All my boys were infected! For some reason my girls are fine but there was sever hair lose and cuts on all my males. I was able to get rid of them but there was a cost. I lost two of my boys sad All because I had no money to get anything for them crying

I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with mites? Maybe some tips for not getting them in the future?

Edit: Forgot to mention what animal had the mites sweatdrop It's my adorable little ratties.
