Marin let go of Jiro and watched him. He was really no use when drunk but she didn't think he had a place to stay for the night. She sighed since this was going to be a first for a commoner to stay at her palace. It was automatic if she did that she wanted something from him. "Jiro?"

"Eh?" Jiro asked loudly, blinking. He swung his blade around, trying to sober up a little. "Uhh..." he was close to belching fire into this woman's face.

Marin smirked and took a few steps back if needed she could douse him in water again. "Maybe you should sit down?" She put her hands on her hips waiting for him to sober up more before she played 20 questions with him.

"Uh.... Hold on a second..." Jiro said. His skin started flaring, sweating the liquor out of his system. After a quick blaze, Jiro was sober again. "Ugh... " he blinked. "Hello!" he waved nicely to Marin. He observed the woman, who captured his interests.

Marin watched Jiro, "feeling better now." She watched him curiously since she wanted to ask what he was but didn't want to be rude about it. "You almost burnt the bar down if you don't remember."

"Meh... Don't care much for bars anyway." Jiro said. "So why did you drag me out here?" Jiro asked, sheathing his blade silently. He gazed at Marin, eyeing her up and down.

Marin raise an eyebrow seeing him eye her, "Wanted to know if you wanted a job?" She moved her hands from her hips to cross them over her chest. "Plus I can help you get to know the city better."

"I don't plan on sticking aound too long, hon." Jiro responded, watching her move her hands to chest. "Besides, work doesn't suit me, I'm a traveler." he added, smiling softly.

Marin watched him, "How about a temporary bodyguard?" She looked toward her home, "I was attacked earlier and I have a guest at my home and her room was destroyed." She then looked back at Jiro, "The pay is high," she pointed out and tilted her head to her castle. "Just for visit," she was tired of Amelie and having to protect her and herself.

"In my experience, fighting fire with fire results in a bigger fire." Jiro snarkily responded, observing her again. "But fine, I'll take the job. As long as I have my benefits." he smiled with a funny look.

Marin rolled her eyes, "Not unless you can control fire," she responded quickly. She then looked at him, "What benefits do you speak of?" She was curious since she never heard anyone say that before.

*Mercy sat atop the wall and watched as they spoke to each other, her ears caught every word as she swung her legs back and forth as a child would.* "You know. . . " *She yelled.* "It's very easy to sneak into this place. . . . Just a friendly observation."

"Control it?" Jiro asked, "Well... Look at this." Jiro scanned the area and quickly found a tree. With a quick snap of the finger, the tree lit on fire. He swayed his arms in a pulling motion and the inferno rushed towards him. Once again, he snapped his fingers, the blaze transforming into two orbs, which he then clapped together. The fire then vanished, leaving a smell of smoke in the air.
"Oh, benefits? You know very well what I mean." Jiro peered, looking up at the girl on the wall. "Is she an enemy?" Jiro asked, starting to heat up. His eyes flashed red threatingly; as fire rose from his fists. He had dealt with the likes of demons disguised as children before; and her energy level was off for that of a mere child.

Marin sighed hearing the girl and rubbed her temps, "Yes I have come to realize this." She was getting the worst headache all she knew is that once she attacked another fraction they were going to wish she hadn't. "Leave her for now," she looked at Jiro. She then looked at the girl, "What is that you want?" Her guard was up more than usual now.
