question So I might be a noob-old sweatdrop ...I've never been to an annual ball or heard of it before. I have no idea what it is. I joined this guild to see but it's just making me more CONFUSED!!! xp Can someone explain...[when it is, what it is, should i buy a cute dress[if so, is what im wearing fine or what type of dress], do i have to pay money, what link do i click to get there? And any other things you think this dummy might want to know whee

  Basically, to give you the shortest answer: It is one of Gaia's oldest user run events, and one of its biggest. Every year we work hard to put on a ball for the other Gaians. Gaia gives us our own forum out in the main forums, and we create main rooms with plots, prizes, and an interesting theme for the guests. We plan all year, and then the bash is usually in either the spring or summer.
This year's ball just ended, it was this past weekend.
I'd tell you what to wear to the next one... but we haven't picked the theme yet! ^^ Right now, Sabs, the head of the last ball, is picking the new head of the ball. After that, the new head of the ball will take over and help the other members of the planning team pick a theme, pick what the main threads or 'rooms' will be, and choose people for different jobs.

It's a huge three day roleplaying event. But, don't worry too much. You will get the hang of everything, and the next ball isn't until next year. 3nodding

It's a biiiiiiiig event, mostly role playing. Each year's ball is based on a theme, which will be decided. However, we'll need a lot of help to get such big an event out in the open. From advertising to fundraising to everything else. Hence this guild. ^.^
