Pokemon: Virtual Adventures
First Year: Kanto Crossings
Within the worlds of the virtual realm stories are told telling of all kinds of heroes both great and small and how their lives made a change that would last forever. However, one story does stand out among them; a story where two similar beings cross paths unexpectedly, and create a legend for themselves.
This is the story of Pokémon Trainer KC Mirei, The son of Legend Trainer Wes Leo Mirei, and Shadow Girl Rui Mirei and of SMART Agent KC a metallic robot known to most as a virtual humanoid computer program or in simple terms a program. These two come from completely different backgrounds as well as two different worlds, one a friendly cool neighborhood kid in the Pokemon World while the other a tough, lean seeker of truth and justice in the world of the Internet. These two may seem like complete opposites due to this differing background but in truth Agent KC is the program double of KC Mirei. Both didn’t know about the other and didn’t know that their paths would cross all because Agent KC wished to learn about being a Pokemon trainer. What caused this curiosity about Pokemon and Pokemon training? We may never know but anyhow enough talking let’s play the game

However there is one picture that stands out in the center of the room. It shows a guy about 30 in a blue waistcoat who looks like a slightly older Wes and a young woman about 28 who is dressed about the same as Rui and several pokémon including a Pikachu, a Celebi, an Espeon an Umbreon, and a Togetic. In her arms was a baby in a sky blue blanket. This photo was the photo KC’s family took when KC the baby in the blanket was introduced to Celebi the legendary time traveling pokémon who had befriended Rui and Wes during their adventures.
KC had heard all the stories of Wes and Yuki adventures in Orre and dreamed of going on his own adventures however due to Rui Grandparents passing on about a year ago KC stayed close to his mother while volunteering his time at Professor Oak’s lab taking care of the pokémon there including his favorite a Squirtle. He did want to be a trainer of Pokémon but he wanted to make sure his father got back before he left to start his journey but Wes didn’t say when he be back. However that would all change when his mother called him down to the living room
“KC” Rui’s voice called up “Come on down the Professor’s here to see you.”
KC opened his eyes and said “I’ll be right down Mom.” He got up and out of his bed and stretched letting out a big yawn. “I wonder what Professor Oak wants?” He thought outloud.
His computer suddenly made a musical noise.
KC looked at his computer and said “huh.”
On his screen it had a box with the symbol of the world and something being downloaded off the Internet. This file was called KC.EXE and it download area was unknown
KC looked and used his mouse to view the details of this download but then the screen went fuzzy and a static sound could be heard.
KC said “What in the world”
All of a sudden the computer shot out a beam of light and hit KC directly in the forehead
KC cried out and crashed to the ground and looked to be KOed
“KC?” His Mother called “Everything alright up there?”
His body image flickered and temporary turned into a metallic robot look alike of him with a detective’s coat over a Man in black outfit but then returned to normal. The computer made an beep sound and said “Download completed.”
“KC?” called his mother again and footsteps could be heard as Rui walked up the stairs.
KC groaned slightly
Rui entered into the room her overall looks was the same as when she was younger but she changed her outfit to a blue knee length skirt and purple blouse but still had that crescent shaped moon necklace. When she saw KC she gasped and knelt by him. “KC!”
Meanwhile in KC’s head which looked like a room with a huge screen above a computer console which was the basic layout of anything that could process information, and sitting in a chair was a metallic skinned humanoid wearing a detective’s coat over a Man in black outfit. This being had attempted to download himself into the world and was using KC’s computer as his entry point however due to KC being so dang close to his computer the transfer was intercepted and absorbed into KC head.
“System Check activate.” Came the voice from the humanoid which sounded like a human male in his 20’s “Basic Functions online, sensors active and running, motor controls full function, Memory banks fully downloaded. Advance system check, equipped weapons accessories and advanced abilities have been deactivated due to mysterious command sequences will do a full system check when in a secure location to figure out this sequence. System check complete activating system now” The being closed his eyes
KC’s eyes opened slowly and he was staring into his mother face. “Mom?” He said in a slightly confused tone. With activating the system the being had taken full control of KC so whatever he said KC said
Rui said “Are you alright sweetie, did you fall on something.”
KC said “I don’t know” he looked around and saw that the rug underneath him was bunched up and a memory file suggested that he had slipped on the rug before. “I think it was this rug again…”
Rui sighed “I should get a new one the padding wearing off.”
KC said “Yeah…” He sighed “until then I’ll just lay here and make sure the world stops spinning before I get up.”
