OK, I don't know what sort of weather the non-Oregonians are having, but here, we're swimming. I've had enough. You?

Let's just say I dont' dare fall face first into the horse paddock - guaranteed I'd drown int he thick sticky mud before I could get up ;/
As for flooding, its not as bad as I've seen it

I wish it would rain here and get it over with. Instead. we get spotty, drizzly stuff, and threatening clouds. It's enough to keep us indoors for the most part. It's just the depressing stuff.
How are you faring over there? I hope the flooding doesn't get too bad.

Right now, we're having a major storm. Kat is probably getting hurricane-force gusts. We're having some pretty gnarly ones. We've browned out a couple of times. Our trash cans were scattered across our driveway, so we had to go out there, pick them up and put them in the garage. We (obviously) have power now, but I expect it to go out at any time. We have candles ready.
The rain is coming in buckets, too. It's just awful. What's weird is that, at least in this area (Kat lives about 3 hours away from me) it was rather nice all day. crying

The winds woke me up all night(as with the kitty who kept perching on my hip) but the rain didn't amount to much - just 1/2 inch. It's still winding in that half hearted, I'd come get you if I had the strength way

I just looked at the NOAA page and saw 7 days straight of no rain - starting tomorrow! WOOT!
I hope it's for real..... they said this about the last couple days and up crops this storm. At least it wasn't as bad as they predicted
