Gently was very happy with how things were going, as far as her introduction to the Negaverse was concerned. She had made a great Captain, and knew there was another member on her team to get along with. They had strength in numbers, and the sheer number of doors that opened was astounding. She was truly excited to cause some chaos with them.
But first, she had to learn the basics.
Her Captain had asked to give her some training, and then they decided to come over to her place, so no one would interrupt them. Gently lived alone, in a nice sized house in a quiet neighborhood. It had been her parents home, before they had moved back to England, and she had been living there since she was a teenager.
She had given Sassolite directions, not worried about her 'human' identity since they were partners in crime now, and was waiting for her to knock on the door. She even had a snack plate out, though she imagined it would be more business than a social call.
Painite had a lot to learn. Particularly in the area of physical fighting. She wasn't the best at hand to hand, and her weapon, she believed, wasn't the most useful thing in the world. But maybe she just didn't know how to use it properly.
Mr. Saddles was still useful, of course, but more as a silent minion and tool than a weapon.

Skye had the address and so she was on her way to her new lieutenant's house. She was wearing a short dress, thick white tights and a very posh looking coat with scarf and hat, all looking rather expensive. Then again Skye never went anywhere without looking her best, even if she was about to fight someone and teach them the best way to kill a senshi.
She found the house easy enough and knocked on the door. She wasn't sure what to expect as she hadn't got round to meeting the girl as a civilian. She knew she was older but that didn't really bother her.
She waited for the door to open, the snow falling on her head. It was really cold out here and she had found walking in heels in the snow was generally a bad idea but again she looked good, so who cared?
"Oh come on..." She cursed under her breath. Maybe that was someone coming now? Oh she hoped so!

Gently hurried to the door when she heard it, almost bouncing off the sofa as she made her way. She opened it without looking, since she was only expecting one person, and grinned when she saw Skye. Gently was dressed rather simply, in a blouse with a vest over, and casual slacks. She could look cute when she wanted, but didn't put much effort into her day to day look.
Maybe that stemmed from some kind of laziness in regards to fashion. Or in general, as her mind often had many other things to turn over.
"Come in! It looks cold out there," she stepped back and let her new friend in, closing the door quickly so the heat of the house didn't get out. She loved the cold weather, but not inside her house.
"How are you? I put out some food, if you'd like. But I mostly just pushed things around so we have some space." She didn't want to chitchat too much, knowing she had a lot to learn, and the sooner they started, the better. Plus, she didn't want to annoy her Captain.

Skye rather liked this. The door was open and she was invited to enter and doing so was like being treated by royalty. She was being offered food and all sorts. Oh she could so get use to this!
"I should probably learn your name. I am Skye." She didn't bother giving her surname it wasn't important really and well she had no reason to give it. Skye was at least happy to see that there was a good area for them to have a battle.
Before waiting for any answers or anything Skye powered up. Her clothes changing to those that Gently had seen before. She looked like a negaverse captain should do, she even wore the expression on her face. She was a captain and she was here meaning business. She moved into the middle of the room and turned to face Gently.
"Attack me."

Gently, making sure all the windows were covered and no one would be able to see them, nodded her head as she powered up, summoning her hobby horse. She wasn't planning on using Mr. Saddles much, as she needed to learn hand to hand combat just as much as she did fighting with a toy.
Which, really, was an odd thing to be thinking with sincerity.
"Gently, by the way," she introduced herself, not giving her last name, either. Not because she was being secretive, but because she didn't exactly like her last name, and preferred when people called her Gently, or even Gent. She got a lot of random nicknames from people, and that was just fine.
So long as they weren't calling her Ponsonby.
"Uh!" Painite tilted her head, looking at Mr. Saddles for a moment, trying to figure out how to just... attack. Without any pre-planning, she found she felt a bit lost. Her mind turned and she nodded, charging in and trying to feint to one side, before swinging Mr. Saddles the other way at her Captain.

Sass just nodded as Gently said her name after powering up, what an odd name for this girl. The hobby horse was a strange first weapon though more useful then hers had been. She was half tempted to summon her own weapon but she didn't need to e injuring her lieutenant that badly.
Sass watched as Painite ran towards her. Sass measured the speed, height of the room and how much space they all had. The room wasn't as big as she would have personally liked and so as the hobby horse tried to connect it's head to her, she ran towards Painite and dropped, skidding and kicking the lieutenants legs out from below her.
Sass rolled over and stood up turning to look at Painite again.
"Come on, keep going." She wasn't going to explain what she was doing, she wanted to make her fight. If Painite was going to learn she could learn making mistakes with someone who didn't want her dead.

Painite hit the ground when she felt her legs kicked out from under her. She was shocked, and rolled away from her Captain to get herself back to her feet. She frowned, looking surprised, but the frown didn't linger for long. She grinned and nodded her head.
"Okay, okay, that was a freebie!" She announced, like she had been expecting that. It was all in the presentation, after all. Stay confident, stay aware. She reminded herself of these things, and brought her weapon up in front of her.
Since Painite was on the smaller side, she tried to be fast. With the boosts being powered up came with, she felt she had a fair shot against anyone, so long as she planned properly.
She charged, then bounced this time, keeping her feet off the floor so they couldn't get knocked from under her, bringing her weapon down at Sassolite's head this time.

