I have to many mice right now and I need to find homes for the rest of the litter that my mice had. I bred them purposely originally for snake food then i got to attached. SO i have two females and one male i really need to re-home before getting rats.
What are rats temperaments like? Will they poop all over me? I'm afraid if they are like mice and poop all the time with massive poop D: Scary

I've not had a rat poop on me ever. You may get a few fear poops depending on how well the rat is socialized though. With male rats you very well may get peed on though, they tend mark a lot.

when my boys were younger they pooped on me alot, never had that issue with my girls. once they got older they tried to hold it and i litter trained them so when they need to poop they get off me and go to a box i keep outside their cage.
my boys pee on me and other peope alot, its not somehting they ahve ever grown out of, ive only had my girls pee on me twice
and personalities are super loving. my rats desperatly want out of their cage to play with me almost all the time. when i come home they try to reach out and grab me when i walk past
