This is me and my best mate Alex.
We were in orchestra together for a while but we weren't friends until his sophomore year.
Both of us remember the exact moment we became friends.
We were on a big charter bus to Dallas, a trip he didn't even want to go on, and he woke up and asked me (the closest person around) if we were there yet. I said, "We are but not really." Having meant we were in Dallas but not at our destination yet. That is when the crazy shenanigans started. Oh the things we did and got into.
rofl We have been inseperable since. Every single day we hung out and did so much together. We both crushed on each other at the same time but both weren't ready to admit it. Then we moved on and we found out about it later, haha.
As you might be able to tell, he is schooling at the Naval Academy! And doing quite well. He moved there around the same time I moved to NC. We just HAPPENED to be visiting Annapolis and he just HAPPENED to have a liberty weekend and was meeting his family so we got the chance to meet up and hang out! It was fantastic!!
We've had a rough patch but we're still strong friends. We're both really busy (and obviously states apart) so we don't talk much but when we do it's like no time at all seperated us.
He's actually a year and a half younger than I am but I've always regarded him as an older brother. He's obviously taller, he's smarter, and he does carried himself in a way that made him seem older. (Well, sometimes...hahaha)
