy who can never get away from work is why Aludra leaves with a bunch of food every day? It doesn't even sound very real~" she said, giggling happily.
The young hybrid nodded a few times, glancing around for something to write with and on before just pulling a pen out that she'd retrieved... somewhere. She couldn't quite place where, though. Tugging on Aden's hand, she scribbled down Aludra's cell phone number a bit sloppily while Kammy nuzzled against Sparrow's hand happily. The girl took a deep breath when she was finished, smiling between the two of them. "Well... I guess that's all then, huh?" she said lamely, a bit saddened that she didn't get to be around them for longer, but knowing that she had to go to her swingy thing, considering it may have well started already.
"Well... at least before I go, can I have a hug?" she asked between the two of them, putting on the cutest face she knew how and holding her arms open to either side. Sure, they were practically strangers, but since when did that matter?
Aden couldn't help but to laugh, "Yeah, that doesn't really make me sound very real dos it?" He asked before he smiled then took the number that was held out to him and he tucked it away into his pocket, "Thank you for this, it means a lot to me." He was so happy with it, it was like a great sort of gift really.
Sparrow smiled at her, "Thank you for the escort, I know it wasn't to far but the distance felt much greater at the idea of heading here on my own." He murmured, not to mention that her mixed aura had helped to hide his own which was pretty faint since he wasn't the sort of angel that advertised himself as what he was, not wanting to be noticed or seen as an angel right away.
"You can always come and visit Sparrow again so long Vampy is in a good mood." Aden said, motioning to Sparrow, "Shall we?"

The day had been full of trivialities, he wentto inspect the confinements in the dungeons, making sure all the spells were still strong and no one had messed with them. The silver haired man went to check on the two more recent children being made, as he had slowed the production of spawn created drastically.
He had wanted to observe how the current spawn grew and acted before starting more, but it was good to always have a couple projects on the go. After comfirming all was right with their developement he headed back towards his office.
There was still plenty left to do in the day, btu for now he had the desire to go and check on the going ons in hell...scan to see if his sister was nearby..the pest.
And when done have a certian fallen bring him tea.
The simple pleasures were his favorite. Heck...may as well skip to him getting tea now. He moved towards his office going to sit down in his large chair and paged for his fallen to come and bring him some tea. The day was going well...
And then he felt a new aura within his facility. Closing his eyes he pinpointed on it instantly. An angel....here? By choice? Maybe it was like the last angel ...the one who had come to free the others?
But as he focused on the aura..he sensed nothing menacing about it...in fact it was coming in this direction along with two others...
Sitting back he hummed a bit to himself...well...this was getting interesting now wasn't it.

Aden was humming quietly to himself as he looked over at the cloaked figure at his side, it was quite strange to be an escort to someone like this and bringing him to visit with Vampy of all people. It was pretty strange... but hey, this entire base of operations were strange, weren't they? He gave a bit of a chuckle to himself before he smiled, "The Boss is going to be pretty interested by you, you know." He said, as though trying to strike up conversation.
The one beside him didn't look his way but gave a small nod of his head, "I hope so, I wish to be allowed sanctuary within the walls of his Facility." He murmured quietly and said nothing more on the subject, instead he was looking from side to side, taking in the details of the world around him, looking quite thoughtful. Aden stopped at the door to Vampy's office, Sparrow stopped alongside him, and Beryl ran into the back of his father's legs before giving a grumbling sound. He'd of run off by now were it not for the fact that he was tied up with a harness and leash and being led along behind the man. No fun at all... he could be running!
"Take a deep breath." He said to Sparrow before he lifted a hand to knock on the door.

The silver haired man had been waiting ..in anticipation. He has followed the aura's up until they were directly outside his door, when he heard the knocking he lifted a finger and twisted his hand around so that the door knob turned and the door swung inwards.
"Enter.." He called out leaning forward eager to meet the one who's aura he had been following. The best way to describe him was a hungry cat...waiting for the dumb bird to cross his path.
His office was as it always was, neat and orderly. Not a thing out of place, just like the man sitting at the desk, his hair was neat and his suit impecable.

Sparrow glanced over at Aden and the little child he had on his leash before he moved into the office and looked at the silver haired man who was sitting there behind the desk. He starred at him for a long while before moving to stand before him. He opened his mouth as though trying to think of something to say before he closed it, moving to dug into the pocket of his robe and held an envelope out to Vampy to take.
It was a letter from Sheikinah, written in her scrawling hand writing, asking for Vampy to take in her son, explained where he came from, what he'd been through, and how he couldn't be placed with the other angels due to Sparrow having an great dislike of them. It would be a danger for both sides if he were left in the angel wing of the Facility, it went on to say that once he was accepted into the Labs that Sparrow would be unable to leave due to complications with where he'd come from and the circumstances of his birth.
In the time that the letter was read there was little sound from the angel, just the quiet of his breathing, the shifting of cloth, and the jingling of the cuff around his wrist that was made of a metal that had magical properties to it.

