"Dunsparce are pale yellow, serpentine Pokémon with two small, white-colored wings which are capable of lifting the Pokémon a few inches off the ground. They also possess a drill on the end of their tail for digging which resembles a rattlesnake's rattle. Besides their main pale yellow coloration, they have accentuations of blue, such as the ring patterning encircling their eyes, the thick stripes on the pattern on its back, and its underside, and beige, such as its eyelids and back. Dunsparce’s eyes seemed perpetually closed and goggle-like in appearance, somewhat like Baltoy’s, and there are pointed prongs on the underside of its chin. " ~BulbapediaOk well at first glance I'm sure this little worm must look pretty useless right? Well for the most part that's true however, it ability is awesome and can be very useful.
Let's start off with it base stats:HP - 100
Atk - 70
Def - 70
SpA - 65
SpD - 65
Spe - 45
Now looking at these stats the only decent one is HP, everything else is really just horrible. Now what could be so useful about a pokemon with such horrible stats? Its ability Serene Grace, which doubles the secondary effect of moves, making it ultra hax.
Now unlike other pokemon with this ability, Dunsparce has the best movepool that allows it to fully abuse its hax power. Let's look at what I find to be its most useful moveset:
~ Ancient Power/Thunder Wave 20% raise all stats/100% paralyze
~ Headbutt 60% flinch+Stab
~ Bite - 60% flinch
~ Ice Beam - 20% freeze
This one is pretty straight forward, hax abuse at its best. With such a horrible speed stat slowing down your opponent is a must. With Thunder Wave you pretty much remove that problem.
Ancient Power is useful if you want to boost all your stats, with only a 20% of it happening some might not want to even bother with it.
Headbutt is one of your best moves, stab plus a 60% flinch rate. This can really annoy your opponent and if you're really lucky you can hax your way to victory.
Bite is mainly for coverage, like for those Ghost types that are immune to your headbutts.
Ice Beam can come in handy for both coverage and hax, freezing a poke can really mess up your opponent.
Now after all this Dunsparce still can't compete too well in OU or even UU, so its bumped down to NU. However there is a team mate that greatly increases its usefulness.

Ninjask and Dunsparce make such a wonderful combo on a team. With Ninjask's Speed Boost ability and it access to Swords Dance and Baton Pass, it can really give Dunsparce the boost it desperately needs.
If you're going with this combo its best to train your Dunsparce in defenses and HP. That way once it gets passed into the battle, it'll hopefully survive the hit. Unless you're confident in your ability to predict your opponent then pass when you feel is best.
Well I think I've pretty much covered everything I need to for this, hope you found it useful.
Happy New Years!
