History:Thieving has always been the prime occupation for Jonah, having started the "hobby" at the ripe young age of 12. Small things, here and there, nothing too amazing or flashy. But he would always get a wonderful thrill at the thought of avoiding detection as he slipped this trinket or that coin into his pocket, up his sleeve, or in his shoe without anyone noticing.
This continued for years, and even after the boy Impressed at 18, but eventually, Ghenza's tight knit community atmosphere caught up to Jonah, and he was caught thieving by a fellow rider on one luckless day. Jonah still stands that he never made a mistake, and getting caught was a fluke.
Now, he calls the Nowhere Isles his home.
Appearance: Dark brown hair, green eyes, 6'0", with a handsome face, athletic/thief's build, and a distinguishing little scar beneath his right eye
Personality:
Virtues?: He's quite charming....he can even talk you out of your pants! (lol >_>) A thief and very good at his chosen job, he can sweet talk almost anyone out of almost anything. He is also quite resourceful, and rather clever, using both traits to help in his thievery.
Flaws: J'ah loves to steal. The thrill of the hunt, so to speak, as he slips something up his sleeve, right under the noses of his companions, regardless of the risk or consequences. (Later on, as he gets older and being separated from his dragon gets to him more and more, stealing becomes more of an obsession)
He is also quite arrogant, which is what i inevitably what got him caught, and even as he sits in prison, he boasts that he would have never have been caught if it hadn't been for the sun in his eye, or the darkness being too dark....of course it wasn't anything -he- did wrong.
Tied in with that is his strict belief that he can NEVER EVER BE WRONG, and he will argue someone to death if he believes he's right. Which he always is...........

Hey, Ash! I have a weakness for sneaky thief characters so I'm charmed by him already. wink
Before we can accept it his backstory needs to be more fleshed out. Keep in mind Ghenza is very tightknit community and their supplies are very limited, so stealing too much too fast would mean he would get caught much faster. We'd like to know how much he was taking and when he get caught. Even who caught him because it might be relevant to RP or just the prisoner's list later. (You can be vague, of course! Just saying 'another bluerider', for example, is detailed enough.)
On the issue of stealing, it sounds like he has kleptomania, which is a disorder. This is going to slowly change in the future for some places more than others (and is currently possible in NI with certain colors) but as far as Ghenza at the time he Impressed, dragons don't Impress to people with disorders.
Him being a thief is fine (and he can even veer into kleptomania after Impression under the nagging of his dragon), but to start with, we'll need you to change that. Perhaps he was more greedy than addicted to the concept of stealing itself? Maybe he just likes the thrill of danger and wanted to see if he could get away with it?
