History of the guild to October 22nd, 2004, told by General Ender. With my leaving of the guild, I thought I'd tell it's story so far the best to my ability and briefly as possible through my point of view as your old General and creator of The Brotherhood Of Steel, leaving a story and legacy to present and future members to read and remember the guild's history. Please forgive me if I left something out, like I said, it's a brief overview of the history of the guild so far up to date.
One day, a man with ideas of something far greater than himself thought of a idea, something that he could mold using his own ideals and morals and create something far much greater than any guild that he's seen. On Sunday, December 14th, 2003, at 6:59am, he created this dream that he had and it all came together on that day. He had no friends to ask to join his new made guild, The Brotherhood Of Steel, he had to build it from the foundation up, from scratch and he knew that he'd make this happen and that his new born legacy would never die. Within a few days, he brought into the guild a few people, Wasted_years, his very first member, later to become the love of his life and a major pillar of support as he leads the guild on into the future. He also found a man named Seck, who would later become the first Paladin and also one of his dear friends. Both of those core members ambitious and wanting the guild to thrive and it did, it grew at least one member each day. The guild back then used the squad system, members getting assigned to squads of ten people, lead by a Paladin and a elite squad called Talon Squad lead by ender_169 himself, the General. The guild grew and grew, the whole time, ender throwing himself into his work for the guild, back then, it wasn't considered work, it was pleasure, it was his duty, he needed to do it because it was no one else to back him up and pick up the slack if he fell. Seck became the first Paladin and lead a squad named Dragons Hope Squad. Later, more people became Paladins, those people being Lord Shard, Xeon Sempai, lil_vampire_angel and alexisingrid. Those four was the core leaders for months. Other members came in, ones that are still impacting the guild even today, those being Kissamaki, Allectus, Slade226, egyptian_vampiress, MunkiHunter, Kiron Albrithe, Shani wants griphephtan, [Koji], and many more. A event happened at the end of February and the beginning of March, that almost tore the guild apart and almost made General Ender and Wasted_years quit. That event tore their souls out, it also made Lord Shard, alexisingrid, and Lord Ryu leave the guild, among with a few others. But not before Lord Shard tried a open mutiny and takeover of the guild, ender_169 and the Paladins of the time came up against Lord Shard and put his revolt down cold. Then General Ender came back, carrying the banner that said "The Brotherhood Reborn From The Ashes" and carried with him extreme spirit and determination to put the guild back together and restructure the very base of the guild, making it concrete where it could stand against the test of time, where it'll never fall, even if he himself left. Shortly after the event, Seck fell ill and had to leave the guild, to return two months later. But during the time of restructure, the guild was locked down to any new members, the structure of the guild rebuilt, changing from Squads to Divisions and giving the members job occupations to choose from to keep them busy. The restructuring and lockdown lasted around two months before opening back up and members joining. The restructuring took around 45 members with it, leaving about 24 members left in the guild, removing everyone who was inactive, a weak member, or who simply didn't care for ender anymore after what he did to Wasted_years back during that time. But ender went on, rebuilding his relationship and commanding the guild with a iron fist at the same time, it draining him and burning him out, but he kept on. After awhile, the duties and the guild started weighing down on him, he started to burn the last drags of energy and he turned his last bit of energy towards making the guild ready for the day where he might leave. Then the Gaia Guild Network came out and the old guild moved into it's own guild forum, giving birth to multiple threads and more ideas on how to make The Brotherhood even greater than what it already was. The setup took around a week, but after exhausting himself, ender got the moving to the new guild accomplished. The Paladins at the time being Wasted_years, Slade226, Kissamaki, Xeon Sempai, [Koji] and Allectus. The guild grew from around 40 members to 110 in around a week. But most of them joining just for the idea of it, to be a part of it and nothing more and never posting. Once again, a cleanout was in order, it brought the number down to about 80. Allectus was the first Paladin Lord, but then became inactive for a short time due to problems at home and was downgraded to Paladin once again, Wasted_years taking the place as Paladin Lord, thus, the reign of Ender with Wasted_years as his second in command came to be, trying to build the guild to a greater future. Then [Koji], Slade226, and Xeon Sempai retired. Xeon Sempai replaced by MunkiHunter and Slade226 replaced by Seck, after his return to the guild after two months. Malus Division led by [Koji] was broken up and it's members either removed or going elsewhere to other Divisions. The guild went well for awhile, until they found azureink, a traitor in their ranks that was stealing technology from the guild. The traitors that was part of his guild and The Brotherhood, who might be traitors was arrested and detained, all of them proven innocent except azureink, who returned the technology peacefully and resigning from the guild, without a casualty coming out of the whole stolen technology situation. Slade226 comes back to the guild and becomes the very first Scribe, a new rank that was never thought out until his return to the guild. Shortly after, ender retires to the rank of Elder, after being burned out completely and not being able to handle his duties no longer and turning his pursuits to what matters most to him, Wasted_years and being with her, sacrificing The Brotherhood Of Steel, the guild he created, loved, and watched grow. Both of them retiring to the rank of Elder until their possible return one day. Wasted_years being by ender_169's side since the day he created the guild and being by his side until his end with the guild. Both ender_169 and Wasted_years loved by all of the members and knowing that their fellow Brothers and Sisters will greatly miss them, but wishing for The Brotherhood Of Steel to carry on and grow, to make it through them leaving. But ender_169 was happy with the decision he made, to focus on his real life and pursuing love and happiness. In his last days with the guild, he made sure that it'd be safe, that it wouldn't fall apart without him, wrapping up all of the loose ends and handing over the guild to the new General that he selected, Allectus, leaving Allectus with a clean slate. Ender's love for the guild still stands to this day and wishes everyone who passes within these walls to carry on the legacy that he started. That is the history of the guild up until present day, the future will be decided under the leadership of the new General.

