So who is this guy?
Curio Name: Acre
Curio: Twig of a Maple tree. It has a bend in the middle that mimics an elbow, and two maple leaves cling to one end of the twig.
Guardian: Landon Woods
Item Stage: Yes
Starting Stage: Toddler
Gender: Male
Hair: Brown, shaggy hair. Messy and dirty, and I wouldn’t be surprised to find a few leaves and twigs in that mop.
Eyes: Reliant on the seasons. Green in the spring/summer, fades to brownish-red in the fall, and grayish-blue in the winter.
Skin: His right arm and left foot are bark, thus being dark brown and very rough textured. The rest of his skin has a slight brown tinge.
Special Traits: Acres’ entire right arm looks like the branch of a maple tree. It is slightly larger than his human left arm. The hand is also slightly larger and only has 4 digits. This arm has joints like a regular arm, however they are very stiff and unwieldy at his young age. It may take him a few years to become 100% comfortable with the joint manipulation. His left foot from the ankle down is also very tree-like in this manner.
Acres shoulders, collarbone area and top of his back are adorned with tiny maple leaves. These leaves bud and grow in the spring-time and fall away in autumn. He has a small ring of these tiny leaves growing around his left ankle, where the human calf and wooden foot meet.
Clothing Style: As a toddler, Acre does not embrace clothing, as his body doesn’t suit it well. He wears a pair of green cargo shorts with big pockets for stuffing full of acorns. As he grows older, he starts wearing vests and wife-beaters. He’s even been known to wear sleeves in the winter months.
Personality: Toddler Acre is wide eyed and grabby handed with the natural world, but somewhat timid with big cities. He is a little too loud for his guardians tastes, and far to hasty to attempt trial and error when he doesn’t understand something. He tries not to let the limitations of his body slow him down, but as he grows older he starts to become frustrated and slightly embarrassed about his unique physique. (He especially doesn’t think it’s cool that he “blooms” every spring).
Potential Powers/Skills: Acres branch arm is somewhat stronger than his human arm; about one and a half times stronger. He also discovers he has the crafty ability to root his foot or arm into natural surfaces (dirt, wood, clay, even some rocks). While he first only uses this for balance, Acre hones this ability to make him an expert climber.
Much later in his life, (not until at least teen) he discovers he has empathy for flora. He can pick up on the emotions of trees, flowers and even your lawn (can he hear it screaming when you cut it? Who knows…).
Likes: Climbing, Floating in water, Bitter foods, Tree sap, Sunlight

Name: Landon Woods
Age:26
Gender: Male
Hair: Dirty Blond hair, which is trimmed short and always kept looking professional.
Eyes: Light blue
Skin: White, fairly pale from lack of sunlight.
Clothing style: Landon style of dress is the typical young professional. He wears dress shirts, dress pants, a tie and a jacket to work everyday. On the weekends, he typically fancies a cardigan and jeans.
Bio: Landon Woods is not one of those people who looks back on High school with fond memories. He was a geek, and always a target for bullying. However, Landon was never sorry for how he was, and his pride in his scholastic abilities never wavered (even after a bully broke his arm). At home, Landon's scholastic achievements went largely unnoticed. His father was a lumber mill worker and spent months at a time away from home. Whenever he was home, he berated his boy about how he would never survive in the world if he wasn't physically capable. His mother was a secretary, and spent many nights out feeding her gambling addiction.
Despite being mostly alone in his educational endeavors, Landon was successful in obtaining a scholarship to a very prestigious university. This was quite lucky, as his mom had put his entire educational savings account into a slot machine. Landon Spent 4 years studying finance and graduated with honours. He was immediately offered a position at an accounting firm in a town far from his parents place, and happily accepted. He bought a small townhouse, a bike, and finally settled into a place where he could live a happier life.
Personality: The best way to describe Landon is self-reliant. He doesn't have many friends despite having spent 4 years in university. Due to the pressures of home and university, Landon picked up a bit of a penchant for cigarettes. People who talk to him might describe him as stuffy or boring, almost mechanical in nature. His co-workers know him a little better and have seen him make mistakes (confirming his humanity), and they know there are ways to get under his skin.
Likes: Math, Tea, Cigarettes, Reading the paper.
Dislikes: Crowds, TV, Cigarettes, Tax evasion.
