Vault Since the very day of Azureink's treachery there has been a secret operation taking place. Even when the father general, Ender, retired, this operation took place under his supervision. This Vault being contructed for the very reasons of containing all higher forms of technology unique to both The Brotherhood and Vault technologies, ensuring that The Brotherhood's technology is unreachable to operatives even from the inside, with never being able to gain sufficient rank to even enter the vault. Our technology will forever be protected and unreachable to any guild due to the creation of this massive vault. It was to ensure that such events never happened again. This colossal structure is the result of that operation. It is the Vault of the Future.
Deep within the belly of the Rocky Mountains is a mountain of great girth and stature. The war of years ago, with the intense heat of the nuclear bombs, the minerals melted into a crust around each of the mountains, giving them such secure armor that nuclear weapons no longer phased them. This would be the perfect spot for the vault. Within this large mountain was a vault from the war that Ender himself found on an expedition many years before the incidents with Azureink. The vault itself was well secure but would need a few upgrades for its purpose.
The vault itself lies embedded within the largest mountain of the Rockies. According to the old books this mountain was called Mount Elbert. The only part exposed was a massive door in which to enter. Ender immediately went to work on it. The door opens by sliding to the left on the inside. When it is closed it is held tight by hundreds of thick titanium locks all around it. Only enough would unlock at any given time to open the door. It is moved by magnets and therefore has no mechanisms that can short or be tampered with. The door itself is made of titanium and is over a dozen feet thick. The magnets are very powerful because of this and if caught in the closing door, even the most heavily armored tank would be cut in two.
The door can only be opened by a complicated procedure that only Ender can complete. The terminal is guarded by a titanium casing. This plate has a key-hole. But the lock cannot be picked. The key used to open the lock is electronic and filled with tiny sensors that will unlock the door. Only Ender has such a key. Being the general and commander in chief, he is the only one who can complete the process. First, he must be completely calm and strap a Sphygmomanometer (blood pressure cuff) to his arm. The process will not work unless his blood pressure and pulse are normal. This is to prevent someone from knocking him unconscious and using his body to gain access. He must be calm to ensure that he is not being forced. Once his blood pressure is taken, an optical sensor is opened up. He must first have his right eye read then his left. Once the optical sensor is confirmed a hand pad will open up and he must confirm his hand print. Then, he is to place his finger into a hole where a small sample of his blood will be taken and read. Once all this is completed he can open the vault. A record of the dates and times that an attempt to open the door is kept within the system that Ender can access. If one attempts to access the vault, and is not registered in the system, they will be shot by a laser that comes directly out of the optical sensor. If that fails, they will be shot by the turrets that line the outer walls of the door.
This is how entrance within the vault is obtained. The only road that is present to the entrance to the vault is underground, with the vault door being submerged below many feet of solid earth and unable to unearth the entrance, a underground road had to be dug. The road runs from underneath the Motor Pool inside of The Brotherhood Of Steel base, going along ten miles of road to the entrance of the vault. Along this road is placed automatic gun turrets, which are fully armed and ran from the Vault's generators from within. Each set of turrets are on both sides of the road around every two miles of the underground road. Along the outside of the entrance to the vault are placed four gun turrets to secure the vault from any heavy assaults. From above ground or the air, the vault is near impossible to get to, without massive drilling equipment, which would then have a hard time penetrating the titanium exterior, a operation that wouldn't go unobstructed due to the length of time such a project would take, even with many men.
The entrance to the underground road is directly beside the Motor Pool, where a large steel door must be unlocked by a panel in which a password is entered, allowing the large steel door to slide back, revealing a large mouth and ramp that meets up with the underground road. The large entrance door appears to be a large steel square on the ground, the panel located on the wall on the outside. Once along the road, it's a set of two steel gates with a panel to the side of the gate, allowing for a password to be entered, the password being different from the entrance. Each gate is four miles apart, meaning from the entrance, the first gate being reached after two miles, then four miles until the next gate, eight miles into the underground road, then after the second gate, two miles until the entrance of the vault. Two automated turrets are placed on either side of each gate. If the password is denied, these turrets will go into offensive mode and fire on any targets in the area. The underground road is surrounded by concrete, making a concrete tunnel, to support the immense weight of the earth pressing down on it, preventing collapse. The gates and road is large enough to allow efficient access by a large convoy.
The vault itself has a large interior. The walls and ground are lined with three feet of titanium alloy. So no one will be able to drill from below. The vault is in the shape of the hollowed out mountain and has a series of levels stacked for efficient storage. The levels are accessible by lifts that operate using magnetism. So there is no chance of a pulley or chain breaking. The lower levels are for vehicle storage while the upper smaller levels are for smaller weapons and technology. Beneath the mountain itself is a fusion power plant that powers the structure. It is maintained by a few prototype robots and runs smoother than a well-oiled machine. The plant is also lined with the titanium reinforcement and is accessible only from the above chamber.