History of the guild from October 22nd, 2004 to January 19th, 2006, told by General Ender.
Picking up the history and bringing it up to date for newer members to understand events that has happened in the past year, I've decided to write another chronicle to the BOS History. Even though some of this may be inaccurate since I wasn't here from October 23, 2004 to May 2005, I'll only go through it vaguely and with what knowledge I do know from that time period to present date.
When Allectus took up the role of General in my stead, he took the honor with courage and undying vigor towards the role, fulfilling it in every way, keeping strong even when the strain seemed crushing. He dealt with threats of assisination from an enemy who vowed to destroy The Brotherhood, especially as my time of General passed, seeing through this enemy's treachery and lies to get himself into The Brotherhood in order to be closer to destroy the guild from within. With so many threats, Allectus changed the status of the guild to Hidden, so that it'd be difficult to find, so that no one could read the forums in able to gain intelligence and to keep newcomers from joining for the fact that they could of been potential enemies sent by the one person who wished all of The Brotherhood destroyed. But in this, it meant no new members was coming in and with the passing of the old General, many members lost faith and started leaving, many not really knowing much about Allectus or his capabilities to lead. With so many leaving, the guild quickly went from it's higher numbers down to only a dozen or so of the few loyal members left to the great cause and might of The Brotherhood, forever swearing their allegiance in good times or bad and to remain vigilant, even if it seemed the guild would crumble under their feet, these were the members of old, who stayed with The Brotherhood for almost a year at the time, good, strong, reliable men and women of the guild who just rolled back their shoulders, kept their chin up, and faced whatever came ahead. But the guild was quickly crumbling under being hidden, so many members long gone and seemed unable to recover. Allectus started spending more and more time away from The Brotherhood due to real life problems crashing down on his shoulders, never catching a break in life, with wave after wave of bad luck hitting him and forcing him down onto his knees. But even so, he checked up on the guild often, but hardly posted since he started to begin feeling like a outsider, like many was against him and stayed, but watched, watched the guild and saw what it was coming to, but feeling helpless to turn the tide from the direction The Brotherhood was going. When Paladin Seck retired and Steel Hand Division broken up, he replaced him with egyptian_vampiress and she created Trymman Division. Then sometime through the course of time, Paladin MunkiHunter stepped down to the rank of Elder, Crusader Division in which he lead was broken up among the other existing Divisions. Then along the flow of time, Paladin Kissamaki slowly started to fade from the guild, his interest flagging and becoming inactive in the leadership role as the guild he would die for was in a rapid state of degrading. Through the course of months, The Brotherhood kept crumbling and crumbling under such strain, many not posting, lucky to be getting one post a day in the guild.
Then on May 2005, ender_169 made his return the guild, but as Elder, the old General and veteran of running the guild since it's birth before his departure to pursue real life goals and finally coming back to the guild he loved, his only real home on Gaia. But with the coming of Ender, it brought no great relief to the problems that The Brotherhood has long endured, many was happy to see him, but he swore to never take up the position of General again, not with the happiness in his new life in the real world and not wanting to take time away from his love by taking up the responsibilities of General again. But Ender saw the guild in dismay and kept wanting to do something, anything, to get the guild even a little back on it's feet, he didn't want to see the one thing he loved on gaia that he gave birth to, fail. After watching the guild in it's degraded state, he offered his services to Allectus, to take up at least some of the responsibilities in order to provide relief for Allectus since he was going through tough times in the real world, it consuming his entire attention and time. But feeling insignificant in the role of Elder and wishing to do more for the guild, he spoke with his fellow Elders and Paladins and they all agreed to Ender taking up the role of General again. With their approval, he set out to contact Allectus, pleading him to do what's right for the guild, to take up the motto of "The guild is greater than any one person" as he has done himself in the past when he had to take his leave from Gaia and step down as General. With Allectus acknowledging the guild's state and wishing it to recover, he did the selfless act of handing the reigns of power back to Ender, giving a birth to a new reign of Ender.
Taking hold of the guild firmly, Ender threw himself into reworking the guild quickly, remaking old and long forgotten threads, changing the status of the guild to Private, allowing new members to join and for the forum to be viewed by others again. Then he broke up Echelon Division and reassigned the members to other Divisions. He quickly sought in improving the guild by having the banners recreated to provide a better look, the banners switched to his personal server that he created long ago when he was General before Allectus and threw all of his energies into rebuilding the crumbling structure of what The Brotherhood had become over a long duration of time. He quickly nominated Fenrir Fenix, a long supporter and good member of the guild to the rank of Paladin, who created Auxilium Division and proved to be a valuable asset along with egyptian_vampiress, who proved to be great in the role of leading. Then a new rank was formed, the position of High Elder, to pose as higher rank of Elder and performing the duties of recruiting, along with temporarily taking over the spot of Vice Captain since a Paladin Lord hasn't been named since the age of Wasted_years. Taking up the position of High Elder was the old time guild veteran, MunkiHunter. With The Brotherhood being reborn and lead in a new reign of Ender, a slow trickle of new Initiates began to flow in until the guild started growing little by little in it's attempt to reach the pillar of greatness and glory at where it once stood. That fight towards obtaining it's previous greatness still continues with the new Reign of Ender.

