Alice was at the public pool today, watching kids swim, she hoped that no one would drown... again. That was just getting plain annoying. If you don't know how to swim. Don't go to the deep end. Simple. Alice's short blond hair was blowing in the soft warm breeze, she felt superior, sitting on that lifeguard chair. People seemed to be enjoying themselves. Alice hoped that no one would pee in the pool again, that was gross. She saw a couple of boys inside the pool checking her out. EW. She thought, Perverts. Suddenly those boys went straight into the water and they were struggling to get up. After a good 20 seconds, she let them up. They stared at her, and she smirked evilly. "You guys over there okay?" They nodded and swam away, creeped out.

She stepped off the chair, the heat was annoying her. She felt... like... she was on fire. Alice hated fire. It was so painful.... Everyone who knew Alice, knew she hated water. It was her break anyway, she decided to head to one of the vending machines in the shade and get some chips. Oh so boring! Her shift was over in an hour, thank goodness. Anne walked away and ate the chips by the pool, her feet in the water.

Alice's shift was over. She had to save.... Like... 3 people in an hour. All of them 6 year olds, and Alice being Alice, she had to scold the parents dor not making their kids wear floaties. Her phone rang, it was her 'friend' Maya, she let it go to voicemail. The girl went into the changing room and got dressed. She was kind of hungry from all that swimming. Her stomach rumbled. "Shut up, stomach!" She said as she left the pool area.