((Continued from Motor Pool.))
Continuing along the underground road in the APC, the headlights became obsolete with the tunnel now lighted with the overhead lights of the tunnel. Ender switched off the headlights and drove on. Ender drove along, passing the automatic turrets that swiveled as he drove by. He reached the first gate about four miles into the road and left the APC running as he disembarked from it and went to the large heavy gauged steel gate and entered on the number pad a long string of numbers and letters as the password. The gate opened and Ender got back into the APC and continued until around another four miles after pass turrets in the barren tunnel and got out and duplicated his actions on the second gate as he did the first. He continued through and finally reached the massive Vault door. He got out of the APC and went up to the large titanium control box. He took the key from around his neck and inserted it into the keyhole, a plate slid back, revealing a control panel with keys and a optical input device, along with a handprint reader. Ender put on the blood pressure cuff and slowed his breathing, then instructed to place his eye to the optical sensor, to read his retina, which was confirmed. Next, he was instructed to place his palm on the hand pad, Ender uncoupled his armored hand and placed his bare palm onto it before putting the armored glove back onto his hand. It was confirmed along with a blood sample taken. The massive vault door slid open on it's magnetic track and a large entryway full of bright white light shone through. Ender walked through the massive door and continued down through the titanium walled corridors, large enough for an APC or a large truck to go through. He went to the magnetic lift, much of the equipment very rare, enough to not be able to use in normally in The Brotherhood base, it was one of the things that made the Vault special and a treasure in it's own way. The magnetic lift took him down a few levels and Ender departed from the elevator and walked along yet more corridors until he found the storage room he was looking for. He walked in and saw large wooden crates, about almost double the size of a normal person in power armor. Ender grabbed a wheeled device with forks on it and pushed the forks underneath the crate and hoisted it back onto two legs, the crate literally weighed hundreds of pounds, if not going above a thousand. Ender backed out of the doorway with his load and retraced his steps all the way back to the entrance of the Vault. He wheeled the crate out and opened the APC doors, which he then put the crate on it's side and pushed it into the APC, it taking up much of the area inside. Ender rolled the wheeled device with the forks back into the vault and store it back where it belonged and made another agonzing trip back ot the entrance of the vault. He walked to the control panel and inserted the key, turning it once again, the massive Vault door closed with a loud thud, the door was powerful enough to cut a tank in half literally when it closed, once it was closing, nothing could stop it from closing and it remained sealed just the same, the Vault was airtight and it was no way of accessing it other than the Vault door, which had so many security features just to open it that you had to be Ender himself or High Elder MunkiHunter to be able to do so. Ender walked back to the APC and started up the motor, turning the APC around and headed back down the underground road, getting out at each gate and pushing the code to close the doors once more. He finally hit the entrance ramp to the tunnel, that came up beside the Motor Pool and pulled out into the light.

