I urge all of you to check out this website:

It's made especially for people learning Japanese, and uses skits to teach concepts to you. You can toggle the subtitles between English, romaji, hiragana and kanji, depending on how confident you are in your abilities. There are also lists of key phrases, games and other resources to help you learn.

If you're at all serious about wanting to achieve fluency in Japanese, I highly recommend that you look at this website.

For those of you who stalk me, I'm registered on the website as スタリ (Starry, written in katakana.)
