Schooling fish need to kept in groups of atleast 3, but 6 or more is best.

Tank Size~

Please research the fish you are looking into for this information.

Feeding~

Schooling fish seem to love live and frozen foods, such as Brine Shrimp and Bloodworms. If you have a good source, fry are good also, and are like the chocolate of the fish world (find a fish that isnt a vegitarian and doesnt like fry. Yeah.) As with any fish, feed a staple of a high quality food, be it pellets or flakes.

Tank Mates~

Please research this topic for different fish.

Decor~

While they will not actively hide, schooling fish tend to like a densly planted tank (fake or real plants) so that if they feel threatend, espectially in smaller groups, they can zip into the plants and hide. They also like to have things to swim through, so something with lots of holes or plants of varying heights and leaves will keep them occupied.
