This is the only OOC Topic that you are allowed to argue or discuss or even boast about your faction politically.
ANY SERIOUS TOPICS THAT ARE PLACED IN THE RANDOM OOC TOPIC THAT ARE FACTION RELATED WILL BE DELETED.
Rules-
Keep it clean. We are all adults or we at the very least can pretend to be.
Cussing is permitted, but follow the ToS.
Keep this political, not on a personal level.

Alright well since this is the place to talk about the factions. My faction, iff allowed, will have two separate chapters. One for the drows and one for other species. So there will be two representatives one for each chapter and the top leader.
Ranks ascending:
Both Chapters:
Initiates: These are the lowest ranks and must to anything anyone of a higher rank commands them to do.
Grunts: These, though no longer initiates, still don't have full use of the factions privileges and must still accompany anyone of higher rank but more as a guardian rather then an initiate.
Zealots: At this rank you no longer accompany anyone and choose your own way to support the faction by doing things such as: smithing, smuggling, cooking, protecting etc... and as a perk you are allowed to choose an initiate to join you and, based on how you feel, its your choice of he/she gets to the rank of grunt.
The rest of the ranks will be made once the faction is approved

You aren't going to be very popular as a guild with this rank setup. All entries should have any choice of weapon. Otherwise, people will abuse the power that they have been given over the lower ranks. Never allow someone to have that much power, especially when you're just starting a faction. No one will want to join it.

Alright I'll take the weapon choice out but the ranks still stay. I like to keep organized.

By all means, keep the rank structure. It's good to have a rank. I prefer titles, but ranks work as well.

I'll look into a character to become a rebel. I should have one stashed somewhere. Let's see...
I could probably twist Ember a little, although she'd be an anachronism, probably. She belongs in the 21st century, but she's a rebel/merc from that time period. I also have a few budding characters that I could put in there, if you don't mind them changing every few weeks.

Well unless im wrong the rebels are pretty dead... and not many members... maybe make the rebels and pirates a mix. So you can cater to both.

yea i was approached with that idea earlier
i am taking a liking to the idea.
instead of just being peaceful, they can use pirate like tactics to get what they want. =D
and yes the rebels are slow cause people usually make their RPCs to already be inside a faction, or be swaying to a specific faction cause of their race

Or, if the rebels pick back up, the pirates and rebels could have a sort of alliance.
Because. . .if there was destruction and anarchy in the city, the pirates would be able to get what they want.
And the pirates could, maybe, *help* things become that way a little.
All secret like, and whatnot.

and i do go recruiting but like i said, most already have their eyes on a faction they want to be a part of before they even make their character XP
