It wasn't a spectacular bar. No, in fact it seemed quite plain, but it was clean and was kept that way. Absolutely spotless. It was a new place to get a drink, but there was no place that you could have a lie down after too much drink. There was a wide selection of drinks behind the bar. Two large creatures, too big to be human, but too human to be anything else, stood in the room looking menacing. They weren't trying to, it was just default for them. Even though, the room wasn't unfriendly. It seemed to radiate warmth. There was a single man standing behind the bar. Nobody knows his name, and he is very tolerant of people and their stupidity, as long as they leave it at the door. He was also very smart. He could tell you anything that you wanted to know, and get you just about anything that you wanted. Nobody knows his name, but you may call him Barkeep. This is his bar. He can be a very great ally, as long as you don't start trouble. And keep his secrets, secret.

Barkeep wasn't doing much. He couldn't really expect much business on the first day, after all. Nobody knew about him yet. He was polishing a glass that was already perfectly clean. He already knew that the Queen of Invictus, her champion, the First Knight, and the Advisor were on the street, attempting to be inconspicuous as they look about the city. He had seen the champion on the dragon over the city. He would like to learn proper names, but he would in time. He was very patient. He had learned allot on his first day and his contacts already reached everywhere. He would know everything about this city in time. Right down to the placement of every crack.

Erin came into the bar. He didn't exactly know why he came into the bar. He didn't want to drink. He never drank. It made him clumsy and clumsy hands drop volatile substances on the ground where they blow up. He sat down at the bar. "What'll you have?" asked Barkeep. "Something that won't get me drunk, I suppose." "Alright. Here you go. Fresh, fruit cocktail. Non-alcoholic. Enjoy." He gripped it with his right hand. He wore gloves to hide the fact that it wasn't real. He also wore a jacket with long sleeves at all times so that it wouldn't be seen that it went so far. He had tried to make a synthetic skin once, but it rotted within a week. He didn't try them anymore. He tried his cocktail.

Sye-Invictus City "No, I will not leave my bar unattended so that you may conduct diplomatic negotiations in here. It will be perfectly safe to talk in here and any attempt to make me leave will be met with force. I will make sure no one attempts to enter the bar without leave from the monarch, however, but I expect to be compensated. None of the information passed will leave this place, and with Mungo and Jungo here, nobody will be able to retrieve the information from me by force. Does that cover all the bases?"
Sye was a bit stunned. He hadn't said anything and he had just gotten there. "Erm, what about that guy?" he indicated the apparently drunk Erin who appeared to be passed out on the table.
"Oh him. You can drag him out onto the streets, but I believe that he has a question for the Queen later. I assure you that I do not wish to be rude to you, it's just that I won't leave my place. I can make it to where they won't see me here, if it makes them feel better."
"Er. I'm no longer sure of anything. Can you try not to do that in the future?"
"No."

Jason was feeling down on himself for his reaction to the wolves and when he entered he heard the conversation going on between the barkeep and Sye, "This should be enough to compensate you for any missed customers," Jason tossed a heavy purse to the barkeep if checked it would be filled with platinum and gold pieces, "If you leave the bar to gather supplies for it during the time of our meeting I will throw in another bag as a bonus and will protect your bar should it undergo any sort of siege, not just today but anytime in the future if we can conduct business here on a regular basis." He paused and looked at the man, "We could build your reputation here in town and also each meeting will be accompanied by more purse's like that."

Lilyna poked her head into the bar, careful not to disturb anyone there though it would have been difficult, seeing as the only people in the bar were the two Advisors, the drunkard and the barkeep. Seeing Sye and Jason there, she slinked in and sat by their side, her head nearly up to their elbows. Her tail was tucked in underneath, not knowing how the bartender would react to a wolf in the bar, especially one of her size. She didn't want to be killed her first time in Invictus, and that would mean Wolf would go on a killing spree...and be killed.
She pushed the thoughts from her mind. Sye and Jason would be able to handle him, wouldn't they? After all, they were the Queen's chosen guards so they could do whatever they needed to do...couldn't they? Lil watched as the human one, Jason, put a large sack on the counter, small pieces clinked against each other. She internally wondered where the Queen and Chacho were.

