Welcome to our guild we're happy to have you here!

I'd like to Ask all of you though to first make an introduction to our Intro thread and tell us who you are and what side you'll be choosing.

then i'd like you to make your RP profiles in the appropriate areas in the Roleplay Sector Subforum.

Those who wish to seek out Knowledge and wisdom can check out the Jedi Temple-Jedi HQ Subforum and ask to be the Padawan of a Jedi Master!

Those who seek out Power and Corruption can check out Korriban-Sith HQ Subforum where you can ask( and hopefully survive) the training of being a Sith Knight

BE SURE TO READ THE RULES! or face the fearsome power of the Lady Siren! =o smile

All New comers CAN NOT use force powers or lightsabers under any circumstances what-so-ever unless they have received training from their master! No master=no lightsaber or force powers! Failure to comply with this will result in a warning!

REGARDING LIGHTSABER COLORS!
Please stick to the basic colors (blue, green, violet, orange for jedi and red for sith) Special colors are only allowed when the crystal is either found or given to you by your master!

Thanks for joining us and have fun!

BATTLES FOR APPRENTICESHIP
Let's say you are a new member and you need a master. You have become enthralled with... Grandmaster Jaden but he already has a padawan, You will post in his thread in the Jedi Temple subforum declaring a challenge and it will take place in the "Battle of Wits" subforum. Here's a breakdown of how everything will go:

#1 Post in the master's thread in the appropriate subforum declaring the challenge. Apprentices need to keep an eye on your master's thread also to accept the challenges.

#2 Keep an eye on the Battle subforum. When you see a thread titled "you vs. the apprentice", the two of you have 10 posts each to battle each other in a back-and-forth style. Challenger posts first. You can insult each other, say why you should be the apprentice instead of them, whatever just be creative, it's your 10 posts. Once the both of you have posted 10 times each (that's 20 total posts in the thread for you slow ones), the master will declare a winner. The choice will be totally up to that specific master, there is no vote.

#3 If you lose the battle, you have to wait 3 weeks to re-challenge to ANY master.

Now, I know your asking, What if the other person doesn't show up? Well, once the challenge is issued, the apprentice has 72 hours to respond or they forfeit. Once the battle starts and the first post is made, you have 48 hours to respond to each post. If anyone misses the set deadlines, that person forfeits the match.

THE MASTER'S CHOICE IN WINNER IS FINAL. THERE WILL BE NO WHINING AT ALL.

If the current apprentice meets the requirement during a battle, the master reserves the right to end the battle at that moment, promote the apprentice, and take the challenger as the new apprentice.

PROMOTION CRITERIA

#1 Member must have a master to be promoted

#2 Apprentice must have a minimum of 400 posts and be active in the RP to be considered for knighthood. Trials will be conducted by your own master however they see fit.

#3 Knight must have 1500 posts and active in the RP to be considered. Before I administer the master trials, the council must give a majority vote in favor of the promotion.

#4 Master does not mean a spot on the council. There will only be 5 total council members at any given time.

BASIC RULES

All new members (force-sensitive or not) will be placed into their respective Factions until they can be apprenticed to a master. If you are approached by a master for apprenticeship but wish to stay masterless, you are more than welcome to decline without penalty and still be picked up at a later time.

The Masters will accept apprentices/padawans, but ONLY ONE PER MASTER. You will petition the master of your choice in their appropriate thread in the headquarters subforum, giving them a good reason why they should choose you. ONLY the members who have a master will be eligible for promotion. This means that if you do not participate in the guild to your master's liking, you can be dropped for someone else waiting to be accepted.

Once your master has decided you have fulfilled the criteria for promotion, he/she will send you the trials for knighthood, once promoted, you are under the direction of the Jedi/Sith Council. You will only be promoted to master by majority vote in the council.

Remember, the more active you are, the more likely you are to get a master, and the faster you get a master, the faster you can be promoted in the guild.

CREATING PROFILES

Upon joining, you will need to create an RP profile in the "Jedi/Sith/Grey Profile" thread in the Role Players subforum if you plan on participating.

SWITCHING SIDES

We have had several members wish to switch sides, which is fine, but we cannot have this happening every few months.
So effective immediately these rules will apply to switching sides:

1)All members can ONLY switch sides 2 times period. One to fall to the other side and one to be redeemed if you so choose.

2)Once you switch sides, you are stuck for 6 months. This time can be shortened only by a unanimous decision by all council members.

More Basic Rules

~Follow the crew member's instructions.
~Keep it clean. PG-13.
~Do not post one liners. You don't exactly have to be insanely literate, but it is almost impossible to reply to a one line post.
~Romance is fine. But, once again, keep it clean.
~No flaming
~No spamming
~Don't quote unless you absolutely have to. If you word it right, it shouldn't be necessary. I've been doing this for a while and never found the need for it.
~Don't go crazy with your posts. Give others time to respond.
~Do not post OOC in the RP, that is what the discussion thread is for.
~Post profiles in the profile thread...not here.
~ONE Profile per Username/Person.
~Do not post in the RP until you post your profile.
~DO NOT kill one of your fellow RPers unless you have their express permission. Failure to follow our rules will result in your character being "killed" by me or another council member and your expulsion from the RP. Repeated failure will result in your expulsion from the guild.
~RESPECT THE HIGHER RANKS. If you disrespect a higher ranking member, your character is subject to being killed off by a council member to which you will start over from scratch with a new character. ONLY COUNCIL MEMBERS CAN KILL WITHOUT PERMISSION
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