Sass just let her comment slide. A freebie as if!
Sass watched as Painite moved and as she jumped Sass did some sort of forward roll like thing across the floor avoiding the lieutenants attack. She then stood up and looked at the lieutenant, eyeing up the horse head somewhat.
"Send your weapon away. We fight hand to hand then you can learn how to bring that into the equation." Sassolite was certain that weapon of hers could cause someone serious injury if they were hit hard enough on the head with it and so she wanted to make sure that didn't happen to her. After all a Lieutenant needed to learn the basics first right?

Painite landed hard on her feet, legs straight, sending a shudder up her spine. She looked at Sassolite, frowning thoughtfully. No weapon? She supposed she needed to learn how to fight without it, too. At the moment she didn't know how to do either very well.
She sent Mr. Saddles off for a break, then looked at her Captain.
"Alright, so... I should just... try to punch you?" she asked, imagining the order to attack her still stood. She flexed her hands, pretending to stretch, then ran toward her. She clenched her hand into a fist, which was actually a rather strange feeling for her, since she wasn't really used to fighting with her fists.
She brought it back, though, and swung for Sass's jaw, going for a straightforward attempt because she was unsure of herself, and was sure Sass would show her why this was a bad idea in a moment.

Sass had no idea what her lieutenant was thinking, maybe she had seen too many movies. She dodged the punch moved and pinned Painite up against the wall.
"Okay lets start from the beginning. You defend. I will hit you continually and you have to just block everything. You need to learn what someone is planning to do but their body posture and watching how they are reacting to things. It's why trying to talk to senshi first works rather well, you get a feel for what they are like."
She released her lieutenant and backed up a little.
"Also remember... things don't happen like they do in films."
She then went forward firstly aiming a punch at the lieutenants stomach though she was actually going for the shoulder. She could go for the jaw but she didn't want to break her lieutenants jaw in a training match.

Painite was surprised to find herself pinned to the wall, one of her framed theatre programs shuddering but not falling. It was slightly tilted but it would survive. She looked at her Captain, nodding her head.
In the movies, at least, everyone seemed to know how to fight right off the bat. Get in a situation that needed to be fought out of, and they could do it. But that was just not how it worked. She was in a situation where she needed to fight, but still had no idea how to do it.
Now if this were stage combat...
She nodded at the tips. She liked talking, so boasting to a Senshi and goading them into fights sounded like fun to her. She also liked the sound of watching her opponent, and figuring them out. How better to make the perfect trap than by knowing her opponent like she might a friend?
"That I've come to understand quite quick," she laughed, but then she was being punched at and had to defend herself. She instinctively dropped her arms in front of her to protect her gut, and ended up slamming back against the wall when Sass faked and hit her shoulder instead.
Okay, so she hadn't seen that.
Wearing a determined face, though her eyes were still bright with excitement and eagerness.

Sassolite was grateful, so grateful that her lieutenant was listening, granted the punches she was getting was teaching her something but no the older girl actually seemed to be taking the advice from Sass. That made her slightly proud.
Sass turned around and looked about the room before turning back to Painite.
"You an actress? You have any costumes here?" Sass wondered whether making herself look more like a senshi and less like Painite's captain would help with the training. It wouldn't be a very common thing to fight ones own.
"Oh and don't forget senshi have magic powers..." Yep she thought she would throw that one in there for good measure. After all those magic powers were the only thing keeping those senshi alive.

Painite blinked and dropped her guard instantly, nodding her head. "I have a few things I've collected over the years. Mostly from when I did community shows that I had to supply my own costume for. I'm a bit of a packrat..."
It was true. Though she had no fashion sense and rarely re-used costumes, she always had a 'well, you never know' mentality when it came to things from the theatre. Props and smaller set pieces she had made, costumes she had worn or put together, whatever she could get away with keeping, she did.
She nodded.
"Magic powers, right. Hey, how come we don't have anything like that? Like, we get our weapons, but I can already tell that it's going to be tough fighting with a Senshi that can, like, make things explode with just Mr. Saddles."
She chuckled, motioning for Sass to follow her to one of the extra rooms, where she liked to store things she collected or made, so they could look through the costumes.
"Why do you want a costume, anyway?"

Sass listened to what was being said and just nodded.
"The general's have some sort of magic attached to their weapons. I guess it just takes longer for us to get them. It means that you need to work your a** off and don't get killed." Sass had witnessed a nega get killed before, he had an annoying weapon - teacups. Yet she had seen him slaughtered by that bloody senshi and that cat.
"To see if we can make a senshi costume. Might get you fighting better if it looks like you are fighting someone who wants you dead."
Sass followed the lieutenant into the spare room and looked around. It didn't surprise her in the slightest that there was quite a lot of well crap in here. It was to Sass anyway she was sure that Painite loved everything in here though and so she kept her thoughts to herself.
"Also once you have actually hit me I will need to tell you about cats." Though that could wait. ********* was done for and she would make sure both her lieutenants knew to kill the cat on sight.

Painite grinned.
"Believe me, it's not in the plan to get myself killed. No, no, working my a** off sounds a bit better for the things I have in mind, coupled with the surviving thing." She chuckled, though she was serious. The last thing she wanted to do was get herself killed, and she tried to include escape plans into every one of her efforts.
Just in case.
"Oh, that sounds good! If there's any way to get me to learn, it must be theatrical," she laughed jovially. It was rather true, considering she thrived on theatre in her day to day life, and just dressing up in costumes or having someones else do it allowed her to switch her mind into gear. Into character.
She showed her to the costumes, where there was maybe enough to pull together something close to a senshi outfit. "I have a tutu in here somewhere," she giggled, tickled by this idea.