((Continued from the Motor Pool.))
Ender rode along with CFAR driving the APC down the underground road, at each checkpoint, he'd jump out, punch in the access codes to the large metal doors and they'd pass through. Ender always contemplated punching in the wrong digit by "accident" just to have the APC torn to hell where it was stopped just so that he could return it to the Motor Pool trashed, at least give them something to do, but decided against it, he sure as hell didn't want to carry everything back out over the ten miles of tunnel. They finally reached the vault door where CFAR stopped and parked the vehicle. Ender got out and unlocked the titanium faceplate of the panel with the key from around his neck. Ender hooked up the blood pressure cuff to measure his blood pressure and pulse rate to make sure that he wasn't unconcious or being held hostage, after that was confirmed, he placed first his right, then left eye to the optical sensor, a green light coming on once again confirming his identity, then he stuck his palm on a palm pad and had it read, along with a blood test taken from a needle piercing his hand, once again, confirming that it was indeed Ender. With all procedures met, the vault door started rolling smoothly along it's track and came all the way open with a resounding heavy thud from the massive weight of the vault door hitting the end of it's track. Ender walked inside of the Vault, figuring that CFAR was not far behind. "You have access to the top level of the vault, it's where you'll find all of the items on your checklist since none of the rooms are currently restricted. You have also been granted access to the lift down to the second level below this one, every door down there is locked due to high security and will only open to my keycard, I wouldn't advise trying to use your keycard on one of the doors down there, there are a couple of C-27s active as security, since it only takes that many to equal a large group of men. There is of course other machines of robot design down there, but their just maintenance bots, keeping everything in working order, researching items brought in and left, replicating higher technology items, and servicing the fusion reactor of the vault. The only room that will be accessable down there is the research lab of the vault, where you can perform virtually perform any task in researching the GPS, along with some access to the main computer for storing your results and to gain any relevant information to the GPS. Everything else will come up as restricted access. I have a few tasks to perform myself while down here and since the walls are made of titanium, quite thick, it makes communication through our normal radios virtually impossible, so wear one of these headsets please and I will do the same in the event you have a question or need to communicate." Ender then handed a headset of unfamiliar design to CFAR and put another headset over his head, linking it into his helmet. "The headsets are of vault design, probably made specifically for communications within the vaults due to the heavy walls."

-Continued from motor pool-
CFAR took the headset and hooked up his walki-talki. CFAR switched it on and checked the station. "Thank you sir i will begin retrieving the parts now" he said walking off towards a Vault map which was in the opposite direction that ender was probably heading. "I'm on chanel 2 sir" he said stopping in front of the wall looking for a possable basic map layout. "I'll probably retrieve the supplies first then work on the GPS." CFAR said locating the general location of where the armourment and possibly titanium rotors. CFAR rounded a corner and began walking in a quick pace excited to see the Vault. He had been in a destroyed one before, a Vault 10 if he could recall. The thing had been stripped and it was always full of druggies addicts and large rats. However that changed as soon as a gang went in. CFAR noticed that nothing he was seeing was the same as he had seen at the vault. It was fun and all before then because of the computers that were still active but then again everything was run down and broken. CFAR found a door which he thought was the armory and entered only to see some giant crates. CFAR looked around for a while but not finding anything of interest just a lot of power armor and more advanced forms, CFAR wanted to pry the boxes open but no doubt the general would probably see him doing it and get chewed out. CFAR looked around once more and then left. After a few more minutes of searching he found The armorment storage room. CFAR entered and was awe struck by the rows of weapons and crates filled with ammo. CFAR spied his beautiful mini-gun turrets and was on the verge of crying, "The weapons... the fire power... the death and destruction..." the small image of a mushroom cloud going of in his mind. CFAR went over and shouldered the heavy weapon. "s**t this thing is heavy" he said starting to treck to the APC, it would take a couple hours to move these heavy things around. CFAR got an idea maybe it might work and was worth a shot. CFAR set down the weapon and clicked his walki-talki "General ender do you come in? Requesting permission to use power armor to transport heavy material around the Vault, over" he said with a small sweat and panting. It was either that or ask for help. CFAR waited for a response from the general over the headset.

Ender walked down the halls, heading for the lift. Upon arriving, he stepped on and swiped his card, making the lift smoothly glide into action going down to the second level where he needed to go. He departed from the lift and entered a room where he thought all the computer software and other such prototype orientated items would be, but found that he was wrong. Finally, Ender just decided to go to the Control Room and pull up a inventory roster of the vault, looking down the list until he found the prototype Beta Software for the C-27 and a prototype targeting computer in a room. Walking out of the control room, he went straight for the room that contained what he needed. Upon getting there, it was stacks of crates full of electronic devices that was all under testing and selected a small crate with software in it, which filing through the contents, found the Beta software, pocketing it, and walks among the row of crates until he found a large crate marked "prototype targeting computers", which he popped open the crate and found alot of individual smaller crates, which he pulled out the one that he needed. Heading out of the room, he went to a maintenance room that the robots used to recharge automatically and use machines to produce items. He grabbed a flatbed motorized cart and pushed it over to the end of one of the machines, depositing the small crate with the targeting system on the flatbed as he went back to a control panel and punched up a design for a reinforced steel crate, which the machine used raw materials to create, a assembly line of small robots going into action, putting the crate together, it was fascinating to watch as the steel crate rolled off on a conveyor belt and he pushed it onto the flatbed cart. He then exited the room and headed back to the lift, swiping his card once again as he stepped aboard and the lift took him up to the first level again. He pushed the flatbed, which was greatly assisted by motors to make the task more than easy as he headed towards a room with heavy powered energy weapons. At that time, Ender received a request from CFAR over the headset asking to use power armor, "Just use one of the motorized flatbeds, it's alot better than trying to manhandle crates back and forth even with power armor, it does have limits. It's usually flatbeds located in most rooms for convenience, just make sure to return the flatbed to the room in which you found it.", he said as he reached the door he was looking for. He went inside, pushing the flatbed cart in front of him as he walked amongst the rows of crates and read the labels until he found one marked "Sunbeam Gatling Laser" and pulled two heavy crates from the pile, putting them on the flatbed. He then pushed the flatbed out of the room, the door closing silently behind him as he made his way back to the APC to load. Once there, he hit a panel to lower the ramp on the back of the APC and started to unload the heavy crates into the back, pushing the steel crate sideways to make more room for whatever crates CFAR had to pile back there. Ender then walked amongst the halls, until he found the lift again and went down to the second level and returned the flatbed cart. He had other business to attend to before running any research on the energy based weapons.

