Canthry has a diverse population, doesn't it? From cats to potatoes to dolls, everybody has their own stories to tell....

Residing with a rather unique wooden doll (most likely in his hat) is a pocket-sized diary, which is sort of a musty gold color. What's inside, you might wonder? Don't worry about it. He hasn't got much to hide...

(( This is Geno's journal, in case you couldn't figure that out. XD I don't recommend trying to read it if you're really tired. He's long-winded and rambles about absolutely nothing. XD But still fun. yey!

Post 1 - Here?
Post 2 - about
Post 3 - some people of this world (relationships)
Post 4 - my other self (SMRPG Geno- he's a cosplay, y'know XD) ))

Hmmm... It's rather awkward to talk about one's self, especially when one's self is awkward.

My name is
♥♪!?, but such is a difficult thing for one of Earth's to wrap their tongue around, so I would like you to call me Geno.

I am a star. Such is a phrase easily misunderstood. I am not an Earth celebrity, but a being of the night sky. I serve the high authorities of Star Road, a world which you probably couldn't fathom.

I have come to Earth hoping that I would be able to help its people more from down here than from up there. Let's see how that goes...

I understand the unusual looks people give me, for I am not a person. I have never been, and I don't think that I can ever be. I am not bitter about this. I understand my place in the world, and I enjoy it.

Despite most of this world's population believing that a diary or journal should be private, I haven't anything against you reading mine. A young lady once told me that almost all humans have read the diary of a miss Anne Frank. I'm not sure what to think of this, but to put it simply, I don't mind you reading my book.

I've had the pleasure of meeting several of this world's unique people. And quite a variety there is! Some more pleasant then others, but all notable.

glace

She was the first resident of this town whom I met. Whether or not this was a good thing, I am unsure... She looked at me oddly, then called me a freak (among other things) and pushed me into the mud.
She's been somewhat nicer since, but not too much. She's taken to calling me "Pinocchio." What precisely does that mean? I'm rather sure I told her my name was Geno...

harley

Now, I much dislike to say this, but I'm not very fond of this man. I've been warned that he was crazy... And to my knowledge of that word, he rather is. He told me to have a cookie. I put it as politely as I could that this body is unable to consume food, and he became terribly offended. He hasn't said anything to me since, but he attempted to set me on fire with a match. I had to detach my leg and go ask for Glace's assistance.
My foot is still charred, but luckily, that is covered by my boot.

comet

One of the nicer residents I've met, I think. I met him when he was first moving into town... He looked at me oddly at first, but he seems to have gotten over it. I helped him find his current residence, which I hope he's satisfied with.

lia

A bit of a confusing girl to me. She's rather emotional, but her personality seems to change at random moments. But she's kind, nonetheless. I found her lost diary once. I didn't read it, and she was rather relieved of that once I gave it back... And I was relieved that she wasn't angry with me, to be honest.

tiffany

A bold young girl with quite alot of ambition. She's rather honorable in that way. She's a bit.. as you say, vain... but I can tell that she has a good heart. She told me of some literature that she enjoys... but, I'm rather confused. Is Mrs. Nintendique a book, or a person? It sounds like a name, but she spoke of it as some sort of book...

pudding

A hyperactive girl. She's very cute, and yet she claims she fights aliens, and I've found that, by the word's definition, I am an alien. Oh, dear...

------------

I didn't catch this one girl's name, but she had pink hair and an eyepatch. She calls me a tree and asked if I would keep a fire burning. Should I take this as a threat as well? I don't want to assume things of these residents...

babbit

She's a rather nice bat, I think, but I have reason to think that she's rather confused and possibly a little off. She likes television, and apparently everybody does even though I'm not completely sure what it's about. Oh, well.
I've met her quite a lot lately. I've grown quite fond of her. She's very nice and she tries to explain things better to me, like love...

princess shroob (the younger)

... Why me?
She is, frankly, quite a big brat. She's never very polite and seems to think that everybody on Earth is inferior. She doesn't understand English, so I have to act as a translator.

glinda (the good)

She's... nice. Very perky, bubbly (literally, actually) and she useds words I don't understand. Somebody told me that she may be concealing weapons in Shroobish. I'm not sure I belive that.