Rui smiled, her son still had his wit about him so he was alright “Well when you get up Professor Oak wanted to see you.”
KC said “Yeah? Alright I’ll be down in a second”
Rui said “I’m just glad you’re not seriously injured.”
KC said “Me too Mom.” He sighed
Rui went down the stairs
Back in KC’s head the real KC was coming too. When the beam hit his head he had literally been ejected from the control seat and now was seeing everything inside his head no longer in control
“uh… man what hit me.” He thought
“Alright area clear activate full check…” came the voice of the metallic being
“What the?” KC thought as he looked.
He saw the metallic being typing what appeared to be a large computer console. The being was talking to itself “Scan results say that due to game program loaded into virtual room that all advanced weapons are disabled until further notice.”
“Who is that?” KC wondered as he slowly moved toward the being
The being took no notice of KC being linked to the outside sensors blinded him from seeing there was someone else in the head “Alright…” He said “with that out of the way. I must go see what Professor Oak wanted of me. Memory tells me that Professor Oak’s a top researcher of Pokémon. His main goal is to study and understand all things Pokemon familiarity to creator parents and their knowledge of the virtual realm.”
“Virtual realm?” KC wondered “What is he talking about?”
Back outside KC headed down the stairs and into the living room. Professor Oak was feeding a small treat to a white bird pokémon called a Togetic.
“Togetic the Happiness Pokémon,” The being thought having access a database containing a good amount of information on Pokémon species he had downloaded for the game. “The evolved form of Togepi. Type… normal and flying… stats… strong defense and special defense… Moderate special attack, low speed and attack power. Access story data on this pokemon.
“I know what Togetic is” KC thought “She was snagged and purified by my dad and Mom kept her like a pet so that incase something happened she would have a pokémon to guard her and the house and believe it or not Togetic has a mean swift attack.”
“Data Accessed and stored for interaction purposes” The being responded
“Hey Hey, that my memory you thief.” KC growled
Togetic finished her treat and saw KC “To-ge!” She said and fluttered over to KC shoulder and rubbed her head against KC cheek
KC smiled and gave her a small pet on the head “Hey Togetic.”
Togetic cooed
“Ah there you are KC. I heard you had a slight fall you okay?” Professor Oak said
KC said “Never Better.”
“That’s good” Oak said “Hate to have our newest trainer start his journey with a bump on his head”
“What” The real KC thought
“Newest Trainer?” KC said outloud
“Your Father called today KC.” Rui spoke up “He still going to be out for another month or so and he knows your 12th birthday has just passed so he was sorry that he missed it”
The being accessed what information he had on KC’s parents and sighed “I forgive him. It’s got to be tough being a family man and a legend trainer at the same time.”
Oak said “He also told me to get you prepared for starting your journey and with all the time you spent in my lab helping out. I’m pretty sure you know how to handle a pokémon. I mean Squirtle almost treats you like his trainer”
“He does?” KC said “huh.” The being accessed KC memory and learned that indeed Squirtle and him work together all the time and get along like true friends
Oak said “I’m sure he’ll be the perfect starter for you.”
Rui said “I think so too. You and him always look like you’re having fun working together while listening to music”
KC said “Then I guess Squirtle’s my best choice. So when does my dad want me to start my journey?”
“He wants you to start it as soon as possible. Oak responded “I was hoping to aim for tomorrow but if you’re not ready I understand.”
KC said “I don’t think I have a problem with it…”
The real KC thought “Hold up what are you saying, of course I have a problem with it. Dad promised to see me off”
KC quickly turned sad and said “But I was kind of hoping to have Dad here to see me off.”
Togetic cooed and rubbed against KC’s face in a caring manner
Rui walked over and rubbed KC shoulders “I know sweetie but you know your Dad busy.”
KC sighed “Yeah I know. I just don’t want to leave you alone Mom.”
Rui smiled and said “Don’t worry about me KC besides I got Togetic to keep me company”
Togetic chirped and fluttered over to Yuki shoulder.
Rui petted Togetic and said “I should be fine.”
KC smiled and said “Yeah okay…” He turned to Professor Oak “Professor looks like Tomorrow starts a journey for me what time do you want me to stop by.”
Oak said “Anytime good. You know how to get in though the corral.”
KC nodded “Yeah I do.”
Oak said “Very well then I’ll see you tomorrow. Have a pleasant evening”
Rui said “You too Professor say hi to the family for us”
Oak said “I always do Rui,” and exited out of the house
KC sighed “Well that was kind of quick and painless.”
Rui said “I know it seems a little sudden KC but you know your Dad wants you to start when you’re young.”
KC said “I understand… and you know I have wanted to become a trainer for a while now.”
Rui blinked in surprise “You have?” She asked “This is the first you mentioned it.”
KC said “Training Pokémon sounds like a fun challenge and I always like a challenge”
Rui smiled and said “You sound just like your father you know.”
KC grinned and said “Like Father like Son I always say.”