Damn it he whispers to himself wanting to get a feel for power armor, then again he could always go out into the wastes and look for one but then it would be taken away from him and repaired and stored else were. No sense in losing caps cause of that. "Aye sir, i see it right there" he said entering the room looking for it. After a moment of searching he found the flat bed and set the other crate with the Gatling gun in it. CFAR started pushing it into the hall and picked up the other crate that he had managed to get out the door, CFAR grunted as he lifted the massive crate onto the flat bed. CFAR wiped his forehead removing the small amount of sweat that was forming. CFAR wheeled the items to the APC and opened the rear already seeing that ender had set an item in there already. CFAR placed the items together and went back to return the flatbed to it rightful place. CFAR then remembered that he need the rotors for the airship. Those would be difficult since there was no space in the APC. CFAR thought about it as he made his way to the general storage area. CFAR figured it out as soon as he entered he would just simply tie them to the top of the APC.
CFAR spent the time needed to set the large blades into place atop of the vehicle. The blades were heavy and looked durable. CFAR placed the last of the eight blades needed on the top and started to get out the rope from the back of the APC. CFAR tossed the rope over the roof and started tying them into place. CFAR finished up tying the knots needed to make sure it wouldn't fall off on the drive back. CFAR rolled the flatbed to the supply room as he was making his way to the elevator he remembered that he needed ammo for the turrets. "General do you come in... I was wondering if i should get the required ammo for the weapons in the vault or if the armory back at the base has it? Over." he said into the headset waiting for a reply over the headset.

Deciding to just get the process over with, Ender walked to the Research Lab first inside of the vault on the second floor. He entered the room carrying one of the energy based objects and turned it over, examining it while he found a machine that would analyze what sort of metals it was made of and scan it to see what made it work. Then the machine would take this one apart and examine all the parts before trying to replicate the object along with whatever modifications they wanted. Ender laid the energy weapon inside of the machine and began programming the research commands on what exactly needed to be done. He also punched in what modifications he wanted for the energy weapon if one could be replicated that is, he wanted two copies of the energy based weapon, one with a switch to turn the energy level up and down, the other a lower energy based model for medical purposes. He wanted to give the medics something new in the medical field after all of this time, since they rarely got in any new technology, but not something that they could use to cut through even power armor. He left the machine to its work as he walked out of the room, attending to the pressing duty of checking up on a few things that was normally checked one a month or two. Just then, he got in a call from CFAR once again about ammunition this time, "You can get it from the armory back at base or from here if you want, it's only 7.62mm turrets I believe it said on your checklist, we have quite a bit of that ammunition on hand at all times. You can save time by getting a crate of ammunition here or just getting some from the armory at the base. I'll be going out of radio contact for awhile due to heavy shielding in a certain area. If you get to the research lab, don't mess with the machine that's scanning the energy weapon and trying to make copies of the item." Ender proceeded on until he came to a heavy blast door roughly a few feet thick of solid titanium, which he then swiped his clearance card. There was a need for this however, since this is where The Brotherhood's three nuclear weapons are stored. Slowly, the massive doors slid open, when they was open enough for Ender to squeeze through, he went in and hit the close button on the doors, making them thud closed, the sound heard throughout the vault. In the center of the large room was three nuclear warheads up on blocks of metal and encased in glass. Two of them was tactical nuclear warheads, the other a massive brute meant to destroy a whole area the size of half of the old state known as Texas. The nuclear weapons was found in a sealed vault some years ago, all three intact, but strangely, the occupants of the vault missing, it's also where they harvested mech technology and found the C-27 robots that were deactivated. There was even a theory that the occupants of the vault was not even human, that it was full of robots that had ventured into the wasteland and left their deactivated brothers behind. Ender strode up to each of the nuclear warheads, lifting the lid of each glass case and taking a panel off of each nuclear warhead, flipping through their diagnostic programs, making sure they was still in working order and not compromised. He found them all still intact and replaced the panels and glass lids of their display cases. He swiped his card through the massive blast door, waiting it to slowly open as he thought that these objects was the ones that had laid the whole world into a barren wasteland. He exited the large room as the blast doors thudded shut behind him, making his way back to the research lab to finish up his tasks in the vault.