Fallout Story
The year is 2299. 120 years ago the world came to an end. The war, the final war of the old civilization, was over the last pitiful resources mankind could extract from a barren world of our own creation
Unlike the previous wars, this "Last World War" was fought with the very resources they hoped to gain: Uranium and Petroleum. This need would cause the European Union to disband back into a pack of squabbling nation states, it would cause the US to annex Canada, and for china to invade Alaska.
In the end, as predicted by thousands of paranoids and survivalists, the world ended in an Armageddon of nuclear fire. Europe blasted itself into a glowing pothole, India and Pakistan finally hit the button, China and the US (whose vaunted SDI systems barely managed to eliminate 1/4 of all missiles launched) vaporized each other, and the rest of the world soon followed suit falling into the disarray and chaos of devastating shortages, conventional warfare, and nuclear bombardment. By the end of the decade civilization was in ruins, leaving billions dead or dieing.
The past years have not been static. Many Vaults (large Fallout shelters built to hold thousands) have opened, while just as many have remained sealed. Those that survived have formed towns, governments, and raider gangs. Many small empires vying at a chance for supremacy attempt to recapture the grandeur of the before times struggle to gobble up the surrounding hamlets, towns, and city-states

((Cont. From Barraks))
Mirikin had been walking about the base for a short while when he came across a large building. It was round and intelligent in it's stature and posture. Perhaps a library? He wondered what it could be. He walked up to the large building and up to the doors. There was a bin there to place his weapons and a sign telling him that the library was no place for weapons. He was new to the Brotherhood of Steel and decided it was best to obey, despite his dislike of the rile.
After disarming himself he walked in through the large double doors. And headed to the center of the large room. It seemed he could see most of the isles from here. He quickly spotted one called combat strategy and eagerly paced towards it.