The man had taken the letter silently, as if it seemed the proper thing to do and keep the silence. He used a letter opener to open it with a single clean swipe before he pulled it out and began to read it.
THe emotions that flitted over his face as his eyes darted over the scrawling words ranged from intrigued to annoyed and then pleased. He slipped the letter back into the envelope and then it vanished from his hands. Obviously being tucked away somewhere important.
"So ...you wish sanctuary...?" He mused outloud finally, he shifted on the spot and then leaned his chin into one of his propped up hands.
"That alone is enough...I can garuntee your saftey here, you have little to fear from the other angels or the demons..what is your class?" He inquired as it hadn't been quite clear on what virtue the angel before him was.

Sparrow nodded, "I wish to remain hidden from my brethren." He murmured quietly, "If I could obtain that then I am more then willing to remain here and do what has to be done. The Earth Mother has explained to me what goes on here and what my part would be."
He had to think for a moment about what he was being asked, it was Sheikinah who could tell what his virtue was and had told him since she knew that Vampy would need to know for his experiments, "I would be classified as an abstinence angel, Sir." He said quietly, "Through technicality alone though, I was never given formal training or schooling due to... extenuating circumstances."

The silver haired mand made a dismissive gesture at what Sparrow had mentioned about his training. "I am not itnerested in your training..just your genetics." He replied, "We have angels who are blind and creatures missing limbs...and it hardly matters.." He explained as he took a deep breath before raising his eyes to look over Sparrow.
"If you sign a contract with me...I can ensure no angel you do not want to know of your presence will find you. I can garuntee you will be hidden and safe here. The only thing I request is that you offer your gentics up willingly. Meet with the spawn if they so wish to meet with you...and tolerate the others who are living here."

There was a sigh of relief from Sparrow when the man said that he didn't care that he had no training, it was something that had him smiling in a happy manner, "Alright, thank you." Just the genetics matter, good. That was something that one couldn't change after all so he was safe in that aspect of things.
He listened to the requirements that came along with staying and he nodded his head, "I can deal with those three rules." He murmured before he held up his arm, "Its there... perhaps... anyway to remove this chain?" He asked, not certain if the man he was making a deal with would be able to do such a thing but it was worth asking, the sound of it, the feel of it, it was driving him batty since he'd been wearing it as long as he could remember.

The man stood up as the chain was offered to him, "This will cost you extra.." He informed the angel as he moved around to be at the angel's side "Handling items from your realm tend to do me harm...so I expect some form of compensation.." He replied raising his hand to take out his golden pen from his breast pocket.
"I will collect from you later, if you will sign the contract i will get started." A scroll appeared in the air before them both it sparked with dark energy and the golden pen was offered to Sparrow.

Sparrow looked a little uncertain, "Extra?" He asked, wondering what more would be asked for him for help with the chain, he wasn't certain but if he could pay the price he supposed that he would if it meant freedom from the last marking of his servitude.
He watched as the man came around the desk to his side and offered him up the golden pen, he took it without thinking and then found himself starring blankly at the paper in front of him. He had to sign the contract but... he starred for a long moment before he used the tip of his pen to p***k his finger and pressed it to the paper in place of a signature he couldn't provide.
"I hope this is sufficient, Sir. I am unable to write or read." He murmured, his cheeks burning brightly, hidden by his hood.

The man looked more than a bit pleased by how he signed,
"Yes..." He nearly sighed happily, "That will do quite nicely.." the scroll suddenly reveale the words ot the contract as if burning into the parchment before it rolled up in a snap and then vanished.
Moving closer his disguise shimmered his hand came to linger over the shackle and his disguise fell for a moment as he gathered up energy. Gritting his teeth he dove his pen into the shackle writing one single character into it.. the demonic word for unlock or break.
The character burned into the holy metal before finally...there was a hiss and the shackle broke into two peices and fell. It happened in about three seconds...and thent he human looking Vampy returned.
His pen smoked...and the tips of his fingers singed by the holy fire.
"It is done. I will have ...a place set up for you away from the angels and the demons. Though it means you'll have to share with humans.."

As the metal clattered to the ground Sparrow lifted his other hand to touch his now bare wrist and he gave a smile of delight, "Wow..." He breathed, sounding rather dazed and breathless as he touched his wrist, "Thank you, Sir."
He turned to look over toward him as he spoke, giving a nod, "Anywhere is fine so long as it is away from... them." He murmured in reference to the other angels. He was eager to see his room, to be able to rest for a while as he felt so very exhausted after the long trek here, "I thank you for allowing me safety here." He had no idea how dangerous it could really be here but he was willing to risk anything to be away from home for as long as possible.

Vampy only grinned as he went to gently and lovingly caress his pen tip to get the black smudges off of it.
"Don't thank me too soon...you have yet to see what it's really like around here..." He murmured still delighted to have a new angel here and how lucky that it was one of the ones they were missing.
"I will get Aden to lead you to your new living quarters.." he concluded with a dismissive wave of his hand.
"Until we meet again.."