> Continueing from Invictus City < The Queen walks up with Chacho near her, She made sure not to leave the young one behind, there is so many nasty things hiding in the shadows around here she didnt want the young one to come across any danger. Walking into the bar she held the door for Chacho to enter, "Did we get everything squared away Jason?" She smiles and nods politetly to the barkeeper. "Hello, I am Ms. Atta. This is a lovly eatery you have, very nice." She praised the cleanseness of the place, and noticed Lilyna sitting down and smiles to her as well. She sits up on a barstool, and looked at the menu, "Might as well get food and drinks for the whole while we are here" She had a feeling that Barkeep already knew who they were mostly, and their intentions of being there. She gave him a tender smile of greetings and looks to the child now, "Now Chacho, look at the menu, and order what you disire, all of you, and please, do not worry about prices." she finished speaking to the group she came with. Atta wouldn't speak of any business until everything was squared away.

Lilyna still wasn't sure of the barkeeper's attitude towards her, but seeing as Miss Atta was there, she shouldn't worry too much about it. Laying down in between Chacho and Atta, she thought to the Queen. If it isn't too much trouble, a rare piece of meat and some water for myself. Anything other than meat in my form would upset my stomach.

Barkeep had caught the bag in midair, his hand reaching for it before Jason had even brought it around. He then tossed it back to Jason before the knight could retract his hand. "No. I won't leave my bar. I know you won't trash it, but I'm not sure that if I leave my two guards won't do that. They have orders not to allow anyone into the bar while I'm not here, and no matter what I say now, they won't change their minds. I won't leave the bar. Besides, I don't know if you guys wouldn't be behind here cleaning me out of my drink. I can trust the queen and Miss Lilyna and even Chacho, but I have learned never to trust warriors, no matter how trustworthy they are. And the First Knight," he stared pointedly at Jason, "and the Queen's champion," he shifted the gaze to Sye, "are most notable warriors. So I can't trust you. And you won't bribe me like that again, or I will have Mungo and Jungo throw you bodily from the bar. The secrets passed here will be safe as they would be within the treasury." He merely nodded to the wolf that came into his bar. He already recognized her for what she was, and she was probably smarter then most people he knew. He however, also knew about her ability to mind speak among other things. He didn't construct a wall around his mind, though. He had a fortress for his mind and it was always there. He never had to worry. He kept a pleasant smile on his face as she sat down. "You needn't worry about anything while you're in my bar, Alpha Lilyna. I'm not as closed minded as most." He bowed his head in greeting to the queen as she entered into his bar. "Greetings Queen Atta. Drinks are on the house today. Oh and your warriors? Don't let them exhaust themselves trying to erect a barrier against eavesdroppers. Magic doesn't work here. Don't worry though. The walls are soundproofed and the magic listening spells won't work either. And nobody will be able to hear past Mungo once he's in front of the door." He listened to the orders and immediately went to work providing the requested sustenance. These were the faction leaders, so he didn't spare any expense on the china or silverware. He then gave Sye and Jason their mead and a house special and then had Jungo take them farther away from the meeting.
((I'm still going to the assumption that the queen doesn't want anyone else interfering with the meeting besides herself.))

Chacho, who had sat down by Lilyna and the Queen, hadnt realized how hungry she actually was. She couldnt remember the last time the pack had hunted, or the last time she had eaten, so much had been going on. Her eyes widened as she looked at the menu. M-may I have the duck? Please? She smiled and looked around the bar, she had never been to a place like this, as Wolf had kept her away.

