I just had to talk about her since I thought she was one of the cutest and funniest military people in the show. Schezka who once worked at the National Library in Central, lost her job from spending too much time with reading books. Though the Elrics help her out by getting Hughes to have her in his team. For exchange she helped them get Dr. Marco's books, since she has the ability of keeping memory so well when it comes to thousands of books. So even though she isn't a main character you see all the time, she still had an impact on the Elrics.
It shows also that she really had a close bond with Hughes when it came to working for him. Even though he piled her in pictures and work from day to night nonstop, she even shows how much Hughes has done so much for her, especially getting her a job back in the military. I can't really say what kind of bond they had, the only thing I could think of is like a fatherly like to a daughter, or just like siblings. She even tries to investigate on her own about what exactly Hughes found out that made him well...gone.
Once again like we said, she is known to be called a 'Bookworm' for her hobby of reading books. The second time we meet her she's at him and was trapped under a big pile of books. It seems thats all she loves to do. But like Alphonse told her, we all have a different thing we like to do that can also be a talent.
She sounds like more of the clumsy type, but nonetheless kind. It shows I believe that she will visit Glacier's home (after the death of you know who) and will hang around there.
It also shows that she becomes friends with Winry Rockbell, Edward's mechanic. It seems the two are a funny pair in the later episodes. Though, it also shows that the two will feel the same when it comes to Roy. Since Roy has an impact on Winry and Schezka has dealt with Roy Mustang before, the two seem to have a hatred for him.
I can't tell though if it stops or what, since they really don't give enough information on it. Even in the movie it doesn't really show if they have forgiven him or not.
Whats sad though is how she's not really in the Manga. She is in the beginning, but it seems it just...dies off after the death of you know who. Though, in the manga, it slightly shows she doesn't really hate Roy like she kind of does in the anime. Once again, manga and anime are always different.
