He remembered the screech above all else. The sound of tires screaming on wet roads. Its rang echoed in his ears, drawing a chocked cry of pain that melded with his scream. And he did scream, loud, and long. Pale hands griped the wheel, both pulling hard to the right. Trying to pull the car from its on coming attack. But he knew... it was pointless. Knew this couldn't be avoided. For a moment, all he saw was bright blinding lights. And then... darkness, every consuming blackness blanketed his eyes.

His name is Jaken. A freshly rip collage kid. Only twenty years of age. On a rainy Sunday night, Jaken was involved in a car accident. Now two years later the male still remains in a coma. His family is sure he will never wake up. They have talked about pulling plug. But before that there is one last hope left to them.
Davin Melcoy, age 17. Davin is a raising prodigy, with a strange talent. Some call it the devils work, others Gods. Davin just calls it magick. With the ability to view into peoples minds, Davin has successfully managed to pull eighteen people out of their coma's. But since his methods are a bit odd, Davin is only offered as a last resort to the family's. And even then only the open minded and desperate accept. Jaken's family is one thats willing to give Davin a try, anything to bring their baby boy back to them. So now the young guide is placed in control of Jaken's care. No one knows the place in which the other males mind has left to. Nightmare of dream. But it is Davin's job to guide him through where ever his brain has trap him. Monsters, of angels. Davin must bring him back to the waking world.
Just like any person before him. Only Jaken has a secret, an unknown truth that begins to draw the two males together. Bind them in a personal way. So what happens with a simple job becomes something more? One must remember there are many doors in the recesses of someones mind. Memories, dreams, fears. Each door holds a personal thing for Jaken. Will he trust Davin to lead him through on the journey to re-awaking? Knowing that the things he might find? Does he even wish to wake up any longer? After all two years of his life has past by him. Will Davin be able to fight though his own personal feelings, personal demons? Will he be able to fight against the darkness part of Jakens mind, lead him safely through to his waiting family? Or will he destroy himself along with Jaken.
The mind of one is a dangerous place.