Jason's pouch landed in his hand and he withdrew the purse back into the confines of his leather cloak, "Well you are not a very good judge of character are you now?" Jason had never touched a drop of alcohol in his life nor would he start. His body ran on purity and his knighthood could only be maintained if he kept his body pure and his intentions selfless. He looked to the body guards he had for his tavern and he shrugged them off. "I also wouldn't think it wise to threaten a member of the royal court. We are not pigs and we are not cut throats like the bloodthirsty mercenaries or the immoral thieves that reside here. We are honest and pure with our intentions so let me make one thing clear. I will not tolerate being talked down upon. As we are both humans I wish that you respect me as such and I you. If we are clear on that then my duty calls." Jason wasn't an angry person but the barkeep had struck a nerve with some of his words. "It also wasn't bribery it was payment." He didn't wait for an answer and he stalked away to stand guard several feet away from his queen and he wondered how they ended up here instead of the safety of the castle, being in the city with her had put him on edge and he didn't like that they were in public dealing with negotiations.

The Queen nodds to Lilyna as she had asked for her meal, "Not a problem." She noted quietly to her, and then to Chacho as well. "Can we have a rare steak, with a bowl of water of the side, for Alpha Lilyna, and a Duck for the young girl. And I will have the country fried steak, with mashed potatos and thick gravy. With a glass of burban whiskey please." She notes again that Barkeep was quick to react, and was unsure of his notions. Although she knew things would be kept simple, and if needed to they could continue on further to the confines of the Castle Walls. She felt Jason get uneasy with Barkeep, and knew he didn't like her being out, Atta sent her words into his mind with ease and grace, she smiles to him through his thoughts and says softly as if she was right in his ear whispering, 'Please do not be upset. We won't talk about anything major, I am sure she will ask, and I will aprove her request...is all. Then we can leave to go about our business' She smiles back to him in person, then looks to Barkeep again, " You do not need to leave, but if I find any word of what happend today in here, I will take no exception for what happens. You can take or leave the purse of the offering to you for your services and to copensate for any missed customers. And again I thank you for you allowing us to be here today." She sounded like a Queen when she spoke, strong, but eligant and poised when she sat up. To Lilyna she asked from one Faction Leader to the Other, "What is it you request of me Alpha and Faction Leader Lilyna?" She stated her stats to prove she knew well of whom she was, and was satisfied that she came forth. (Lol rage, dont forget to post as Sye ^^ and ya know you could have Barkeep ease up JUST a tad sweatdrop rolleyes lol)

((Barkeep runs a tight shift. This is nice for him. The drinks are on the house. What more do you want? Free information?)) Sye took his mead and went next to Jason, keeping an eye on everywhere Jason couldn't see. "Don't let him get under your skin, Jason. It's what always gets me into trouble. Not everyone can see purity in its fullness. A lot of people will see you and just think that you're just as normal as they are. Let them. They are blind to the truth. Let the ignorant be in bliss. We know the true you. You are as kind and loyal as any man could want as a friend or guardian." Sye didn't like it when Jason got angry. If Jason was angry, then who would watch Sye's temper for him?

Jason retrieved a flask filled with blessed water from within his cloak. He took a swig and felt the ever-cool liquid rush down into his belly. That along with Sye's wise words his spirits seemed to lift ever so slightly, "Thank you my friend," Jason clapped him on the shoulder, "I seem to recall a certain few times where I was giving you similar advice." This man was one of Jason's only allies he had beside the queen. He was thankful for them both as the queen's words echoed through his mind.

Sye smirked. "Yeah, but you've always been better at taking words to heart. I'm not as pure as you've been." He took a deep drink of his mead, feeling the burning sensations it made as it went down his throat. "Really, it surprises me that you haven't gone to get your title changed into Paladin. You're purer then half those jokers anyway." Sye took a bite out of the daily special. He wondered what was so special about it. He took another quaff of his mead. This stuff was strong. He remained alert, but his mind had begun to get a little fuzzy. He pushed it away. "You might be smarter then me too. That stuff is potent."