Several Pokémon of various species appear
Both KC and the girl give commands
Squirtle plants it’s hands and goes into a style filled flip and shoots a bunch of powerful bubbles
Charmander leaps into the air and shoots several fireballs
Pokémon a heart so true
Our courage will pull us through You teach me, and I'll teach you
The attacks explode sending some of the pokémon flying and KOing them and the others beat a hasty retreat

KC and the girl both cheer as their pokémon return to them
A Machamp and a hiker looking guy watches them with interest and walks over to them
The group of trainers and pokémon are talking together but then the robot shoots past making all of them jump
Every challenge along the way with courage I will face
The robot continues his run
I will battle every day To claim my rightful place
The robot sees something and stops getting into a defensive stance.
Come with me, the time is right
There's no better team yeah
Several metallic beings similar to the robot wearing Team Rocket clothes are seen attacking trainers and their pokémon.
Arm in arm, we'll win the fight
The robot hands turn into a large sword on his left and a blaster on his right
It's always been our dream
It's always been our dream
The robot charges at the other beings and engages them in hand to hand combat.
Pokémon it's you and me
I know it's my destiny
The Team Rocket bots are seemingly caught off guard by lone ranger style of attack and several are taken down by blasts and slashes shattering into small glowing bit like pieces. The others try and gang up on the lone bot
Pokémon...ooh, you're my best friend
In a world we must defend
But the bot is able to evade their attacks and proves to be master the various elements as well by casting Geysers of Water, Large Fireballs, Bolts of Lightning, and heavy slabs of earth and plants at the Team Rocket bots causing them to shatter as well.
Pokémon a heart so true
Another robot appears but this one like a giant version engages the lone bot and shoot him with powerful blasts.
Our courage will pull us through
The lone bot puts up a barrier in front of him and takes the hits and sliding backwards but then charges up and jumps backwards while aiming at the giant
You teach me, and I'll teach you
Pokémon
The lone robot unleashes a powerful blast and the giant bot takes the hit and miniature explosions seem to occur on various joints signalling it about to blow

Pokémon
The Giant bot shatters to bits in an explosion and the trainers quickly catch up with the robot and have confused faces on what just happened
The robot tells them what he saw and uses hand signals to make his point clearer.
Meanwhile in the sky, A Mewtwo wearing a scarf and someone that looks like Giovanni is watching the trainers and the robot and the Giovanni points at the robot and Mewtwo gets a thoughtful look. Off in the distance another guy in a causal outfit is watching Mewtwo and Giovanni with a suspicious look and Wes and Rui are behind him Wes has a serious expression while Rui is worried. They looks down and see the trainers running with the robot in the led heading toward what appears to be a large city fighting the bots that get in their way
Pokémon, it's you and me
The robot dashes ahead shooting focusing on a group of enemies and more bots quickly surround the trainers
The girl, KC, and the hiker go back to back in a triangle formation and give commands to their pokemon who have seemed to increase in number gaining a Weepinbell, a Magneton, a Geodude, an Espeon a Hitmonchan and a Hitmonlee along with their first ones.

Squirtle slams the head of a bot and flips off of it then suddenly glows during this flip and evolves to a Wartortle and lands on more slamming them even stronger
In a world we must defend
Pokémon, a heart so true
Charmander takes on several bots and they all come at him like a football team
Our courage will pull us through
Charmander quickly get dogpiled but then a glowing light surges and sends the bots flying as a Charmeleon spins out of it with his claws slashing
You teach me, and I'll teach you

The bots shatter and the trainers and pokemon trade high fives and nudges of congratulations and then turn to see the robot signaling for them to come into the city
The Trainers nod and run to catch up

Another robot appears but this one like a giant version engages the lone bot and shoot him with powerful blasts.

The lone bot puts up a barrier in front of him and takes the hits and sliding backwards but then charges up and jumps backwards while aiming at the giant

Meanwhile in the sky, A Mewtwo wearing a scarf and someone that looks like Giovanni is watching the trainers and the robot and the Giovanni points at the robot and Mewtwo gets a thoughtful look. Off in the distance another guy in a causal outfit is watching Mewtwo and Giovanni with a suspicious look and Wes and Rui are behind him Wes has a serious expression while Rui is worried. They looks down and see the trainers running with the robot in the led heading toward what appears to be a large city fighting the bots that get in their way

The girl, KC, and the hiker go back to back in a triangle formation and give commands to their pokemon who have seemed to increase in number gaining a Weepinbell, a Magneton, a Geodude, an Espeon a Hitmonchan and a Hitmonlee along with their first ones.

Squirtle slams the head of a bot and flips off of it then suddenly glows during this flip and evolves to a Wartortle and lands on more slamming them even stronger

Charmander quickly get dogpiled but then a glowing light surges and sends the bots flying as a Charmeleon spins out of it with his claws slashing
