Ok, so no one started this yet.
Anyone planning on getting it? I'm still borderlined if I should or not. It looks AMAZING, but the new gen doesn't have me excited and I'm not sure. I might.
How about you guys? What are your opinions?

I will most definitely be getting it.
they added so many new pokemon, and the majority of them are actually good. There are a lot of new pokemon with cool new typings, like Bug/electric.
new abilities like sand throw, overconfidence, herbivore and heart of justic really shake things up.
the dreamworld!!!
they have REALLY shaken things up with that. pretty much every peokem has an alternate ability that can be obtiained through the dreamworld.
for example, nintales gets DROUGHT!!!!
once you have this pokemon, if its a female, and you breed it, the ability has a high chance of being passed down to its babies...
a lot of pokemon that were previously, underused/never used, now have better abilities that will guarantee they are more usable/useful in a team. for example, sandslash, he doenst get much play, but now that he has the dreamworld ability "sand throw" he can be an amasing sweeper.
plus, now legendaries aren't the only pokemon that learn drought and drizzle, ninetails and politoed get them through the dream world...
the battle sprite movement is a nice adition.
and of course, more battle options, now swhen playing friends you can play single, double, triple or rotation...
Im incredibly excited about rotation battles, I think they will be very fun...
there are seasons as well, certain area's are only excessible during certain seasons, each season last 1 month real time...
and finally, the "miracle shooter" allows you to use items during battles with friends and over wi-fi.... during battle doing certain actions gain you points, and you use the points to purchase items in battle, the better the item the more points.
anywyas, those are most of the reasons why I want to get it so bad blaugh
and I'll be getting white version, so I can get the black (electric,dragon) legendary blaugh

Lol, yeah I am getting it. I plan on getting Black at first, because I really like the Yin [White] legendary pokemon. Also, I like some of them, but most of the pokemon are a bit weird. I plan on using faves from the past rather than most of the newer ones, although I will use them. =3

no, as in, NO old pokemon until after the E4...
the whole game is suppsoed to be ALL new pokemon.
and then after you beat the E4, THEN you can find old pokes like geodoe and ninetales, etc.

But, it IS looking good. I saw a battle sequence on youtube and it's so much more jazzed up that I'm curious.
Also, yeah. There will be no old Pokemon until after you beat the E4. I was curious about that after watching the vid and saw I knew NONE of the Pokemon.

Definitely getting both.
I'm kinda bummed that the fire starter is part fighting AGAIN. Kinda like how the Grass and water evos look, though. I might have to go with them.

i usually pick the fire starter, for one simple reason: fire types are rare for the most part. they are also, to my knowledge, the only three stage fire types available, outside magmortar. may be forgetting someone.

I don't feel racist I'm picking the black version so I can get the white legendary. The idea your 'racist' by picking one is so stupid. Ignore them. =3
And I'm getting Mijumaru. =3
I either pick fire or water.
But personally I hate the fire type.
Too many fire/fighting types now, it use to be special and now it's over done in my mind. :/
And I like Mijumaru's evolutions.
I never pick grass but I like the grass one.
