Appearance:
She stands tall for a drow at 5'6". She has well toned muscles a product of her profession. She keeps her black hair a product of years working the forge croped short as to keep it away from the flames. Durring her meatings with others she commonly appears a well off merchant in black and silver merchant garb, a black sapphire necklace with a silver chain hanging on her neck and her family signet ring a black diamond inlaid in a silver band.

Background:
Raised in a small little known underdark town Sabbreena was raised to work the forge by her father. Her mother had taught her magics to enhance the items she had hence learned to forge. Taking the knowledge she learned from them she sought out the Artificiers guild to further hone her arts. Learning the basics of artifice the art of crafting magic arms and armor. Staying with the guild, and mastering the art of forging, she was finaly told to strike out on her own and set up a branch of the artificiers guild in one of the larger cities further west of there home. She gladly agreed to try seeing the potential for gain. Heading to the market she bought a tamed large black wolf brought down from the surface. Heading back to her family forge she used her abilities to craft it a collar of darkvision so as it could see in the dark and defend her far better. Grabing her forging gear crafted for her by her father, her longsword, a crossbow with two quivers four daggers and a few changes of clothing, she called her wolf and set out for adventure.

Progressive means she developes them through roleplay-
her current progress level is minor quirks such as, pristine or light
nothing that does damage or protects just yet, she will learn those things later through trial and error.



combat/ weakness:
Physicaly fit she knows the basics of sword play and crossbow use, but isnt great at them. She would prefer to take you down by fist in a strait up brawl, however cross her too badly and she does know how to use her forge hammer if neerby as a more than efficient weapon.

just a freindly tip your drow seems a little young to have done all of that since im pretty sure 100 years as a drow is equal to about 10 years as a human you may want to adjust your drows age accordingly

Dot Hack my good man, to play devil's advocate for a moment, I will counter that actually, elves mature physically (talking like a 13 - 15 year old human here where all the sexual parts all work maturely and basic work can be done) between 60 - 80, and while surface elves mature emotionally at 100 - 120, drow are forced to mature rather early due to high expectation, severe consequences and harsh upbringing.

At age 100, her character is more probably akin to a 17 year old human.

You could say that an elf child, especially a drow one, who was a prodigy, and trained to do nothing else might be able to lay claim to competitive skill in blacksmithing in the same way some high school children are sometimes enrolled in advanced college courses.

Thus, I can see how her character could lay claim to notable smithing ability at this point.

I will say though, that she would be perceived as a youth and if she flaunted her skills without reservation, more aged and established smiths would resent her impetuosness (which is often the case with young prodigies amidst their elders in our real world).

She may have skill, but she probably lacks experience, which I believe she did allude to in her description (though I may have misinterpreted).

Ok I feel I should clarify a few things rather than bump up the age just yet.

Artificers through training learn to use less materials than conventional smiths, allowing them to sell there craft cheeper yes, however while the guild did deem her capable of setting up her own shop cheeper, mundane weapons at this point would be her only advantage from a marketering stand point, as like pointed out she lacks the experiance, to do mass quantities of mastercraft items for well anyone seeking to buy them. As a result if a mastercraft arms order came through she would have to refer the order to someone else until she gained more experience in the trade. however an item for a single person she could craft for them as its a single item and she can pay greater attention to the detail. Mundane items in mass quantity however she could probably mannage the order. Thats from the working alone stand point, working with someone else however she could do also, to a benifit of the bussness, either way it sets up a branch of the artificier guild in whatever city/shop signs her on either through a shop on her own, or in someone else's as an artificers' guild liason.

I personally don't see any reason to increase the age and I think your explanation adds even further credibility. smile
