Welcome to the Official GCG Guild.

GCG's guild is a guild in which users can ask questions about the economy, debate about things that happen in the exchange and marketplace, and just talk about items and experiences with them in general. This guild is still under its first baby steps and is under construction. If you have feedback or suggestions for the guild, please post it in the feedback thread, which I will create shortly.

A few rules.

1. ToS Applies here. Do not do anything that breaks the ToS or you will be warned/booted.
2. Respect the people in the guild. If you have an argument, take it to PMs.
3. Please do not make multiple threads for the same topics.
4. Don't spam up the forum with needless material. Threads should relate to the economy somehow or items in general. Off-topic conversation should be directed to the GCG Chatting thread.
5. Have fun!

Failure to comply with these rules may result in a banning.

Short list of rules isn't it? I'll add to it if there is a need for more of them.

Also:

Please do not donate to the guild. I have no use for the donations and it just sits in the guild funds because it cannot be taken out. If you really wish to contribute, please save up using letters or other investments and then when guild features come out, we can decide what to do with them collectively.

Based on the situations that happened earlier today, and have been happening for the past months, I have decided to add the following blanket rule.

Do not flame the other guides. We are not competing guides but fellow service-providers to the Gaian community.

Basically, please keep your evaluations of other guides on a professional level from this point forward. You may discuss them and their accuracy and such, but if there is something that you want to say that might be offensive to another guide, take it to PMs.

The following will not be tolerated anymore here in the GCG.

1) Excessive gloating about how the GCG is better than everyone else - its not a competition folks. I know you guys can get very excited about the guide, and I do as well, but that doesn't mean that we get to belittle other guides. Analyze them maybe. Belittle, no. Any such content will be deleted on-sight.

2) Excessive bashing of specific people in other guides. If you have personal problems with someone take it somewhere else. (If someone in another guide starts flaming the crap out of another person associated with GCG, just report them and PM me about the situation so that it can be dealt with privately)

3) Gloating over other price guides' failures. Example being the recent talk about how SIN collapsed and such. Use common sense - don't post material that you yourself wouldn't want to see voiced about you. Again, keep in mind that the price guides are not in competition with each other. We are fellow service-providers for the Gaian community.
