*Amelie wandered into the forest, she sat in a clearing of flowers and felt more like a commoner then ever.* "If only my aunt saw me sitting with this dress in the dirt!" *She giggled at the thought and thought it had been a miracle she got away from Maverick. Being a Princess was hard and often she hated having to be followed. She enjoyed the scattered sun through the trees and layed her head back in reverance of the moment.*

Grimstone stood perfectly still in his black dragon form and blended in with the shadows as if he was one. There was a small heard of deer just inches from a clearing in the forest. Grimstone lunged forward scooping a deer up in each clawed foot and was able to snatch two up into his jaws. He burst into the clearing the ground shaking and the deers bones in his legs breaking instantly killing all four of them. His red eyes caught hold of the girl in the clearing and he froze. A string of blood oozing from his monstrous jaws from the two deer confined within them. How had he not noticed her before, he was sure his presence was not at all presentable let alone he probably looked like something that could only be described in a book of horror.

Terra yawned, stretching as she woke from a deep sleep. She blinked up at the streams of sunlight breaking through the canopy of the tree. Giving a sigh, she jumped down from the tree, landing silently. She looked up just in time to see a a dragon scooping up some deer, "Hmmm... Haven't seen a dragon in a while," she thought to herself.

*Amelie didn't bother looking or even getting up, she had layed down and her hands were pointed to the sky, her skirts a tangled mass around her legs, and her hair curled and covered in various bits of grass or flower petals. She did however speak, but very softly.* "I can feel the deer dying." *She had these moments when she went outside of her bratty self, they were rare. She didn't care if man or beast had killed them, she kept her eyes to the sky and her head on the ground. She liked it out here best considering she couldn't summon a body out of thin air, she like being near a cemetery, and a very old one was less then a mile away. Her aunt never allowed the dead to be buried within the walls, often Amelie thought that to be her fault.*

Grimstone swallowed the two dear in his huge jaws and looked at the girl with deep curiosity through his red eyes. He sat down in a sense and took the deer from his right front foot and chomped on it a couple of times before swallowing it. He extended his mind to her, Does it hurt you to feel them die? The question may seem random however, there was a purpose. He looked at her as if a dog would look at a stranger his long neck arched high and proud though his head tilted slightly. His black scaled skin reflecting light as if it was a rare jewel. His wings were folded behind him and were resting against his back. Grimstone's tail, snaked its way around his legs and encircled himself as he continued eating savoring the fresh meat and blood.

Abrie had just wondered into a large clearing full of wild flowers. She looked around,and saw something, so she decided that she might get closer. As she walked she smelt blood, and an urge almost took over. Still she forced herself to try to keep silent. Until her stomach growled. She froze in place.

*Amelie shook her head.* "Not a pain, just a feeling." *She shruged her shoulders but still didn't bother to get up.* "Not many people come to this part of the forest." *She spoke but it was almost to no one and anyone at the same time.*

Grimstone heard the sound of a hungry belly and he looked around casually still snacking on the deer in his claws he found the newcomer in the field with his red eyes he then ripped a leg off of a deer and tossed it with his mouth to the hungry person, but then he looked back to the strange girl, reaching out to her mind again he spoke, What brings you to this place girl?

"The sky." *She simply replied then stood up and brushed her dress down. Making sure everything was off of it. She lifted her eyes and took a step back. Standing as still as she could she watched who she had been speaking to.* "What brings you here?"

Grimstone gave her the equivalent to a smile in his dragon form and he spoke lightly into her mind as he raised the last carcass of deer in his sharp claws, Hunting, I grew quite hungry and needed a decent lunch before I could do anything else today His voice in her head was deep and gruff yet calm and gentle. The dragon sat to his full height as he began to munch on the last deer he had. She didn't seem as if she was to concerned or scared that he was sitting not fifteen feet from her.

That is probably because I do not show my true form very often here for fear of being attacked. His words flowed into her mind as he spoke them, There are many prejudices against dragons, yet they confuse Dragons with other lesser flying lizards. We do not take pride in destroying and mutilating without great reason. As where the others do so because they have no self control The dragon knelt down instead of sitting resting his legs a little and he stretched opening his large jaws in a dragon like yawn and spreading his wings. A little cloud of dark ash escaped his mouth and was carried off in the light breeze. Had he had chosen to use his breath attack the ash would be as hot as a volcano and even more poisonous than one.

I myself have quite a bit to fear, I may be the oldest dragon in existence. There is a slight price on my head, and being what I am doesn't help me anymore. Realizing he shouldn't tell her how much of an abomination he was to his race he decided not to expose too much about himself As a great majority of dragons do I have a horde that I have excavated and keep my treasures. It is within the city. Though I have several other hordes throughout the world. His necked craned high and very proud like as he let the words slip into her mind. He still had honor even if he was an abomination to his race, and for that he carried himself as a dragon should. With pride.
