A silvery woman trailed in, eyeing the empty, circular room. She carried an air of faint sadness about her, as if she carried the world's burden across her narrow shoulders. Her grace made up for her somewhat normal beauty, making her appear more fabulous than she actually was, however, she carried the weighty aura of royalty about her. "Welcome, all. Thank you for responding to my hasty invitation." She sat down at a table in the middle of the room. "As you heard from my letter, we have a large problem immediately ahead of us."
"First, let me introduce myself. I am Queen Silver, standing in for King Gold, who could not come today. You are all either representatives from the various noble families, or representatives from the various nomad tribes."
Queen Silver then sighed. "To the problem. The nomad tribes surrounding our castle (in which we are now situated) are discontent. The largest tribe, Tribe Diamond, have begun threatening our castles with challenges and threats of war. We must find a way to make the nomad tribes happy again and avoid war."
"I have invited people from all the noble families and all the nomad tribes. The tribes promised to send peaceful, reasonable people while the noble families promised to send open, responsible members. However, some families and tribes may have sent violent, irate people just to gain some attention or to assassinate the royal family. In this case it would be me." Queen Silver massaged her temples, closing her eyes and appearing the picture of grief and weariness.
"And with this, I will have to warn you. There will be diplomacy here, but there will also be unavoidable violence. There will be drunks, irresponsible people, assassins, ninjas and pirates, and all sorts of people." Queen Silver put her head up and winked. "There will also be refreshments, but we don't have a person to take care of them. Any volunteers?"
"And with this, we begin our counsel."

Jacklyn came rushing in, running uncharacteristically late. She had misjudged the distance and left without enough time to be on time. Sorceress and adviser to the Ruby Lady, she was sent for this errand in diplomacy. "Sorry I'm late. How much did I miss?" she huffed as she sat down to rest.

SorceressJacklyn Jacklyn came rushing in, running uncharacteristically late. She had misjudged the distance and left without enough time to be on time. Sorceress and adviser to the Ruby Queen, she was sent for this errand in diplomacy. "Sorry I'm late. How much did I miss?" she huffed as she sat down to rest. Queen Silver smiled. "Actually, you're the first to arrive. I sent the invitation on short notice, so we'll be seeing a lot of people arriving at random times."
She then examined the woman who came rushing in. "So, who are you? A representative of nobility, or someone from one of the nomad tribes?"
((I'm going to be trying to keep one king and queen, so this is just one country. Like England; One king, one queen. Does that make sense? So you can have the Ruby Lady/Lord, but I wanna be the queen!!!!))

((Fixed. Sorry. Not too used to "jump in" RPs))
Jacklyn smiled. She was glad to be the first of the lates. It meant her tardiness would be forgotten quickly. "I represent The Ruby Lady. She asked me to come in her stead."

SorceressJacklyn ((Fixed. Sorry. Not too used to "jump in" RPs)) Jacklyn smiled. She was glad to be the first of the lates. It meant her tardiness would be forgotten quickly. "I represent The Ruby Lady. She asked me to come in her stead." ((Ah, don't worry. This is my first created rp, can you help me make a profile?))
"Oh, the Ruby Lady!" Silver smiled warmly, but kept rather stiff. "I remember her from my childhood days." She laughed. "Ah, little Ruby would always hold my head underwater. But perhaps she's changed." Queen Silver now was analyzing Jacklyn severely. "How does the Ruby Lady feel about this issue? What does she know?" As an afterthought: "And who are you? What makes you qualified to represent a noble family?" Queen Silver smiled to soften her harsh words, but kept her eyes and mannerism stiff and cold.

"Ah, and who are you?" Queen Silver felt a bit overwhelmed by the new arrival's appearance, but tried not to let it show on her face. She scrutinized his demonic aura and his silent entrance; she had not noticed him until he was beside her. She wondered silently who this figure could be.

((Shoot me a PM. We can talk through there))
Jacklyn laughed. "She thinks it will cut into her shopping trips." She held out her hand, Magic gathering into it before creating a silver rose. "I am her Lady's adviser and the resident sorceress." Looking over to the person off to the side, she grimaced. She smelt demon from over there.

the demon did not reply to the question just yet, instead he walked in a clockwise circle around the two, seemingly sizing them both up, after a couple of seconds of silence he spoke just two simple expressionless words "a friend"

Queen Silver smiled. "Well, a friend is always welcome here." Then she turned to the proficient sorceress, Jacklyn. "Ruby always loved to spend money. Good thing she married a Lord!" Her tinkling, silvery laugh filled the room, turning the carnations in a nearby vase into silver. She stopped immediately and turned back to the demon.
"So, you are a friend. Would you mind telling me which family or tribe you come from? And your name, friend?"

he was reluctant to give out information about himself, but something deep down said he could trust the queen. the sorceress however was a different matter altogether, he knew how much they tended to dislike his kind, though perhaps this one would be different?
"I am known as cozork amongst tribe diamond, I come from the demon family 'amethyst' though my mother was human"
that was more information than he had wished to give out, he hoped that revealing himself this early on would not cause problems for him later. cozork always had preffered to work from the shadows, going unnoticed was usually the best option.

Queen Silver stared. She hadn't heard of anyone of this royal lineage - ever. The Amethyst Demon Family? They were like the "mafia" of this land - or so she thought. Her mind was slipping on the details. She regained her composure quickly and said, "Well, cozork, very nice to meet you. I hope you can feel completely welcome here, and that you aren't here to assassinate me." Silver smiled, a little sheepishly, at talking to a demon this way.
"I'd like to ask a few questions - to both of you," the queen said, turning so she could face cozork and Jacklyn at once. "How do you feel we should deal with the nomad tribes? Now we have a representative from both a tribe and a family, so we are closer to solving this problem."