The Raid
.................."Help!!" a woman called. "Get over here," called the raider to the screaming woman, who was now on her knees. "This will teach you..." The raider grabbed her by the hair and dragged her to his feet. He kicked her in the stomach once and then again, and again. He did it an amount of twelve kicks. The woman was crying and was spitting blood on the ground. The raider took out a pistol and aimed it at the woman's head. "Wait, no i think ill make you suffer..." said the raider, aiming the pistol at her legs. "Bam, Bam!" The raider pulled the trigger twice and shot both her legs under the knee. "AHH!!! My legs!" Cried the woman, both her kneecaps were blown out. The raider then pointed the gun at her head again. "Bam!" the woman instantly fell silent, except for a "Crack, Splat..." and her writhing stopping. "Now to your husband..." said the raider. He walked over to his buddies holding a man down and beating on him relentlessly. "Hey boys, how is the poor b*****d?" inquisited the raider, the other raiders responded, "Hey Steve, We think he is ready for his.....'judgement' ha ha ha." Steve responded, "Good. Let's get to work." He took out a very crudely made knife, with rusty, jagged edges and a broken handle. Such were the weapons of the Drako-Jaroff Town Raiders, also known as the D.J.T.R. Steve held it to the man's throat and started cutting it but stopped when he had about half an inch cut out, dangerously close to the Jugular vein. He moved it to the man's abdomin and thought about what to do. He finally made up his mind to stab him in the stomach and did so wothout thought. The man curled into a ball and the raider placed the knife above his ear. He then jabbed it down through the ear of the man and pulled it out. The man stopped moving and twitched uncontrollably for 3 minutes. "I think that is enough for now..." Said Steve, but his companions disagreed. "There is still a baby, don't you think we should kill him too?" Then Steve rebutted with, "No, I think he will live with trauma... Seeing his parents dead will be enough torture for him. Let's just grab the stuff and get out of here." They grabbed all valuable items from the house and took any and all jewelry off the parents along with any life savings and money from their pockets that they could find. What they didn't know was that there was a stach in the baby's crib, hiding under the mattress and in the wood. Also in the parents' bed was the rest of the stash, but since the raiders were in too much of a hurry, they didn't bother looking in the beds.

Mirikin woke up with a start. He had fallen asleep over a book about 3 great wars. He'd been so engrossed in it he didn't realize he was tired. He stretched with a yawn and looked around. There were still very few people. But, that was understandable. It was well into the night and everyone has probably gone to bed. He was still interested in the book so he checked it out from the library through the elderly librarian.
Once he was outside, he decided to get some rest in his barracks. However, he would find it relatively empty, still. Seeing the base more desolate than his village, he wondered if he did the right thing by coming here.

Mirikin returned to the library. This time there would be no casual looking around. He had a destination and a goal. First he disarmed himself and then went in through the metal doors. Once inside he took a moment to search for his destination. Quickly, he found the science section. Chemistry and engineering would be his best bets. He wanted to take something special on his first mission. Something uniquely his and something that would possibly save his a**.
He quickly skimmed through the books and pulled out a stack of them. Then, he sat down at a desk with the 5 or so books. He found some paper, suprisingly, and a pencil. They were both rare commodities where he came from. Not that the nomads needed any such things to survive. He'd spend the next few hours there reading, researching, and taking notes for later use.

((Continued from Motor Pool.)) Lai disarmed herself as she approached the small building, pulling throwing knives off of her person as she walked. She dumped them in a container inside, along with her Colt .45, combat knife, and Needler. She stripped the razor-lined Lacerators from her hands and dropped them in as well. Oh, the fascination a girl can develope for sharp or pointy objects. A soft bare hand rand back through messy blond hair, recently cleaned in the barrack showers. For a few moments the soldier stood, fingers entwined in her hair, looking through the place. Somewhat comfortable chairs, plenty of books, pens, so on. It was...comfortable. Not exactly homey, but comfortable. Lai wandered until she found a small row of blank books, retrieving a pen from one of the tables and curling up in a chair. She sat, and chewed on the pen. Her eyes closed before she started to write. Initiate Leema Go ahead, Turn off the night light As the last breath of air Passes my lips. Don't say goobye, I won't hear it. The lights are already out. She paused, the brief spurt of inspiration gone and tucked away in the back of her mind until she felt the need to write again at a later time. She scribbled, at the bottom of the page, upside down, in small letters: small, upside down print Not to self: find a way to secure this book. The Initiate Infantry soldier unballed her smaller body, and placed the book in among several discreet others. With any luck, no one would ever find it but her. She was about to leave when an idea from earlier popped into her mind. She speed scanned the library from shelf to shelf looking for certain several books, and once she had about five, she sat down at a table with them. An hour or two later she'd bookmarked the pages she would photocopy. One more hour later, and she was leaving the library with all her arms, and a good hundred or so pages of photocopied materials that she would need. She headed off towards the Developement laboratory, part two of her plans. ((Continued in Developement lab.))
