Wondering what the words in bracket before all the the thread titles mean?
[Info] - Threads giving information; mostly stickies, such as this one.
[ORP] - Open Roleplay. These are RP threads based around a specific idea or plot (like, "Glace's Adventure by the Beach" or "Joe is really off today..." or even something simple, like "Vin's Day at the Roost") They are open for people to join in as they please, but shouldn't be reused once the RP is over.
[CRP] - Closed Roleplay. These are RP threads based around a specific idea or plot (like, "Glace's Adventure by the Beach" or "Joe is really off today..." or even something simple, like "Vin's Day at the Roost") They are RP threads that are not accepting new people into the thread, and shouldn't be reused once the RP is over.
[SRP] - Short or Special Roleplay. These are generally shorter, controlled-plot roleplays with only the threadmaker or very few people. They're mostly used to tell more of a story. (Like, "Harley's Night in the Loony Bin" XD) Posts in these roleplays are expected to be long, preferably about three paragraphs per post. If you're doing this with a few people and want the plot to go where the characters take it, you'll be better off making it a CRP.
If you're doing this along, it can be a story that you add a new chunk to every once in a while. n_n
[Journal] - A thread written from the point of view of a pet, or to monitor roleplay. (For example, Harley has his book of doom)
[House] - Your pet's own house, a roleplay area that you may set up and use as you please. It's basically a personal area based RP.
Thanks for the idea, Meigumii! n_n
[OOC] - Out of Character. It's rather straightforward, it's a thread that is not roleplay. XD Things like this are likely better in the main thread, but if you feel the need, go ahead. =3
If you want to make a thread, please use the correct box at the beginning of your title.
You aren't required to date your threads at the end (like mine and a few other threads are) but I like to, so you can tell when it's been updated.
Please try to capitalize things when necessary and don't use decorations. (Smileys are fine, though n_n)
Correct Examples:
[ORP] Bill's Marriage to Jane
[ORP] Bill's getting married? =O To Jane?
Incorrect Examples:
Bill's getting married to Jane
[ORP]bills getting married to jane
[ORP] [-] Bill's Marriage [-]
[ORP]Bill's getting married! __________________________
