*Amelie walked down the hallway from the queens room and started her decent down the stairs she looked behind her for Grimstone.*

Grimstone walked steadily with Amelie. "Well that rather well don't you agree little one?" He gave her a amused chuckle and smile. He was glad that the meeting had been disbanded for whatever the reason as he really wanted to relax and spend time with Amelie. He hadn't been able to much these few days with the overthrow of Drake and then the making alliances between him and the other vampires it was nice to be in her company and another dragon's company as well. He felt more relaxed than he had been since he arrived her.

Grimstone wondered if he was allowed to actually speak freely but he decided he shouldn't hold anything back, "The queen she seems docile and unwilling to do much as far as fighting. Your brother, Devlin. Is the definition of human ignorance. He is very high and mighty in his head. Jason however he seems quite eager to serve. He could be useful to you if he wasn't so bent on his duties of protecting the queen." Grimstone sighed and then let his red eyes lay on her small frame and smiled, "Overall they are not a horrible bunch but they definitely need to learn to communicate with one another better." He gave a light chuckle. "I actually do enjoy them, they were fun to mess with especially Devlin."

*She nodded and laughed remembering all the times her and Devlin fought each other over small matters, this time though it wasn't so small.* "I wan being serious though. I am against the Palace siding with the demons, and I will leave my throne to prove my point and uphold my morals. *She was suprised her brother has even brought it up, then again Devlin had always been about power not pride.*"

Grimstone looked at the girl as if she was a different person. Since he had met her she had been more or less a girl. She acted childish at times and could be irrational when she didn't get something her way but this side of her suggested her royal heritage. He couldn't help but beam at her with a sense of pride knowing she was his rider, "Well I stand by you wherever you may go Amelie." His tone was kind, and soft yet it carried the strength of a promise.

Bathier yawned as he fallowed Grimstone and Amelie down the stairs."Grimstone, my old friend this is where I must take my leave unless you have more need of me."He stated hoping Grimstone would need him still, or Amelie. As he walked to the window he changed into his dragon form and started to glide down the side of the Casitle walls.

Grimstone turned and looked to Balthier as he descended and called out to him, "Only one more task Balthier! I need you to see if there are any other dragons within Invictus! We need to all and together here, I do not care what color our scales are in these times it's good to know you have friends at your side! Please see if you can find any others Balthier!" He smiled to the dragon and he looked back to Amelie. "If we plan on succession from the palace then I am sure a good backing would be in order do you not agree little one?"

Batheir noded and then sighed as he flew back into the large stair well, he turned back into a human and looked at Grimstone."Grimstone, there is one thing I have not told you, we are the last of our kind, the rest have died off due to vickings in the south and Atila The Hun in the north, The men from over the bodys of water have lost their faith in us and started hunting us, I barly made it out, far grater dragons then I have died these past 6 months."He explaned as he leaned on the wall, a soft angry tone in his voice.

Grimstone shook with a little pain and then a far off memory came to him. He was on the verge of letting a roar that might shake the foundation of the palace itself. "Baltheir, I feel that there has to be some of us left alive. Regardless of what the humans believe we will live. There maybe some of us who chose to hide deep within their hordes and hibernate. We have to survive and I may live forever Bathleir but we need to begin re population we cannot die out just yet. We are the oldest of species we can survive!" Grimstone only hoped that he was correct in assuming that their was at least on more dragon out there and hopefully she was alright.

Bathier thought for a moment and rubed his chin."Now that I think about it, deep in the forest just outside of the kingdom there are other dragon people, I have herd they have already started this quest, but to reason with them will not be easy, I can not do it alone, I will need both of you and her to help me with this."Bathier explaned as he fallowed them down the long hall way.

Grimstone wondered why this bit of information had slipped his mind to begin with. He stopped and gave him a careful look over but dismissed any il thoughts before they could happen. This was his friend and he had flown all the way out to him to support him in the city. "Well then we will have to make time for a visit my dear friend. Right now I must discuss matters with my rider about this alliance this queen of this city wants. It troubles me but I have figured out a way around it."

Grimstone looked pleased with his friend and was thnakful the respect he had to give him and Amelie some time. Just then a pigeon flew in and landed on Grimstone's shoulder. It was carrying a small tube that held a piece of parchment. Removing the parchment and reading it Grimstone was extremely happy at the current events now. He turned to Amelie and spoke, "It is from Lisan, the coven leader. He says that I have the ability to do what it takes to get the palace to ally with us. He says he will even guarantee the safety of the palace from the demons!" He couldn't believe how well timed this all was, "Amelie we must go visit the queen at once!"
