Please read this entire page of posts (in this thread) before posting.
Rules: All of the rules of the Gaian ToS will be followed, as will the rules in the "rules sticky" on the main page of the guild. Please make sure your post/thread follows these rules. Breaking these rules will result in a reminder, getting a guild warning, or being banned from the guild depending on how severe the mishap is.
What is Allowed in This Subforum: Any threads relating to sex within a relationship, dating, break-ups, questions about kissing or dating, and so on. This also includes threads about relationships with friends, family members, distant relatives, etc. smile
Note: Please read the new announcement on thread limits and repeat relationship threads, in regards to this subforum.
If you're not sure about something, just PM me. I'm on Gaia at least once a day, so I'll almost definitely get your PM within 24 hours. And if you DO post something in the wrong place, I'll just move it and will notify the thread's creator. No biggie. 3nodding
Thank you for taking the time to read this. heart

No More "What Should I Get My Boyfriend/Girlfriend For ____" Threads Please.
I have noticed that lately there have been a lot of "What should I get my boyfriend?" or "What should I get my girlfriend?" threads popping up in this subforum lately.
I'm pretty sure that it mentions in the rules sticky that guild members are to check the subforum before they post, to see if their thread has already been created. Obviously, that hasn't been happening regarding some topics.
So, from this point onward (Feb. 5th), there are to be no more threads about this topic. Any more such threads will result in that thread being locked, and a reminder sent to the thread owner. If it happens a second time, the user will get a warning. If it happens a third time, they will be banned. Repeat threads are annoying to have to move.
Instead, this topic will cover the topic of gift ideas for your partner. If you have anything you'd like to add to the list, you can PM me with your suggestion, or post it here, and I'll add it to the list.
So without further ado...
Gift ideas for your girlfriend: - If she's a romantic, the "traditional" gift ideas might work. Flowers, chocolate, a stuffed animal, etc. Cards are optional, but if she likes cards, it might be a good idea to ask her beforehand to see if she wants a card.
- Something sentimental.
- Something that has a special symbolism for you and her, or just for her.
- Jewellery! xd
Gift ideas for your boyfriend: - If he's a romantic, the same applies as above. Chocolate, etc. Again, cards are optional.
- If he's a "guy" guy, maybe a favourite book from a series he likes, or a special CD/DVD might be a good gift. This depends on the person though - some people might see this as an informal gift.
- If he likes jewellery, a simple chain or bracelet might be a nice but simple gift.
- Some guys like it when their girl bakes something for them. Cookies, a cake, cupcakes, something chocolate, etc.
Gifts for the romantic: - Flowers - Chocolate - Card - Stuffed animal - Jewellery - Something sentimental (love letter, a note, etc) - Anything that will make him/her say "Awwww!"
Above all else, try to make the gift personal. Find something for your partner that they're interested in. If you are getting someone flowers, you can try to find them a bouquet of their favourite flower/s, instead of getting a variety bouquet. Or if you're getting chocolate, try to get him/her some of their favourite chocolate or other sweet treat. And so on, and so on.
Momre will be added if suggestions are given. 3nodding

Limit On Multiple Threads With The Same Main Topic.
I've started to notice that some users are making repeat threads about the same topic, or similar topics. While I appreciate the fact that this guild is being used, it's getting annoying and repetitive for some of us to read and re-read the same problems over and over, when they could be condensed into one thread. Or an old thread can be re-titled and the posts re-edited, and then a new question can be asked. And so on, and so on.
So from now on, no more than 2 threads per one topic are allowed. If you make more than 2 threads about the same topic, you will get a reminder and your thread will be moved to the Recycle Bin. If it happens a second time, the user will get a warning. If it happens a third time, the user will be banned from the guild.
Any existing multiple same-topic threads will be left alone. This announcement applies to all future threads (past the point of 1/18/06).
Thank you for taking the time to read this. heart

No More "Does He/She Like Me?" Threads Please.
It goes with saying, if you want to know whether or not someone is interested in you, ASK THEM. We aren't psychic, and we can't read their minds. It's hard to say whether or not someone likes you just by you describing their behavior. They could be doing one thing, but could mean another, and we might not pick up on that.
So basically, if you want to know if someone else likes you or is interested in you, ask them yourself. I will leave the existing "does he like me?" threads up, but if anyone makes one again in the future, they will get a warning with no reminder beforehand. I'm sorry to be such a b***h, but these types of threads are repetitive, and we can't really answer them.