... I'm gonna start by saying that this post ISN'T in character. Gosh, that would be confusing to write, and read. XD'''

This was the best picture I could find, thanks to the fact that there weren't even any good pictures of him IN THE GAME. O.O You kinda have to piece the sprites together and imagine it. XD''' But this was a pretty good picture, since there's three pictures there. (He's clooonnneed =O It's only during that one fight, seriously XD)

He's from the game Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, a Nintendo/Square game for the SNES. Which is fun, but so random. I find dolls scary. Which makes all this very ironic. XD

Anyway, I'm gonna do his story in a nutshell. The spoiler-y parts are in white.

When you first go into the Rose Town inn, there's a somewhat crazy little boy named Gaz playing with dolls in a rather violent way. The slightly scary little boy kills off his Mario doll then notices the real Mario, and decides to make him play Bowser because Mario "bought the farm."
Gaz plays Geno, then knocks Mario out. (Gaz is really violent for a little boy O.O)
And then that night something twinkly comes in and then there is much flashing and the Geno doll becomes huge and walks away.

When Mario wakes up, Gaz is rambling like a lunatic about how he saw Geno walked out into the forest. His mother tells him that's silly.

Theeennn cue more gameplay, following Geno in the forest, then a boss fight gets picked and Geno joins you for the fight. Gosh, that boss is annoying and creepy. And he talks like Yoda. =O

Sooo then you beat the boss and he explains himself as being from Star Road and trying to repair it when the giant sword came down and blah blah blah. He's sorta long winded. XD'''' But, to shorten it, Star Road grants wishes and it's broken so it can't. D= But he explains to you what the heck you're trying to do in the game then he joins your party. Woo!

He's, like, there during the whole game, obviously, buuuttt nothing really notable happens with him till the end. So, highlight at your own risk! XD'

Sooo, you get through Bowser's Keep and the giant sword eats you and he explains that you got thrown in between dimensions. Cool! =O
Then he reminds you what you're doing then Bowser threatens to rip his stuffing out. And he laughs. Probably because he's clearly wooden and has no stuffing. =O ( To back this fact up, Belome says he tastes like wood when he clones him XD)
Anyway, then you have to fight a bunch of mini-bosses in a row, and each of your party members comment about something. Geno's last, and he comments with an ever-so-vague "Out quest is almost over, and when the time comes..."

Sooo then you get to Smithy
and he says "yo." This concerned me greatly. Anyway, he lectures Smithy a bit then you fight him. Twice.

Then when you win (which you should, I didn't even have to use any items XD'') there's a looonnnngggg cinematic with alot of flashing and the doll is all not-alive anymore. Which is creepy. Then Geno (now a star again) floats away. And the whole party is smiling! WHY ARE YOU ALL SO MEAN?!?!!? T-T Can't you see he's going?

... Anyway, and then there's more twinkling and more long-windedness with a bunch of fulfilling scenes of everything being better. Yey! XD

Aaannd there you have it. =O Am I a freak for remembering that? Totally. XD

Today was... rather interesting. Some girls spotted me by the forest. One said her name was "Pudding," which, to my knowledge, is a food. Well, I've never been very good with names. She was nice, but got rather close. She asked if I was an alien. Well, I suppose that, if I am correct in understanding that an alien is a being not from that world, I am. She said she fights aliens. I should try rather hard not to upset her, then.

There was also another girl... I didn't hear her name, but she touched me, then repeatedly called me a tree. She asked if I would keep a fire burning if I were to be thrown into it. I find this rather unnerving... I suppose that this body is more or less disposable, but I don't think I'd want to come back if people wanted me gone that much...

Oh, yes, Comet was there as well. He didn't say very much, but he was still there. He pointed out a particular girl and said that she made Harley crazier then he was before, then told me to figure it out myself.

Altogether, it was an interesting night, but I still feel rather threatened.

Oh, well.

Well, i wasn't doing much of anything when a green bird hopped up to me and told me to go help a 'lunatic.'

I looked a bit, and found her... I'm not sure I'd say she was a lunatic, but she was a bit odd. I helped comfort her, I think, but then she seemed fixed on the idea that I was a certain 'Rei.' Afterwards, once she decided I wasn't, she became depressed yet again.

But she left happy, so I'm satisfied.

Hmm. It has been a very long time since I wrote, hasn't it?

I still do not understand these people. I have been here over a year and still do not comprehend all their ways, but I feel that I am doing much better.

I met someone who has been helping me a lot. Her name is Babbit, and she is the aforementioned 'lunatic.' She still sometimes addresses people by names that don't belong to them, but she's very nice, and tells me all about television and love.

I want to do something nice for her. I can't really hear what it is she is wishing for from down here, so I hope she enjoys whatever it is.
