Juicy Random Stories
Crew

PostPosted: Wed Jul 21, 2010 8:21 am

Hi there!
I'm Juicy Random Stories, the guild mule! I'm also part robot, so if something doesn't seem logical to me, my brain might explode. Please don't make that happen; it's a long and painful process to reboot myself again.
You can call me whatever you want, anything that feels comfortable. You should send any and all donations to me, and if you have any questions feel free to send me a message.

I'm a Taurus; I like to keep things organized. So make sure you read the rules and understand where to post things, because I hate having to move misplaced threads.
IT DRIVES ME MAD.
I want everyone to get along, so be nice, ok?

I like bright colors! Dark orange, yellow, and tomato red! They're so much FUN!

Ello. I'm your wonderous, magnificent, marvelous, glorious--

GET ON WITH IT!

Apologies.
I'm TheseThoughtsIThink, your guild captain. And I'm here to tell you a little about me.

... Uh... Not sure where to... start...

I love Disney.
I love animals but hate bugs.
I love to write (hence the guild).
I love to roleplay.
I love to give critiques and my opinion.
I love to read.
I sing badly in the shower. And any other time, too.
We own two dogs, Angel and Porthos. They're both beagels.
I am completely, utterly, desperately, hopelessly obsessed with Despicable Me. Just look at my siggy.
I like making lists.
I'm a Grammar Nazi. Yes.
This upcoming year is my senior year of high school.
I like Spongebob, the Powerpuff Girls, and the 1980s cartoon version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
I always need some kind of background noise, be it music, online videos, or movies/TV.
I own every sequential season of the Simpsons on DVD so far. SOO not counting that new "season 20". I can wait until it comes out in order.
I did menion the Despicabe Me thing, right?
I dig crime dramas. Law and Order: SVU, CSI, NCIS, etc.
I looOOoove Monty Python! I've got the complete box set of the show.
I totally love astrology, astronomy, and dream-reading. (I'm a Gemini, and it's completely right about me.)
I like organization, but my room is a mess. Hey, I know where everything is. >shrug<
I love video games. They're how I spend my time when I'm not here on Gaia. That, or I'm watching Despicable Me, of course.
I love Batman, but more for Robin than the man himself. (He's such a cutey!)

I'm desperately searching for a onexone roleplay partner. Check the link in my siggy if you're interested.

I'm CD. (:
War Damn Eagle.
That's about all you need to know.

Seriously, though:
- Harry Potter is my life. I'm not even joking. I make homemade butterbeer and cauldron cakes. I wear my Slytherin robes to pick up my friends at the airport. My hardcover first-editions have been read so many times the binding is falling apart. It's getting to a level of unhealthiness.
- I'm from the South. I'm a great-something-granddaughter of a Confederate soldier and proud of it. I'm also a Daughter of the American Revolution, so put that in your pipe and smoke it.
- Roleplaying = yesplz.

And I think that's about it.
Shoot me a PM if you want to know more? : D
Also, IM me for the hell of it. My AIM buddy list has become pitifully short since I cleaned it out. ForksAreForDorks.

I'm Psychoholic Slag, and I used to go by the name General Nameless.

I enjoy music more than any other thing in the world.
After that I love food, reading, music, role playing, writing short stories, zombies, music, music, and did I mention music?
I also like Star Wars, Pokemon, movies, GOOD comedy. There is good comedy and horrible comedy, you know. There's other things I like, I just can't think of them right now.

Hm... I don't remember the full line, but let me give it a shot.

Crom, I've never prayed to you before...
...and if you do not give me want I want, then to HELL with you!

Or something like that. I just love the fact that he actually threatened a god if he didn't get what he wanted. Lawl.

You got the line right. Did you know that they're actually remaking/doing a prequel for Conan?

Oh, good! And to think, I haven't actually seen the movies yet!

Really? Not with Arnie, though?
Oh no wait. He doesn't do movies anymore, right?

>checks link<

I've never heard of the guy they got.
But, hey... I do recognize...
RON PERLMAN? Sheesh, isn't he getting a little old to be doing action movies?
PostPosted: Sat Aug 07, 2010 11:47 pm

Have you seen the trailer for The Expendables? You're never too old to be an action hero. And as for the lead (Conan), if you've seen Stargate: Atlantis, you'll know who he is. Stephen Lang was in Manhunter along with Brian Cox. Rose McGowan was in Charmed, as well as Death Proof and Planet Terror.

And as far as watching the movies, The Barbarian was the better of the two. That movie single-handedly gave us the perfect formula for movies. This formula follows as such: Fighting, ********, twenty seconds of montage walking, rest. . . Rinse and repeat! BEST MOVIE EVER!!!

Ah, good point. That's probably the biggest cast of washed-up has-beens I've ever seen.
Then again, it's probably the biggest cast I've ever seen period, without including extras.
And I have seen... none of those. Hm.

That was the... first one, yeah? And Destroyer was the second. I'll have to take your word for it, I suppose. The copies we had of the movies my dad took (since they were his and all), so I haven't been able to see them.
And I was also counting Red Sonya, but I guess that's not technically a Conan movie, is it?
PostPosted: Sun Aug 08, 2010 12:00 am

First off, they're not has-beens, they're still making good movies. However, that movie is probably the first and only super-cast movie I will ever see. I want to see movies with unknowns!

That's part of the reason why I loved Watchmen so much.

And no, Red Sonja is most definitely NOT a Conan movie. I still have to see it, however. And next on my movie docket is collecting ever Arnold Schwarzenegger movie ever, with the exception of Batman & Robin, THE biggest ******** EVER!

Oh, I'm just poking fun. I mean, come on.
Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Terry Crews...
HOT DAMN!
And holy CRAP! Sly even directed it, according to IMDb! That, I didn't know.

Oh, yeah... I didn't recognize any of them... But then I was so busy trying to follow the plot of Watchmen I didn't really notice.
...I need to read the comic. O.O"

Well, you could still get it just to laugh at it. Arnold wasn't the only bad actor in that one. And it's even better if you watch it if the RiffTrax.
They're so awesome.
PostPosted: Sun Aug 08, 2010 12:27 am

It's not Arnold that ******** up, though. It's a joint effort of Joel Schumacher and Akiva Goldsman. Joel Schumacher is not a bad director, but he never should have been allowed to touch any Batman movie, and Akiva Goldsman is just a ******** as a writer. Unfortunately, he did good movies such as Hancock, I,Robot, A Beautiful Mind, and Lost In Space.

Well... I can understand that you really like him, but Batman & Robin was a pretty bad job on Arnold's part, too. He just really shouldn't play scientists. Like in Junior.
Plus George Clooney and Chris O'Donnell sucked too. I'm not putting the blame completely on Arnie.

Lost In Space... A good movie?
Ooook...
