We are getting 8 inches of snow tonight. It looks terrible outside.
The awesome part is, all of these ******** who are here in town for the superbowl (Yeah... I am a metro Detroit girl...) get to be buried in snow and suffer the wrath of a state that likes to be 40 and sunny in the morning, and in the teens dropping 8-12 inches of snow in the evening.
Also, about the superbowl? I am running far away. Like halfway up the state, to a casino. Yes, a casino. They hit best on Sunday there, plus, they will have the machines hitting even better, because they are trying to lure people to gamble 3 hours away from the superbowl, instead of watch the game or play in one of the 5 Detroit and Windsor casinos.

Damnit, I hate it when that happens.
Yes, snow can knock out power. When it is heavy. It weighs down and snaps powerlines, as well as takes down tree limbs.

Daiku Maryu stare It's snowing again. Grrr. It is almost never -not- snowing here. Ha. ANd I am moving next to Lake Michigan. Lake affect snow... they do not close schools out that way, or else they would never have school, due to the weather.

So, crazy thing happened with the weather last night. The temperature shot up to 60, we got some freaky thunderstorm that produced 4 tornados, an ice storm spanning across the state, starting two counties up... crazy flooding... then it just stopped. The temperature plumeted over night, and it has been snowing lazily with the sun out all day.
