'Run Zoey!'
A voice had screamed that she couldn't make out was screaming as she ran as fast as she could regardless. Looking back only once she screamed as she realized that there were half rotted creatures following her, intent on killing. Green goo in front of her she easily dogged, only to be tangled into a web from a creature with a long tongue. A gun shoot.
Zoey awoke in a cold sweat, remembering a few scattered memories of the old days, the days before she had met the other three. Ahh yes, those three were definitely characters. None of their personalities were compatible, yet they all worked together for a good amount of time to find salvation. Then something unthinkable happened, Bill...how could he? The glue that held them together had disappeared forever leaving them nothing but shells of their former partnerships. Soon after finding cover and safe ground they split. Leaving her to fend for herself with 12 bullets and an axe. It had been 3 months sense then, and still she had the nightmares.
Getting up off the cold floor, she moved towards the barricaded door looking out the small hole she made for herself. She made a small noise as she realized that there were no zombies in sight. They...vanished? Picking up her axe and putting the gun in the holster she broke a board on the door, opening it up slowly looking out to the long hallway of the mall she found refuge in for the night. Looking a bit dumb founded, she looked around cautiously as she stepped out into the hallway.
