Canthry (pronounced can-three) is the roleplay setting for this store.

Canthry is a fairly small village surrounded by cliffs on three sides. On the north wall (cliff) is the gate/train station and the the south is a beach.

On the northest corner is a very thick forest that most people haven't ventured all the way through, so it is unknown if it is surrounded by cliffs, or leads out of town.

There are many trees all around town- most of which are cherry trees, making the town beautiful in the Spring. By the beach there are coconut palms.

The town is split by a river- on the west side are the shopping and community buildings (and Glace's house) and on the east side is a more suburban area where the residents live.

Outside of it's gates, the town has a reputation for being a large loony bin. Many of the residents are crazy when they come in, and those who aren't when they come often don't take long to be driven to that point. But the large diversity of people and sanity levels makes it a nice, interesting place to live.

The Civic Center
Basically, it's the town hall. It also includes the post office.
The Civic Center is run by the mayor, Tortimer, but the post office section is run by the pelican sisters Pelly and Phylis.
There are two windows at the counter- one for town-related activities, and one for post office/bank related things. There is a recycling bin on the right wall. You can see many bookshelves behind the counter, but nobody is allowed back there.

The Gate
Basically what it sounds like, at the northern peak of town are the huge doors that lead in or out of town.
The Brittish dog Copper guards the gate, while the absent-minded Booker runs the lost and found section.
It doubles as the train station- the train lets out here.

The Able Sisters'
A small tailor shop owned by sister porcupines Mabel and Sable. Here youcan create your own fabric designs, and buy accessories to your heart's desire.
On the left are sewing tables, in the center, predesigned fabrics, and on the back wall, all other accesories.

Nookington's
The largest store in town, it's a cushy two-floored department store that changes it's stock every day.
It's run by Tom Nook the raccoon and his family, Timmy and Tommy.
Downstairs works Tom Nook, and they sell general necessities- umbrellas, paper, tools, etc.
Upstairs is where Timmy and Tommy work, and where the furniture and wallpaper are kept. (And sold)

Shampoodle
A stylish barber shop owned by the peppy pink poodle Harriet, this bright business is located inside of Nookington's.
The floors are bright blue, and your hair is styled on one of the bright red armchairs.
There is a counter, a rolling supply cart, and several stools in the corner of the room.

The Farway Museum
Also just what it sounds like, it's a museum run by Blathers the long-winded owl. He also provides a free fossil-checking service.
The outside is stone with columns, making it look rather like a monument.
Inside there is a large square room with stained glass windows and tiles floors, then doors with red carpet underneath leading to the four exhibits- fish, bugs, fossils, and paintings. All the exhibits except for paintings have two rooms.

There are also stairs down to the Roost and up to the Observatory.

The Observatory
Located upstairs of the museum and owned my Blather's little sister Celeste, this cute little tower is a great place to study and stargaze.
It's a round room with a desk, a office chair, and a desk nearby the telescope.

The Roost
Located downstairs of the museum and owned by the quiet pigeon Brewster, this is a very popular little cafe where you can get the best cup of joe in town.
The legendary K.K. Slider has a gig to play on the stage in the corner every Saturday night.
Average people of age are permitted to sing on stage, too.
With parquet floors, soft lighting and calm music, it's a very classy place.

The Dump
A simple area fenced in by wooden posts, it's where you can drop thing that you want to get rid of.
Not that people don't go looking there for free stuff.

The Wishing Well
A rather pretty wishing well (well, more of a fountain) positioned in front a the largest tree in town. Most town events are held here, and the well is said to whisper advice to those who need it...

Police Station
Up front is a desk where you may contact the police dogs, and along the walls are a couple of small jail cells- generally empty, as they are most always used to just put away troublemakers overnight.
There is one padded cell, for obvious reasons.

The Clinic
Run by the businessman Lyle's noticable kinder neice, this place will take care of outpatients, but is still not a hospital, just the best Canthry can do. More serious injuries will require trips out of town.
It also offers therapy.

The Lighthouse
It turns on at six every evening, but people aren't generally allowed inside.