"Aye, sir"CFAR didn't bother getting the ammunition for the guns since they weren't going to be mounted on his bird when he did the test flight. CFAR finished loading up the APC and then closed the rear hatch and made sure it was secure. CFAR made his way to the elevator that would lead to the lower levels of the installation. CFAR swiped his key card and the elevator doors slid open revealing a small space able to fit two or three people. CFAR entered the elevator shaft and pushed the number two button and heard the sound of movement, as the elevator lowered CFAR was surprised by a loud noise that seemed to rock the very foundations of the vault. "What the hell was that?" he said wanting to call on ender but all he could hear was static. CFAR Made it to the second floor and walked to the research lab, upon entering he saw ender and observed that the machine was still scanning enders butter knife. CFAR pulled the GPS out of a side pocket normally meant for holding tools at the motor pool. "sir." he said in acknowledgment, as he proceeded to conduct his own studies on the device.

Ender had entered the Research Lab part of the vault and glanced in on the procedure being done on the energy weapon. Printouts was coming out as results was found and he picked up the pile and shuffled through, energy unit was obviously contained inside of the object, but yet, no way to replace it if the object ran out of energy. The energy supply itself was unknown, but as far as the computer could tell and as Ender could make out from the results, the power supply was around the level of power supply that the power armor suits used, but a smaller version that lasted around half the time, meaning around fifty years under constant use. The machine could replicate the technology in a prototype, but it'd be a bit more bulkier than the originals. The computer had automatically discarded the use of small power cells due to them needing constantly changed by how much power the energy weapons used. The machine was already in the process of making two prototypes, one with a energy output switch and the other a lower energy model that would be perfect for medical uses. Ender continued to read the printouts, it seemed that the objects used a technology that pushed atoms apart rather than actually cut them, which made sense on how fast it cut through the power armor. Ender was still standing there reading the printouts as CFAR came in and he looked up from the printouts for a moment. "While you're examining the GPS, log in all the location coordinates saved on the object into the computer along with perhaps finding out where the transmission is coming from in space to log the space station or satellite's coordinates. I'm almost finished here, just making prototypes to take back." Ender decided to walk around examining other objects being researched in the lab that's been taking months and on one specific object, years, without any results, like the devilthorn armor that was clearly so advanced that it couldn't be researched, it made the person who wore it virtually invincible and the only one of it's kind from what the computer could tell, which meant it was more of a artifact than anything else, so would never be worn. But the computer was still researching it and found most of the metals on it not exactly from this planet, but gave a theory of possibly some of the metals coming from a fallen meteor or something of that nature in which humans and crafted the armor.

"Aye sir" CFAR said plugging in the GPS to a terminal and uploading ll the known coordinates. "Holy s**t!" he said looking at how many locations there were there must be hundreds thousands. "We have got multiple sites all around the globe.. we are even getting locations across the sea!" he said with a smile on his face since this could benefit them in more ways than one. CFAR finished uploading the locations into the data base. "Alright it looks like the satellite name is Hoover and it's stuck in the orbit of the planet. Looks like we lucked out huh?!" he said finishing the work. CFAR looked over and saw that the scanner was available. CFAR stuck the gps in and it began to register the parts and setting already on the GPS. CFAR stood there and watched the screen as it went through the basic parts needed to make it along with the chips that made it contact the satellite. CFAR then gave it commands to make three more, just to be on the safe side and have an extra if it breaks. CFAR wrapped up what he was doing and grabbed the three new and the old GPS. "Alright sir i believe I'm done" he said waiting for enders orders.
